I was so glad when the first two were released. I can't imagine why Israel would refuse 2 more, unless there was a condition attached maybe?

Either there was an unacceptable condition attached, or this is just a lie.

Hard to beleive that murderers, rapists and kidnappers would also lie, I know.

I've twice seen a Hamas spokesman tell Channel 4 News that they haven't taken any hostages. That's the level of blatant lying we're dealing with here. Has Israel refused to take back hostages or is the whole thing another Hamas propaganda lie? Maybe, if the offer was made, the terms were so terrible that Israel could never accept.

Al Jazeera is Qatari - state sponsors of Hamas. I wouldn't trust them on the subject.

Israel are holding 6,000 Palestinians 'hostage' in administrative detention, many of whom are children. No rights to legal representation, to see family, or even to know the reason they are being held.

Just release the hostages to Egypt/Lebanon/ Qatar etc etc

How is stating facts about the content’s of Israel’s jails anti-semitic?

There must be some sort of protocol that is followed, My understanding is , Qatar is the preferred mediator of both Hamas , US and Israelis .
They can’t just take them to the Egyptian or Lebanese border too risky.

So the way these threads generally work is:

1. Excuse my ignorance as I don't know much about the Arab Israeli conflict but could someone please explain to me [insert something emotive]
2. post some factually incorrect comments and deny certain events took place
3. when countered / challenged or corrected immediately shift to whataboutery
4. quickly moving on to conspiracy theories
5. once seeds of doubt are planted revert back to denial

The thing is both sides of this debate are driven by conviction and will dismiss any factual information that shows their comments to be fake news. Nothing will ever change both sides views and unless we stop emotive opinions and instead stick to the facts then it will be impossible to reach a peaceful solution.
