Hey!

Thought id start a new thread as anyone at the beginning of their cycle TTC now I guess will be looking at January due dates! Think AF will be here today or tomorrow for me so my due date would be 7th January…

I’m joining please from last months thread.
Started my period Sunday so am on cycle day 4.
Am hoping this month will be it! Am going to try and dtd more frequently during fertile days as some other months we only did every other day.
I wonder if that will make a difference 🤔

Hi, I’m CD7 and due to ovulate next week in about a week! Hoping for a Jan baby 🤞🏻 had bloods done last month, all good and day 21 bloods which showed I did ovulate. Having to have a month off next ovulation due to me being in Mexico without bf so hoping this is the one

@Superwomen95 this month will hopefully be more successful for us both! I felt out last month before I’d even started…
so I’ve heard if you do every other day it’s supposed to be better because it gives a day for sperm to rebuild and it’s better quality? But in saying that I always try an DTD every day from peak!
I don’t know where I’m at in my cycle… I’ve had browny blood for four days and it seems to have stopped?! It’s so weird

Oh I didn’t know that we were supposed to be doing only every other day! Hmm, I guess I’ll keep doing what I’m doing but maybe peak day will do it 2 days in a row or something. I always only did every other day as otherwise it puts a lot of pressure on me and my partner.
About your period- that sounds strange. Can you count it as a regular period and hopefully ovulation will be in the next week or 2?

That is so positive that you are ovulating and the bloods were all good!
Hopefully BFP will come soon.

I had 2 miscarriages before I fell pregnant with my daughter.
First pregnancy took 3 months to conceive , second one 2 months and the 3 rd final one was conceived on the first try. So very quickly each time. I was very lucky!
I’m getting so nervous that this time round there is something wrong as this time taking it’s time!!

@Dogscanlookup I’ve been having spotting a week before period which is different for me so wanted to get all checked out. Did full bloods and all the hormonal ones. Also booked a private scan to be sure too otherwise I’ll over think, which I have on Saturday. Ah so annoying to be spotting it’s a nightmare ! Is this baby no1 ?

No sorry, my post was really unclear! I only have 1 child, the other 2 pregnancies ended in miscarriages unfortunately.
I am trying now for child #2, which doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon!

@Superwomen95 i think I’m going to have to count it as a period because it’s just entirely vanished. No idea what to call my first cycle day! So just going to start OPKs at weekend and see! Also try looking at the “sperm meets egg” advice. It says what days are best to DTD to guarentee your best chances! Sorry about your MCs, it’s awful isn’t it. I conceived my daughter 2nd month trying, and both other pregnancies ended in MC but I conceived 4 month and 1st month! This is now our 6th month trying.. I’m 35 now though

@Adamsapple89 good think to get checked out! I spot about a week before my period now, and had scans showing all good but polycystic ovaries. Not the syndrome though, I have regular periods etc. this month focusing on progesterone boosts after ovulation!

Can I please join? CD1 here, cycle 5 I think? Already have 2 DC from my first marriage who I’m incredibly grateful for, so feeling a bit like I’m pushing my luck hoping for a third. I thought I was done with babies but got married last year and gradually started feeling different, and DH feels the same.

@Cakeisafoodgroup welcome! And congrats on getting married! It sometimes feels that way when you’re having cycle after cycle with no luck, but I think it just does take a bit more time later on. It is frustrating though! Are you taking any vitamins?

Thank you @Dogscanlookup! I’m just taking normal preconception vitamins, but have been reading good things about CoQ10 so may add that in this month.

@Cakeisafoodgroup I’ve literally just taken my first dose of CoQ10 tonight! I’m thinking my egg quality might not be too great. So hopefully it’ll help, but apparently takes 3-4 months as that’s how long your eggs take to mature

So strange about your period, I hope you get a regular LH surge and was just a funny month. Thanks, yes the miscarriages were awful! Everything about conception and pregnancy is traumatic for me.
Can’t wait until this is in the past for us all.

@Superwomen95 definitely look at it, apparently it’s the best formula for your best chance at conceiving!

update with me.. so I did an ovulation test today as i have no idea where i am with my cycle. And it tested positive. Like, strong strong lines. I heard this could sometimes be when pregnant and sure enough I did a test and it says 1-2 weeks!! I’m so shocked. But also now really scared there’s something wrong because of the bleeding. I’ve instantly used my progesterone pesserie to help things along and I’m very nervous.
No relaxing in this TTC job, even when conceiving!

Yeah sadly, I took a test and it was a stark negative. It’s just strange that the first month TTC my cycle was the longest it’s ever been (35 days) and the second month, the shortest it’s ever been (23 days) 🤣 if it’s not normal again next month I’ll go to the GP. Hope alls going good with you @Dogscanlookup you’ll have to keep us updated with how you’re getting on x
