Hello everyone, no tickets required, just jump on the TTC Bus, and let's hope we'll all be getting off at the November Stop.

Add your name to the list as follows:

For anyone not familiar with the acronyms....that's what number child you are tring to conceive, how many cycles you've been trying, what day you are on, and what your usual cycle length is.

Heya Nunnie, hold on to some hope until af arrives anyway. [smle]

As for the pork well i've never felt so sick! I love pork and the crackling too. Cooked it up, adored the smell of the honey roasted carrots and parsnips. Ate half a pork chop and could not eat any more. The fat turned me right of. DH commented that ive been feeling sick on and of for 3 days (in the 15 years togbether ive only been sick about 5 times im not a sicky person) now, added with burny boobs (sometimes) so he thinks i am pg. Woke up this morning with a feeling i definately was with twins!? Did a test and bfn. Forgot to hide the wrapper as didnt wanna get dh excited. he found it of course.

Thing is Nunnie why the hell am i doing this to myself! Im only 25 days into my cycle (est a day either way) I knew as i peed on the stick that even if i was it wont show up yet as there just cheepo tesco ones! Also how do you determine symtoms etc and feeling you def are, from the fact that it could be my imagination where i want it so much. I'm not overly upset about the bfn as it is the first month but still i must be going mad in my head!?
Time will tell i suppose sorry to have rambled on!!

mizzidee · 22/03/2009 12:50

SHIRLEYC.. you WILL get there in the end. Stay stronge & keep having faith in yourself. There is a time for everyone. I have hoped, prayed & on many occasions i have nearly given up. I dont know how i managed to bounce back, month after month, after each negative cycle, but i did.. that is what US strong ladies do. It feels like forever i know, but the funny thing is NOTHING is forever,U WILL succeed in the end. Keep trust in yourself & best of wishes..x
Ps.. I am on clomid & i have just reached my last cycle on it (been on it for 12 months),i have only managed to concieve now on my last round. 12 cycles on clomid is enough to send anyone potty..but i prayed like hell this last month & yesturday "THANK GOD" i have been given a 'positive' HPT result. So hang on in there your time will come.

shirleyc · 22/03/2009 13:01

aww thanks mizzi and grats on your bfp! i know it will happen just patience is all, and its something in our family we dont have! I just feel different this month conbined with the sickness so i will test again in a weeks time minimum.

nunnie · 22/03/2009 15:56

Shirleyc, what mizzidee said, do not give up hope. Symptom spotting is a side effect unfortunatly, the more you tell yourself you won't the more you spot! The only thing that keeps me sane (as sane as I can be is if I fail I will always look to the next month and think of a good reason why in this case a December baby will be lovely, if that fails I will find a reason why a January baby would be lovely etc.
In all my months of trying this time and with the years of trying with #1 I don't think there was ever a month I couldn't find a lovely reason to have a child.

I can't tell you not to think about it as that would make me a hypocrit, I can't tell you to ignore symptoms for the same reason.

You just have to remain positive and not loose hope, even though sometimes you will feel like this.

Too early to test really Shirley, to be sure of an accurate result you need to leave it till the day after your period is due.
I know how you feel though, I convince myself I have symptoms, which I know deep down in my heart are not symptoms they are hopes and then I test early, cos then I can tell myself it was too early and I still have hope, whereas if I just left it till after my AF then I would have never had the POAS and anxious wait and that glimmer that maybe I am.

When is your AF due? are you a 28 dayer?

shirleyc · 23/03/2009 07:11

Nunnie thanks for your kind words. I dont know if i'm a 28 day'er as i never paid attention to dates before. All i know is i came of on 2nd March and normally am on for about 4/5 days max, so i assumed i came on around the 28th Feb thus being due around 26th March. Idf that makes sense.

VeryAnnieMary · 23/03/2009 08:43

Hey all

Mizzidee many congrats!

I POAS again at the weekend, just to make sure, still no AF, still a BFN so I am leaping off this bus and assuming that I now have really long cycles! - that being the case I won't be on the December bus but the not-yet existing January one. Bought some new jeans at the weekend so each month I bfn I can at least have the upside of wearing new tight jeans! (yes, am really that shallow...)

Hope I don't see any of you on the Jan bus with me, all the best for December x

oooh can i join in please.

have just found out today i'm pregnant - yahay, so so excited.

this will be my 2nd pregnancy - got a 2.5 yo dd

shirleyc · 24/03/2009 07:25

Morning all.

Feeling a bit crappie today due to my dh really annoying me! I think af is on her way to as im feeling quite short tempered this morning and just generally low! Why are men so inconcistent! grr anyway moving on......

