Missed period.

Hi everyone. New hear so please bare with.

So my last period was 22nd August and I have a cycle of 32/33 days. According to my app I should have ovulated on the 10th Sept. I should have come on on Monday 24th but no sign at all. I took a FRER test on Monday and BFN and also on Tuesday with FMU and the same result. I'm having dull cramping and feeling heavy but it isn't continuously just every now and again through the day. Also feeling really tired. Other than that I have no other symptoms and today would make me 16dpo. Has anyone ever got a BFN and gone onto having your BFP at this late stage? I'm clinging onto a little bit of hope until AF arrives but I'm just unsure what's going on 🤷‍♀️

Hi ladies, thanks for sharing your stories. I was due my period last wed so now almost 6 days late with that tiredness that can only be described as pregnancy tiredness and some cramping and the odd wave of nausea. I didn't get my bfp with my dd until I had missed my period by 10 days so expecting something similar this time. Doesn't make it any easier waiting. Good luck to you all for your bfp's very soon xx

Little update. Still no AF, 7 days late and as the day goes by I'm going to assume soon to be 8 days. I've got light cramping still and today I had this strange burning feeling in my stomach but that could have been a bit of indigestion 🤷‍♀️ today when wiping I feel like I saw a slight slight tinge of brown on the tissue so I have a feeling AF is banging on the door. I haven't tested since Friday so I'm going to give it a couple of days and see if the spotting I saw turns into full AF. If not I'm going to test again, probably Wednesday. Fingers crossed for all looking to get that glowing bfp and congratulations again to those who have (not at all jealous 😂) xx

Hi zazu, I feel for you I really do. It's so unfair when lots of people get their bfp on the day their periods are due :-). I'm 6 days late now. Sending bfp dust to you. Xx

@BLS1983 it's so frustrating isn't it? I just want to be able to move on. I never anticipated my cycle to be this long, as if the tww isn't long enough eh 🙄 fingers crossed for you x

Indeed! Day 42 for me tomorrow. I'm sure we'll get the news we are after before too long. Try to thing of other things in the meantime x

Still a BFN for me this morning. I'm now on CD43 and 11days late. Going to wait again until Thursday before testing again. Had a really bad headache yesterday and have been bloated with constipation for about 5 days but they are my only symptoms.

I had a small amount of 'red/brown' watery spotting yesterday and thought AF would come... woke up and nothing once again. Going to leave it a couple of days again and see if she comes 😩 x

@cupcakesandglitter when was the last time you tested? I really can't cope with this waiting it's driving crazy. But with the amount of tests I was going through I could have probably bought a pushchair 😂.

@Melissa1983 😂😂 same here! I tested on Sat or Sunday I think it was, in the evening after my positive OPK. 100% negative though, like all of them 😂 I also seem to have this ability to be able to imagine a line where I know it should be? I never knew TTC would be this much pressure! X

@wildcatseverywhere I have EXACTLY the same symptoms as you.i was due on yesterday. Did a test and negative. I've had very light cramping. Let me know if you get a bfp coz I'm gonna go mad. I just want to know

@Starry1234 I changed my username but still no BFP. Kicked off the morning with a BFN and my cramping seems to have stopped so I'm not too sure what to think. I've not got any tests in the house now so that should stop me obsessively POAS :)

I'm tempted to buy the Clear Blue Fertility monitor. I know it's expensive but It seems to have ok reviews.

Anyone else got one? Or thought about it?

@celinelaurent I've had light cramping again today but nothing else. Usually I have the brown dischrge when I'm about to see af. But even with my period at beginning of month I had no cramps and no blood so to speak. I'm going to resist buying any more tests now.

Hi ladies, still no af, 2 bpns yesturday at different times of the day BUT today my breasts are burning and nipples really sensitive and a tad sore shall I test again in a few days or take the negative as a negative?

All this malarkey is so confusing...especially given the missed period now 6 days late.

@cupcakesandglitter I thought I saw a super faint line on Sunday but then thought i must be going mad then my fiancé seen it on the side and said I think there is a faint line but only a BFN since.

I don't seem to be getting any cramping anymore but my stomach seems to be very hungry just growling at me before I would usually eat. I will see what Thursdays test brings and will book see Dr next week xxx

Still waiting around. Every day I say to myself yes this is the day that AF is going to arrive as it feels like it. I wake up and nothing!! My last test was Friday so I think after work I'm going to pick up one from Superdrug. I heard their own brand ones are pretty good. We'll see though 🤞🤷‍♀️

I hope you're all doing okay. I got my BFP on Sunday with a CB. Since then, I've tried for a reassurance test with the FirstVue ones I had from the £ shop - both negative. So that's 3 negative tests by FirstVue this weekend. I thought I was beginning to imagine it had said pregnant so I got another CB today and tested positive at 1-2 weeks again.

I just wanted to share with you in case those getting BFNs are also using cheap tests like I was. It may be worth the investment in a CB or FRER for the early sensitivity side of it.

Hi ladies, I think AF is here for me. A hell of a lot lighter than usual (I'm usually SUPER heavy) and still watery when I wipe but I think she's here so I'm out for this month 😩 considering going to the doctor to see why my cycles are so whacky x

@TokenGinger I bought a heap of the Poundland ones - some of them didn't even work at all! I've got loads of completely blank ones in the bin, such a waste! X

Aaaaand I've just wiped and it's now pink and my pad was pretty much clear. Anyone had anything like this before? 😂

So I just did a Superdrug test and BFN obviously 🙄🙄 so that's 8 days late for me. I'm getting so fed up now and passed the stage of feeling disappointed cos I expect it now 🤷‍♀️ I just feel like my body is laughing at me.

Ah @zazu I'm with you ❤️ doesn't help that there's so many threads though where this has happened to ladies and they ended up being pregnant but finding out weeks later either!!

@cupcakesandglitter it's such a pain right!? Every day I feel like AF is going to come and it doesn't. This has never happened to me. My cycle is usually 32/33 days, it's now 42. I'm still dtd as I'm worrying that I'm ovulating late and this will explain the late period because I'm clearly not pregnant 🙄. I dtd on the 22nd and I was due on the 23/24 and after there was slight very light red blood when I wiped. This was me thinking that my period would come full force the next day like normal and nothing. Could that have been implantation bleed? Or I just went too right with the sex 😂 but I've had nothing since. One of us at least needs to get a happy result right? X

Looks like AF is arriving for me too. So strange, I wiped and it's was ten faintest but if pink about an hour ago and now nothing again. Although I'm disappointed I'm kind of pleased in one way as I know where I am x

Well AF arrived. Sort of relieved and can now take some painkillers for this horrendous headache I've had all day. Onto the next cycle 😀
