Missed period.

Hi everyone. New hear so please bare with.

So my last period was 22nd August and I have a cycle of 32/33 days. According to my app I should have ovulated on the 10th Sept. I should have come on on Monday 24th but no sign at all. I took a FRER test on Monday and BFN and also on Tuesday with FMU and the same result. I'm having dull cramping and feeling heavy but it isn't continuously just every now and again through the day. Also feeling really tired. Other than that I have no other symptoms and today would make me 16dpo. Has anyone ever got a BFN and gone onto having your BFP at this late stage? I'm clinging onto a little bit of hope until AF arrives but I'm just unsure what's going on 🤷‍♀️

@zazu sorry I don't have any advice, but I'm following as I'm in the exact same position, with the same dates x

@cupcakesandglitter thanks for your reply. It's good to hear I'm not alone. It's so frustrating, I just want AF to show up or get my BFP. I hate the not knowing 👎

@zazu I agree 😩 I don't think I'd be as disappointed if AF was here, it's better than nothing!! Hope you get your BFP soon xx

I'm in exactly the same situation with very similar dates too. I think I'm becoming a bit obsessive with the HPT which are all showing negative (I've done 4 so far).

@Melissa1983 same here 😩 blood test last night showed negative too but AF still isn't here and I know I ovulated three weeks ago...

You have EXACTLY the same dates and cycle length as me. I really feel your pain. I’m currently late, two BFNs so guessing not pregnant but the waiting is awful. Been trying to conceive for 6 months and all I seem to hear are stories of how easy it was for other couples, and how it happened in the first month. :/
How are you all feeling?
I’ve got a heavy aching type cramps, lots of white and now watery CM (apologies, gross), have been going for a wee every half an hour and am so hungry. Non of these are PMS symptoms I usually have so so confused.
Any mums out there had BFNs that turned into BFPs? X

I'm going crazy! I have more tests but don't know when to do another. I'm not sure about ovulation as I am going by an app at the moment which I'm not sure how accurate it is. Me and my fiancé haven't used protection for a few years but haven't actively been trying, he has a low sperm count and I'm 35 so I don't it's going to be that easy but we DTD around ovulation (according to the app) and I also had some spotting which I've NEVER had also around ovulation no here I am waiting for AF secretly hoping I will get the BFP even my fiancé is super excited and keeps buying tests. Symptoms period cramps coming and going a have huge appetite and I'm super tired!

I've done a FRER this morning and still a BFN so according to my app I'm 23dpo and period is 9 days late. I'm not stressed so don't know why this would be happening. Now I'm scared it's early menopause and I'll never be able to have children 😩

Ah sorry to have found you ladies, unfortunately I'm in the same boat.

CD42 - normally get period CD30 so about 12 days late now.
Three BFNs.

Have strange cramps / twinges, like period coming but also had similar when was pregnant (but miscarried) previously.

Have been concerned things not quite right since I miscarried in January so think I might have to go to the doctor if nothing happens by early next week.

I am in the same position as you ladies!! I just did an early detection test in Morrisons, bfn!! I was convinced as I am late and ovulated over two weeks ago.
I'm worried it could be early menopause too, I'm 37?!

Ah @Melissa1983 don't be silly, it is horrible but we're all in the same position so don't automatically think menopause xx

@agteacht ah man 😩 I'm only CD37 so you're a bit ahead of me but I'm getting BFNs too 😩 fx BFP/AF arrive before next week so you don't have to visit the doc xx

@iris81 sorry I've only just seen your post - I used a Morrison's test too because I heard good things, but nothing 😩

@agteacht oh god yeah, I'd rather just have AF than nothing so at least I know what's going on. I hate being in limbo! X

@cupcakesandglitter No update really. Same same. No AF, just hungry and weeing a lot.

Still no sign of AF either?? At this point I’d rather it just arrive than this dragged out waiting game.

@cupcakesandglitter I shouldn't think the worst but my mum was 38 when her menopause arrived so now I'm petrified as I have no children.

What tests do you ladies recommend? I've been using Tesco own and FRER.

I'm glad I'm not on my own with this one though and we can share our experiences. I have looked on so many forums where people have the same symptoms and then they never update what actually happened.

Same here @Melissa1983 I hate not knowing whether they got their BFPs or not 😂 have you spoken to a GP before? X

Also I've not had a BFP before but I've used Morrison's tests (read good things about those) and I have FRERs too x

@Melissa1983 I'm worried about that too. Both my mum and gran had hysterectomies in their 30's for medical reasons so I've no idea when either of them would have naturally gone through it. Wonder if there's any tests that can give some idea when we should expect it?
It was a clear blue early detection one I used today- still a bfn!! X

I'm in the same position too. Hope you don't mind me joking you. I have no idea what all of the acronyms mean so sorry if I don't follow suit.

My last period was 17th August, so I'm on day 43 of my cycle now; 15 days late according to my app. My app predicts I would have ovulated 21 days ago and we DTD the day before and day after predicted ovulation.

Negative test this morning and feel deflated.

Intrigued to hear if anybody has had negatives at this point and gone on to have a positive.

@iris81 I don't have any symptoms whatsoever now 😩 I keep feeling like she's coming but literally nothing 😩 it's very annoying isn't it!!

Hey @TokenGinger sorry you're in the same position too :( there are quite a few threads on different sites where women have gone through it and got BFPs (but there's also quite a few where they never update and say whether AF/BFP came)

I know that I ovulated on the 9th, so I don't know what's going on 😩 I've been doing OPKs for a few days, todays was definitely a bit darker. I know they aren't positive but it's more colour than before... don't know what's going on 😭😭

Fingers crossed for a BFP for us all.

How do the OPKs work? I've just bought a full pack of them to try it for next month but I can't make head nor tail of the instructions. If you get a line, does that mean you're ovulating? X

Ooff it’s a hard one but fingers crossed for you. I Was due on the 4th of September and missed my period, and had negatives throughout. Only yesterday the 27th I got a faint positive! But when I rang the doctors they said to wait a week because it might be a blip from ovulation! Disheartened but hopefully fingers crossed good luck

@Daisynner ooh fingers crossed for you!! Please tell us all your dates? That's giving me some hope! X