Watched The Great Sperm Race last night on channel 4 and it left me feeling that theres no chance his sperm would have got through! Af due tommorrow (round then anyway) boobs dont seem like they normally are when im due on, they normally bigger, firmer and more sensitive but they feel normal today.
Oh well...... chin up

latestarter2009 · 24/03/2009 10:48

hi everyone - gone awol for a while trying to work out what was happening with the early spotting......unbelievably it went on for fourteen days - including slightly heavier AF so I have decided it was probably a very early miscarriage even though the tests said otherwise....am now about to ovulate with unusually abundant EWCM so a silver lining maybe...have taken myself off the list (and updated) as i move over to the dec bus....good luck to those still waiting.

Got blood test this morning and will get results tomorrow so fingers crossed!!!

shirleyc · 26/03/2009 12:50

someone please be on!!!! Need some advice..... Left pg test on side in bathroom after doing this morning and just tidied up and got 2 lines????? I have to ignore this right as it didnt show up immediately?

posted on all 3 forums im on as i have work in a minute and am seriosuly confused!!???

seanybosmummy · 26/03/2009 13:28

Hi Shirley how long had you left the test sitting there for before you noticed the 2 lines?

Sorry i cant be of much use but if i were you i would go to docs asap and demand a blood test. i had one this morning and had a chat with the doc about pg tests-he said they are very unreliable.

shirleyc · 26/03/2009 21:38

Hiya Seansbosmummy,

Thanks for your message, I had the test sitting there realistically a good 3 hours or more before i looked at it the second time. But i did dismiss it after no line say maybe 3 mins or so, i'd def say no more than 5 mins.

I've bought a couple more tests so will post results in morning. I definately feel different no doubt about that will see how i get on in the morning.

Thanks

seanybosmummy · 26/03/2009 21:58

fingers crossed for you shirley!!

shirleyc · 27/03/2009 06:29

thankyou seansbosmummy,

Tested this mornign BFN, feeling sad obviously and very confused. I feel pregnant/different yet this clear blue tells me otherwise.
Suppose i just have to wait and see what happens now, thanks anyway.

seanybosmummy · 27/03/2009 08:58

shirley i honestly think you should go to see the doc and get a blood test done, that way you can put your mind more at ease.

I hate pg tests with a passion, they are so unreliable!! I was reading some posts written last nite on other sites about ppls experiences with tests (esp cb) and the general opinion was that they are keek!!

It was written that some tests even within the same batch have diff sensitivities-our bloody bodies let us down and then these stupid tests let us down too!!

Ok rant over but im sure you get the gist!

shirleyc · 27/03/2009 09:03

thankyou seansbosmummy,

im obsessing about it now, found a site talking about evap lines and pple sent pics of their test, one looks excatly like mine does, only my lines a bit darker.
My Dr's are fitting me in at 10:20 this morning how super fast was that!

Working all aftern oon so can take my mind of it then. thankyou.

seanybosmummy · 27/03/2009 09:11

Oh thats great that they can fit you in, at least you know on monday you will hav an answer!

I know wot you mean about obsessing- i got bfp on monday then bfn on tuesday+weds so im geting blood test results at 10.30am this morning! eeeek! af is 5 days late. i had 1 tiny strand of brown sticky cm yest,1 dot of pink on tissue on weds morning at 5am and 3 miniscule strands of brown cm on weds afternoon(lookd more like tiny clots) sorry for tmi!!!

So im sort of in the same boat so i know exactly how you must be feeling. good luck to us both!!!

shirleyc · 27/03/2009 09:17

ooh good luck for you this morning then!! As for obsessing i had a very small amount of thick brownish cm yesterday wiped away didnt come to anything? Im planning on showing my gp my test and asking him what he thinks, then telling him im not sure how long it took to come up. Also hoping ill need to pee whilst im there incase he feels like giving me a free test

shirleyc · 28/03/2009 21:03

ok seansmummy looks like im of this bus, posted this on several threads copied onto all:

Hi everyone, well today is/was cd 31.
I started bleeding yesterday afternoon only medium this has carried on all day whilst ive been at work. Kept an eye on it through the day not had any cramps or anything, just got home from work used the loo and had a smallish/medium clot, TMI it was dark red and quite stringy so i think thats it for me this month. Im assuming ive just miscarried, i was def pregnant 3 out of 4 tests def positive, the one from this morning had a medium/strong blue line.

I've not had any cramps or pains and the bleeding certainly isnt heavy, ive only used 2 panty lines today. Because ive been focussing on the bleeding ive not paid much attention to feeling sick, although have had a few waves od nausea.

So questions, do i just wait and test again in a week or so just incase?
Do i count yesterday as CD1 again and start again?
I've never been pregnant before to my knowledge and working today sorry guys but its been hell, trying to work and not think about our loss. DH is ok and suggesting we get a doll for the dog to get used to for when we do have a baby, such as making him leave it alone etc etc.

anyway enough about me how are you all doing? Hope you've all had lovely days and enjoyed your saterday. I9 have tommorrow of finally i really need a days rest to get over all of this! sad
