AIBU to ask how many toilet rolls you currently have in your house?!

After being accused of panic buying and enabling/encouraging panic buying on another thread I’m curious as to what’s the norm.
As toilet roll seems to have sold out everywhere or most places at least - do you have a big stock of them normally?

We currently have 18 left over from one of the big packs of 40 from Costco we bought a while ago - always do our big shopping there so also have wipes and antibac laundry in volume for the same reason!

We just started a 24 pack I picked up last week. Those are the packs we normally buy to get good value, so I didn't feel bad at getting a single bulk pack, there was plenty left on the shelves when I bought it.

If people bulk bought before this virus.

It is nothing to do with being cruel and out of order. Because there wasnt a shortage then.... Nothing to do with anyone else

I am, however, considering switching to DD's Cheeky Wipes for pees, just to keep usage down!

About 35. I've not bought any for a while. I have a box in the bathroom I usually keep filled and I ordered a 24 pack a while ago because it was on offer and I needed to add something to make the minimum order amount.

I got 2 lots of 9 in last couple of weeks regular shop.
I managed to get an Ocado shop yesterday and they didn't gave any packs of 9, but had the bumper 18 pack!
But I am now providing for my parents and relative w Alzheimer's

And still they go on boasting about their stash

23, but it’s the same pack we always buy, pack of 24 once a month, it just so happens we bought another one last week as we were down to our last 4. My husband has Crohns so it’s imperative we have toilet roll in the house, I wish he didn’t use so much but he has a bowel condition so it is what it is!

I was half way through my last loo roll when I ordered a pack of 4 with my delivery. They didn't have 4s so sent a pack of 9. Since 1 loo roll lasts me 2-3 weeks, I won't need to order any for weeks.

The OP asked the question, which people have answered. What is bizarre, is the fact that you’re offended that people have responded to a question. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Many people are feeling that everything is beyond their control, so even knowing that they have enough of ANY item may give them some feeling of control. What makes you think they’re boasting? Are you angry or jealous? You’d better stay off the preppers’ board. You would be beyond offended.

Bold fail

Did a count today. I buy andrex quilts when on special and haven't bought any since the shortages. I have 2 x 16 packs, 2 x 9 packs, 1 x 4 pack and a couple in the toilets. 59 in total.

I also buy napolina pasta when on special, found packs spread out over. a few cupboards and I have around 8kg of pasta. 1 of which is out of date (and will be eaten this week!)

I only have 2 eggs, horrible barn ones. anyone want to swap loo rolls or pasta for some nice eggs? 🤣
