Starting thread number 4, can you believe it? Congrats to everyone who has been lucky the last few threads and for those who have had recent losses again or new, keep strong, you are amazing. To those still trying, it will happen, myself included there and we will support each other.

I'll just include a foreward for anyone new who joins us, this is a supportive group for anyone who has had a loss, no matter how early or late. Everyone here has experieced the upset and understands.

Ive gone through the list and more than likely left people out so add anyone you think I've forgotten.

@Ella31 I haven't tested, try not to until AF is late. But I know this feeling and unfortunately it's definitely AF.

@ThelastRolo20 thank you - tomorrow evening my brother and nephew are coming to stay for the night which is lovely, but also reminds me of what I don't have as my first miscarriage was before they conceived him (he's now 4 and going to school in September!) which is tough. Plus I know they are TTC no.2. So nice, but also sad?

Well I think I will be back. I went for a private scan today I measured 7+1 today which is exactly right. There was no heartbeat and no “clear yolk sac seen” I can’t understand how the baby was measuring exactly correct meaning baby’s heart probably stopped some point today before the scan. I also can’t understand how the baby grew to 10.5mm without a yolk sack. I’m so heartbroken as I had a chemical pregnancy the cycle before. We have been revered to EPAU tomorrow. I just don’t want another scan to tell me the same. Apparently the NHS don’t accept private scans so I will have to endure another. Do you think they will offer me D&V because sitting waiting and passing at home is going to cause further heartache. I am 39 and 40 in a few months. I am running out of time and my heart is completely shattered, like my heart actually hurts. Xx

That will be nice but it's completely understandable that you will think of the what ifs sometimes ❤️ it's possible to feel happy for others and sad for ourselves. I found acknowledging that helpful at time x

I took a vaginal PH test today as part of a broader vaginal microbiome test I’m doing post miscarriage. It was as high as it could have been, literally at the top of the scale 😳 A lot of articles say that this alkaline environment can cause issues conceiving and miscarriage…

I read about the potential correlation between BV and miscarriage. I struggle with recurrent BV which clearly is still an issue with this result 😬 Has anyone else had similar issues?

Hard to find out how to fix it as I seem to already be doing all the things recommended! X

@Joleyjojo so sorry to hear this. I’m new to the thread so hope you don’t mind me commenting. I had similar at what should have been 10 weeks. The NHS don’t accept private scans. So I had another scan at the nhs hospital and then had to wait another week for a confirmation scan before I was offered any help. They have to see no growth has happened between two scans. Ended up having surgical management as nothing happened naturally by that point I had already waited a week and a half since I found out. So sending you hugs as I know exactly how it feels. Hope you don’t have to wait as long as I did. It really sucks and there are no words but know I’m thinking of you xx

When I had my first MMC I didn’t have to wait as long. I had two scans a few days apart and then they offered me surgical management. I think it was to do with the size of the baby that could be seen. Or they have changed procedures in the last two years.

That sounds horrific. I really hope they don’t make me have 2. I have no hope and it’s clear 😞 sorry you had to go though that. I won’t know anything more until tomorrow. I just want it over xxx

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. It's so cruel and unfair. If baby measures over 7mm without a heartbeat they won't make you wait for a second scan, they just need two people there to confirm it ❤️ x

Thank you baby was measuring 10.5mm exactly 7+1. I just can’t get my head around it could of been a matter of minutes missing that heart beat. But if I had of seen it I would of gone off thinking everything was ok xx

This is really cruel. You were on my thread and I even wished you good luck for a viable pregnancy. I am really sorry it happened to you again but this time is much worse. I will be here like other supportive women. You are not alone.

Thank you for all your support. I have just started spotting. I am petrified of what’s going to happen soon. The pain, the blood I don’t want to see anything . I’m really quite scared x

@Joleyjojo just want to echo other posters that you most certainly aren’t alone. I’ve strangely only logged on tonight as I’ve been taking a break from everything ttc related since my mmc. But here I am brushed off and here if you need to talk x

This is the cruelty of scans, they're only reassuring in that moment 💔

BFN for me this morning at dpo 10 which was the dpo I tested positive when I had a mmc. Feel like I might be out this month, definitely don’t feel pregnant like I did last time but still trying to find things to cling on to, I’ve convinced myself my boobs look a bit different 😂

I know the feeling well, I had two private scans which the NHS would accept even though it was a clear mmc and had to wait over 2 more weeks before they’d just confirm let alone going down any route of resolution. I know it’s easy for me to say sitting on the other side now but it will get easier as the weeks go by 🤍

Can I get some thoughts on ovulation? Cycle so out of sync since MC, so been trying to track ovulation. Back at the beginning of the year when I first tried tracking, I did get a clear peak with a very strong line.
The test I did yesterday says it’s peak, the line is about the same colour as the control, but not darker. I’m not convinced I have actually peaked. Have had an increase of CM last few days, but not really what I would call egg white. Any thoughts?

If I were you I'd be testing afternoon not morning. Lh rises in the afternoon. So testing around lunchtime is high peak time. It builds up. In the build up to ovulation, you could test 7am, 1/2pm and 8pm

@Ella31 i struggle to test in the afternoon as I’m in the office most days of the week. But managed to today & it was low

Could you sneak of to toliet. Excuse the graphics here but I have little plastic pee pot. Throw away ones. 50 in a pack for 4 euro and I keep them and the tests in a pouch. Nip to the loo at work. Put it back in the pouch and can discreetly check it.

I also think the day you got your peak you ovulated later that night. Early morning of day 19

I’ll continue to test in case I haven’t actually peaked yet & see how they look over the next week. Have you ovulated now?

9dpo and feeling as though I am out this month. Raging AF symptoms as normal for this time. Does anyone else just feel like with each month this horrible ticking body clock :(?

@Figtree11 I also found sticks hard to follow but would have said the peak was the one you have identified there and that you have a slow rise with high levels. Mine is always really low and then I have a rapid surge overnight so tests just never work unless I test like 3x a day. I have to go for ewcm tracking mainly.

@Joleyjojo I am so so sorry for your loss and sending you all my love and support. I can imagine everything is a blur and numb at the moment. I really hope you are getting good care 💓

I think I ovulated last night. Tests are still strong but not as strong. I had these horrible stitch in my left side so I'm hoping that was the egg dropping. I dtd the last three days so hoping it was enough.
