On a scale of 1-10?

I'm triple vaxxed but haven't had Covid yet (lucky me)!

I'd put myself on about a 5 anxiety wise for Delta, a 7/8 for Omicron.

Just don't know who or what to believe on infection risks...

  1. Currently isolating with covid. The only thing that gives me anxiety is the restrictions.
XenoBitch · 15/12/2021 15:58

I'm not worried about Covid at all. I'm triple vaxxed and I had Covid in October - it was no worse than a bad cold. I am absolutely terrified of going back into lockdown. I'm a teacher and online teaching is disastrous for kids. My own teens suffered so much in lockdown. It makes me want to weep just thinking about it.

SandyStarfish · 15/12/2021 15:59

Covid - 6
Affect on hospital services - 10

BeyondMyWits · 15/12/2021 16:00

0- Getting covid

10- nhs getting overwhelmed and not able to help me should I suffer another heart attack.

IndigoC · 15/12/2021 16:01

About a 4 right now.

I think things are going to get wild over the next month with a lot of disruption to services but there’s science and anecdata starting to trickle through now that has me hopeful Omicron might genuinely be mild. I have hope that this blasted pandemic might end for the first time in ages. But if it turns out Omicron is as severe as Delta or only a bit milder I’ll be at a 10.

the80sweregreat · 15/12/2021 16:01

10 for the NHS.
Those poor sods need a break ..

89redballoons · 15/12/2021 16:01

Not scared of Covid all else being equal. Worried about restrictions. However I'm 6 months pregnant and (1) would rather not get covid in my 3rd trimester, despite being double vaxxed and soon to be boosted and (2) don't fancy giving birth against a background of NHS collapse.

MarshaBradyo · 15/12/2021 16:01

Covid -1

Restrictions - 7 to 9 depending on what is forced

userxx · 15/12/2021 16:02

Am so fucking bored off the whole thing now.

BlackCatz · 15/12/2021 16:02

7 in regards to restrictions happening again.

BarmyBrunhilde · 15/12/2021 16:02

Catching Covid myself: 2

All the other negative impacts both the virus and potential restrictions could have: 9

TheVampiresWife · 15/12/2021 16:03

I've had covid twice and am triple jabbed. I'm CEV (immunosuppressed).

Last Christmas my MH reached crisis point. I was self harming and on antidepressants for the first time in decades. I was just beginning to get better (it's been a long haul) and now, all this.

In one way I'm worried because I don't want to get seriously ill (even though last time I had it I was asymptomatic). But I'm far more worried about how my MH is going to fare in the coming months. The storm clouds are gathering and I've had a few very dark moments already, summed up by saying that if this is life for me forever (because that's how it feels), I don't want to live it anyway.

Yes, I know I could just go to gigs and meet people and get on buses and whatever - but the thought of being seriously unwell terrifies me.

It's a complete mess, basically.

FindingMeno · 15/12/2021 16:03

vodkaredbullgirl · 15/12/2021 16:03

Porfre · 15/12/2021 16:03

Re covid- 1
Re boris and restrictions- 9.5

Mojoj · 15/12/2021 16:03

About Covid, not even remotely. About the mass hysteria and panic, very.

Remmy123 · 15/12/2021 16:03

I've never been worried

LittleBabyCheeses · 15/12/2021 16:04

Illness wise, 0. wasn’t worried about catching it unvaxxed as my risk of server outcomes was miniscule. Now I have had 3 vaccinations, that risk is below miniscule.
Worry about being unable to access healthcare services… high. We have been trying for a year to get someone to take our concerns about DC seriously. We’ve finally got some traction and I’ll be gutted if that all gets taken away again.

blameitonthecaffeine · 15/12/2021 16:05

0 for Covid. Had it in Sept and was almost asymptomatic. All children have had it and were asymptomatic. Husband had it and had a cold.

6 for restrictions and school closures. I don't really think it will happen and everything around me in real life seems normal ish but reading social media scares me.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 15/12/2021 16:05

Worried about catching Omicron: 2/10

Worried about my Christmas trip to Ireland getting screwed up: 10/10
