Missed period.

Hi everyone. New hear so please bare with.

So my last period was 22nd August and I have a cycle of 32/33 days. According to my app I should have ovulated on the 10th Sept. I should have come on on Monday 24th but no sign at all. I took a FRER test on Monday and BFN and also on Tuesday with FMU and the same result. I'm having dull cramping and feeling heavy but it isn't continuously just every now and again through the day. Also feeling really tired. Other than that I have no other symptoms and today would make me 16dpo. Has anyone ever got a BFN and gone onto having your BFP at this late stage? I'm clinging onto a little bit of hope until AF arrives but I'm just unsure what's going on 🤷‍♀️

@iris81 can you see a faint line in the picture there? Reluctant to buy another due to disappointment. I'm ok just a little deflated and still haven't solved the am I arnt I situation. How are you?

@iris81 I’m currently experiencing slight cramps but they come and go but I’ve had a lot of wind and the pains seem to go when I pass it (tmi again), also got this funny smell/taste going on I can’t explain. I want to go to the gp but I’m afraid they’ll just tell me to wait the 2 weeks and see if I miss a second period! I haven’t experienced any spotting whatsoever, unlike you, have you tested in case it may not be AF?! Xx

@iris81 sorry just saw you had tested already, it’s a mare keeping up with these comments haha! I think if AF doesn’t arrive by Monday next week I’ll be seeing my GP, don’t think I can manage a second week wondering what’s going on, I’ve had late periods before but never a missed one like this! Xx

Now I'm even more confused about yesturday test...today extremely tired, almost fell asleep at work I'm now 13days late. Is this a sign? I don't even know what to think

Hi ladies. How is everyone? As confused as me it seems lol. So that "period" I had was just 3 days of spotting. I'd say 97% brown spotting and discharge and 3% bleed. I've never had this! This was from Thursday til Saturday. No cramps or anything that I'll normally get. Me and bf did the deed yesterday and after when I wipe there was a very pale red blood. I've never bled after sex before but that happened to me two days before by AF was expected to come. I was due on 24th Sept and dtd two days before that and that's when I had a slight bleed after. I thought that was my AF coming but the spotting I just had was 10 days after that. I'm now getting brown discharge again. Nothing too much but still there. I'm so confused!

@Bethy1995 I think I can see the faintest of lines. Tiredness is a sign. I'm hyper aware of everything at the minute and think everything is a sign ha. Others have recommended first responses test first thing in the morning. I keep getting impatient and testing in the afternoon though!

@zazu yes sounds similar to me, still also confused and frustrated!!

@iris81 every time I look I think that too but can't be sure. Bless you, the one I did was frer but token ginger has recommended the cb digi.

This has happened to me too but I'm 41 so I worry that it's the menopause. Had a similar experience last year when af came on day 47 then everything went back to normal again. I hope this will happen again as I am now on day 40 and no news .. I've done 2 Tesco tests and both negative it's v frustrating.

I've spent so much money on tests this month and all different types of tests also. I don't wanna be spending anymore on them. I spent 3 or so quid on eBay cheapies and that's what I'll be using from now on. It's strange cos I'm still having slight cramping. If what I had was in fact a period then it finished on Saturday so I shouldn't be cramping?? If I was late last cycle will it go back to normal this cycle? According to my app I will ovulate around the 23rd due to my late period. But if my cycle will return to normal then I should ovulate around the 10th. Or is that not how it works?? So confused. If my cycle does go back to normal I should be due AF on 26th. If it goes on my usual 33 day cycle and since my late "period" I should be due AF on 6th Nov 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

So AF showed her face for me today exactly 2 weeks late what the hell is going on with my cycle?!

Still no AF for me.. I did a test yesterday and it was negative so I’ve got no idea what to do! rang docs today and they told me to call back tomorrow morning for an appt but I don’t want to waste their time!
At the minute my boobs are huge yet not sore, I’ve got a runny nose and slight cough but I had a cold last week so it’s just the remnants of that, I’m SO rundown and I feel like I’m biting everyone’s head off over anything!
Just want to know what’s going on now it’s draining trying to figure it out!

@Hmm123 nothing here too! Had a negative urine test at the docs though so I guess I’ve just missed a period🤷🏽‍♀️ Due back on in about a week so I guess we’ll see what happens
