Hello everyone, no tickets required, just jump on the TTC Bus, and let's hope we'll all be getting off at the November Stop.

Add your name to the list as follows:

For anyone not familiar with the acronyms....that's what number child you are tring to conceive, how many cycles you've been trying, what day you are on, and what your usual cycle length is.

Hello, am also moving over from the October thread. Just finished my Clomid for this month and have a hsg booked for friday. We're not supposed to be having sex this month til after then so the ttc starts saturday. I've got 2dc (ds1 took 2 years and ds2 took 14 months) we also have the added problem that dp can't ejaculate during sex so we have to self inseminate. This is our 8th month of ttc (2nd month on Clomid) and cd7. Good luck everyone.

FifiOK · 27/01/2009 23:29

Welcome mensa, Homeinthesun , and DancingQueen. Sorry you had to join us but lovely to have you on board all the same. We've just had a bar installed upstairs on the Bus for all those girlies who are treating themselves to the odd drink or 3 after the arrival of AF. So pour yourself a large one:

Meant to say, i have very irregular cycles usually between 40-60 days but the Clomid last month gave me a 31 day cycle so i'm going to say ucl31 as Clomid should set them into a regular pattern.

nunnie · 28/01/2009 11:17

BY in the Oct club, I don't mean I am pregnant just mean I am not hopeful.

nunnie · 28/01/2009 11:18

Next question, what are all the cd numbers after your names what are they codes for I want one!

nunnie · 28/01/2009 11:22

nunnie TTC #2 CD1 UCL 28.

I am struggling with the cycle number sorry help required.

monkeybumsmum · 28/01/2009 11:26

Hi nunnie welcome aboard, and sorry you're joining us all at the same time When's AF due?

Think cycle number means how many cycles you've been trying for. It is all a wee bit complicated isn't it! Took me aaaaages to figure out what all the different initials mean!

Good luck!

nunnie · 28/01/2009 11:32

Right here goes
TTC#2 Cycle 17, CD28, UCL28

My period started today always come when you don't want them too there like men sorry, I have to keep myself smiling or I cry.

monkeybumsmum · 28/01/2009 11:43

Ah nunnie am sending you a big (((hug))). Is so shit when AF just keeps on coming. And after 17 cycles I'm not surprised you feel like crying Have you been to see anyone about it?

nunnie · 28/01/2009 11:47

Thanks monkeybumsmum, I am going to have some blood tests on the 17th Feb, fingers crossed they will hold the answer.
Took me 4 years with my first, but am praying it will be a bit quicker this time I couldn't stand another 4 year wait

monkeybumsmum · 28/01/2009 12:01

4 years You poor thing. That wait must have seemed interminable. I so hope your luck changes and that you have a happy and healthy pregnancy soon. Fingers crossed hey x

nunnie · 28/01/2009 12:04

I made an appointment to see the doctor last time after 4 years of trying thought I ahd better get checked, before the appointment came, I missed a period and found out I was pregnant. I was hoping deep down that the same thing might of happened this time, but alas it wasn't meant to be.

monkeybumsmum · 28/01/2009 12:18

Life rarely works out as we wish it to does it. Good luck on the 17th. Do you know what they are going to test for?

rainbowdays · 28/01/2009 12:53

Good afternoon ladies, how are the loud crowd at the bar, at the back of the bus??? I am sitting quietly at front, optimistic and happy, I am sure you will come and join me when you have had a few drinks!!!!

nunnie · 28/01/2009 12:59

monkeybumsmum, they are testing me for a number of things, progesterone was one, glucose, thyroid, fbc, and then the doctor just wrote a load of letters which obviously meant something to her and hopefully the haemotologist but meant nothing to me. Basic tests to see if I am ovulating and a couple of tests for conditions that slow down the conception process was the bits I understood.

monkeybumsmum · 28/01/2009 13:10

Well let's hope if they find something that it's easily mendable

Hi rainbowdays I think I shall join you on the optimistic row if that's okay Am fed up of thinking negatively! (Might being nipping to the back every so often though ) So you have a 26 day cycle, does that mean you have to start bd'ing earlier then? Hope DP/DH is all geared up!

scarlotti · 28/01/2009 14:50

Hello ladies - another one for the barstools here

I am still waiting for AF this cycle but it's my first cycle since my ERPC in Dec - Xmas eve of all days. That m/c was at 10 weeks and followed a m/c at 5 weeks. This time we decided to wait for one complete cycle so will be ttc again next month (i.e. Feb). I'll leave the cycle day off until AF comes as am not entirely sure when that might be. Am temping again so know I did ovulate this month, was just about 10 days later than I'd expect.

Here's the list:

Hi everyone. Just worked out that DH won't be home until about 7.30pm on my cd12 and because of maybe short, maybe long cycles I'm really worried that we're going to miss the BIG day. I have ovulation stick things from ebay but I don't know if I trust them to be right, DH will be bringing the saliva ovulation test thing that I got off ebay. I'm going to do the grape fruit juice thing as well, does anyone know when I have to start drinking the gross stuff?
