Ohh sounds good - not played a board games in ages! Back to work blues here - why does the Xmas break go so fast! And AF showed up - it’s my normal day so good not late again for no reason! But a bit disappointing when we DTD so much around fertile window! Boo - least work will keep me busy!

Hi all, can I join?! I’m 38 just ttc no.3 (the last!). This month was our first cycle and I’m 11dpo and getting negatives on first response. I know technically there is still a chance but both my previous pregnancies I had clear positives on 8dpo and 9dpo, so really think I’m out now and just looking towards next month.

My fertile window should roughly start around the 12th of Jan, so not long to wait at least. Fingers crossed for cycle two!

How many cycles is everyone else in? How old are you? Do you have any other children?

Hi 😀😀 also 38, have one DS - who is nearly 22 months and have been Ttc properly since sept, my periods came back in jan and stopped BFing in June.. and DS finally started to sleep! I am a bit mythed this time as was pregnant first cycle trying with my son… hence was in no rush to start the cycle again as stupidly assumed would be the same this time too! How old are you children?

I'm 35, I have one DD who is 5 in two weeks. We have been TTC since Feb.

It's really good. Easy to learn. It's a strategy game but after only a couple times playing it, I think I've nailed the strategy lol.

Hi...37 here . Have 2 kids 17 and 13...got a new partner who has a 9 year old.trying for our first baby together..
Been trying for 5 months going into month 6 now...starting to worry something is wrong with me...hopping someone on this thread gets there bfp soon..sending baby dust

@Applesandcake welcome! I'm 37, ttc #2. DS is 4 next month, conceived him on the 3rd cycle of trying. Have now been trying for 15 months, in that time I've had one mmc and two CP so really hoping our luck changes soon.

I have a just turned 5 year old and a just turned 2 year old. The 5 year old we conceived 2nd month (with suspect CP the first month), the 2 year old was the second month also. I’m still breastfeeding though, and being that bit older now as well I’m tentative about thinking it’ll be that fast again. I did have an unplanned pregnancy in the summer after a one off five days before ovulation! But it ended it a miscarriage.

It would be amazing if I fell pregnant in the second or third cycle this time!

Hi ladies going to join...TTC all last year no joy bar one chemical in may. Had 2 miscarriages in 22, fell pregnant first cycle for both. Have one son who will be 3 in April.
Turned 35 at the end of November and getting increasingly frustrated! Iv had tests done and seemingly low progesterone so have been on letrozole for the past 4 cycles.
Have been referred for further treatment so waiting appointment! Wishing everyone luck for '24 🍀

@Daniki good luck with your further tests. It's an incredibly frustrating journey. I've been given progesterone to take from a positive test. My CP happened so fast in Novemeber though that it didn't have chance to do anything.

Anyone used pre-seed? Giving that a go this month, really don't want to wait months again to get another positive test so hoping it helps.

@RoseH36 same i have it and aspirin and prednisone to take from positive test. I actually took it last cycle 3 days after positive opk to see but no joy. It did stop the spotting I get before period tho!
We use pre seed here, more so for the lube as TTC so long it's hard to get excited anymore 😂 I used it when I conceived my son and worked first cycle, same for my friend! Not this time tho altho iv used been using it as lube on the outer area kinda rather than using the applicator

Im 35 and TTC number 2, our first turns 2yrs in a couple of weeks.
We've been trying for 4 or 5 months now and I had a CP last month so this is our first cycle since that, I'm currently 11DPO and trying not to test until my period is due, to be honest even a positive test won't be that exciting after having a chemical now :(

@Daniki Good to know you've found pre seed helpful in the past. I think that's the biggest problem when it's all quite clinical with DTD so I'll try anything to help his swimmers a bit more 😂

After my chemical in November I was so convinced I was pregnant in December that I took it 2 days before AF was due as I as still getting no signs at all. I stopped it after 3 days as all tests were negative, it then delayed my period by 6 days! So will have to be patient and wait for a positive test in future.

@SouthwestSis there's no excitement at all anymore with a positive test. Just dread and worry, not a nice experience at all.

Well Gynae rang me today - will be seeing them in 6 - 8 weeks
Re cysts and right ovary

Have hosp tomo 4 hosp only bloods

Hosp next tues next week 4 a liver fibro scan

Awaiting appt 4 'near future - read jan or feb colonoscopy with CAP

Hopefully we can try and concieve from march 2024

Im back on 5mg folic acid now

And guna try and get some progesterone checks jan - feb - / march

Hopefully we will convince quite fast like did last autumn
And hopefully wont be another miscarriage

@SouthwestSis so so true.... After the mcs positive pregnancy test doesn't feel the same. It should be a moment of excitement but instead it's like oh no is this another mc. It sucks that we became so jaded. I didn't get to breathe till week 20 with my son when I finally accepted that I may actually be having a baby and now week 17 and I'm still like cautious allot being excited. I hope this wasn't the case for us. Hope 2024 is your year! When are you due for your period? I could never wait till 11dpo lmaooo

@RoseH36 yea that's the only annoying thing delaying your period ir meant mine was delayed to Christmas Day 😂 don't think Il bother this time round it just a waste of progesterone 🙈

I have slightly longer than usual cycles and they can be a bit irregular but period is due around Thursday.
No physical signs that it's on its way yet but husband has noticed I've been a bit emotional, but nothing new there!

I feel that we need to really crack on because I'm 39. I don't know where the time went! Anyway, hoping we'll all get our 2024 BFPs soon!
