I'll just include a foreward for anyone new who joins us, this is a supportive group for anyone who has had a loss, no matter how early or late. Everyone here has experieced the upset and understands.

Ive gone through the list and more than likely left people out so add anyone you think I've forgotten.

Hey! Can I join this thread? I had a miscarriage in January at 8 weeks and then a chemical in March... in my two week wait again and I'm feeling so deflated by it all. No living children and I've never wanted something more in my life!

So I've news today. I got accepted into the hse [irish equivalent of nhs] fertility hub. They are going to run a few tests for me. They said that the trauma of what's happened to me and oh has likely impacted conceiving mentally and this will rule out hopefully any physical internal issues as despite the seriousness of our loss, I can't accept something isnt wrong with me. I'm so shocked as I didn't think I'd be accepted but apparently our case is unique. I got the forms today and should have my first appointment in the next few weeks.

Aw @Ella31 that's great news that they're seeing you and hopefully that will help you mentally too. I hope they rule out any problems but it could be the trauma and knowing you're getting tests etc could help relax you and lead to you conceiving 🤞

That's what I'm thinking. If something comes up fair enough, but I'm hoping not. Either way it's a step in the right direction

@Ella31 hopefully it is the mental side of things or if it is something then it'd easily fixable with a supplement or something. How many dpo are you now?

Tallgirl91 · 13/06/2024 14:41

OMG , I have vvfl on my tests 9dpo 🫢

Thank you ❤️ just finished and pleased to say all's looking good, measuring 8+5. As I've miscarried at 10 weeks before they've booked me in again for 2 weeks time x

I’m so pleased for you!
I am guessing your scan was with the EPU? Were they happy to see you due to previous losses? Great that they are booking you in again in 2 weeks

Figtree11 · 13/06/2024 15:02

That’s great @Ella31 Hopefully your appointment will be here before you know it

@jellyfish2 definitely keep testing, I have a rapid peak and decline!

@Ella31 I have everything crossed for you when you test tomorrow 🤞🏻❤️

@Figtree11 thank you ❤️ yes it was at the EPU. I rang them when I found out I was pregnant and they were happy to book me in due to having had two missed miscarriages, they've been great to be honest. How are you doing?

jellyfish2 · 13/06/2024 15:36

@ThelastRolo20 @Ella31 so at 1130 I did an opk which was at .33 and I thought that was the start of the surge just did another and it's down to 0.09. Do you think working nightshift could have caused me to get my surge during the night? I didn't test at work so I last tested at 330pm yesterday. Im going to do a hold and do another later but wondering if I've missed it because I've been Nightshift so it's messed it up a little. Either way we've been having a quickie before work anyway haha.

I think keep testing, it wouldn't be that low today if you surged. What tests are you using

I’m just catching up.

@ThelastRolo20 that is great news and fab they are keeping an eye on things.

@Ella31 also brilliant news about the appointment. You never know just knowing your going to be seen will relax you.

@Tallgirl91 thats great news was it a FR?

im struggling today emotionally. Really heavy clotty bleeding and such bad pains definitely worse than my regular periods. Even if I hadn’t of tested early I would of known something was different. I keep going from hopeful because we caught to massive lows and bursting into tears and panicking. I still don’t want to face anyone or work and struggling to know how to make myself feel better xx

Would it be worth going into gp to check it out? That bleeding sounds very heavy. I know emotionally this is so hard but it will get better. Loss is such a minefield and you'll have a lot of support here. Hugs 🫂

My previous cycle I caught my surge at 6pm (1.19) and by 8am it was back down at 0.12 so I must surge quickly. I'll keep testing anyway and see what happens.
