i love the English version. The first episode is always a bit manic so will reserve judgement. It’s interesting though the names of two traitors have already been brought up!

I've just caught up - very satisfying finish. It's nice to see some clever faithful win for a change instead of clueless ones who have just been taken along for the ride.

The breakfast scene when Kelley and Oyin seemed to clock it was the boys was well done.

I thought this was a really good series on the whole apart from the tasks which were even more hopeless than usual and the small prize pot. They had a good cast and there was a good amount of tension as to who would triumph until Nick's banished. Probably my favourite faithful winner in Oyin.

Maybe they’ll invest more next season as it seems to have beamed a success? I don’t know about audience share etc…?

I read (I think in the Irish Times) that the average viewing numbers, across all platforms, was 1mil per episode. Which considering we've a population of ~5mil is huge.
Across all platforms I take to mean those watching live, on catch-up, and on RTÉ Player.
It was a huge success.
Kevin McGahern made a comment something like "... thanks for making tv popular again..."

I figured it would be. Great! Then hopefully they can stop thinking of it as an ‘experiment’ as Siobhán McSweeney said they’d been, and put more thought into the tasks being fun to watch.

The 'Behind the Srory' rté podcast has a traitors special where they are speaking to the producers. It's interesting to hear the other side.

Such a successful series. V well produced / edited.

Great mix of folk. Shame some had to go so early. It be good if the first day or two everyone was safe so they could bed in a bit. But then I suppose it might take forever for a series.

I’m late as I was on holidays but enjoyed the end. So glad Nick and Ben didn’t win. Don’t like Kelley but glad that Vanessa and Oyin won. I’d have preferred Jo, Vanessa and Oyin.

agree the missions are crap but I hate the missions anyway. I’d like if there was more footage of them just talking about normal stuff and having a laugh like early BB. Prize pot should be a €100k. €14k isn’t a house deposit in Ireland these days!

@honeyrider Traitors Ireland is on RTÉ Player, but if you mean Celeb Traitors I'm not sure where you'd see it - although it's only ep.2 tonight BBC 1 at 9pm.
