Missed period.

Hi everyone. New hear so please bare with.

So my last period was 22nd August and I have a cycle of 32/33 days. According to my app I should have ovulated on the 10th Sept. I should have come on on Monday 24th but no sign at all. I took a FRER test on Monday and BFN and also on Tuesday with FMU and the same result. I'm having dull cramping and feeling heavy but it isn't continuously just every now and again through the day. Also feeling really tired. Other than that I have no other symptoms and today would make me 16dpo. Has anyone ever got a BFN and gone onto having your BFP at this late stage? I'm clinging onto a little bit of hope until AF arrives but I'm just unsure what's going on 🤷‍♀️

I didnt get my bfp this month until CD 39 which would be 21DPO i had negatives on 14-16 dpo so just gave up! When my period didnt show i tested again and got a postive!

Sorry ladies I'm just so confused - I did an OPK an hour ago and I've attached the pic below - I'd say this is a positive?

@cupcakesandglitter I had a really weird cycle. Im pretty sure i had a chemical pregnancy the month before as i got a positive on a first response but never on a CB digi then started bleeding 4 days later. So my period started on 18/08 and was normal 5-6 days. Then according to my app i should have ovulated on the 5th (I have roughly 32-34 day cycles) but on that morning i woke up to spotting! it lasted around 5 days but never went through to underwear just occasionally when wiping and was brown, pink and red but only on the toilet paper and very small amounts. I was then due on 19th (14dpo according to app) and took multiple tests before and around 2-3 days after up to 16dpo. Got fed up and gave up. Went to poundland on 21 dpo and got a faint positive and confirmed with a first response and CB digi on 22 dpo. so i have no idea if im 6 weeks or if the spotting was a period and im actually only 3 weeks. I have no idea! fingers are crossed for you! hopefully you get your BFP soon!

Cupcakes I think a positive opk can signal pregnancy, you should do another pregnancy test?

What symptoms did/does everybody have whilst waiting to get thier BFP/those who have already gotten it?

@agteacht I've just done a FRER, I thought I could see the faintest line in the world, but I've sat with DH and tried everything but we both think because I've seen so many I can almost imagine where the line should be if that makes sense? Not fmu of course but I wiped too and brown watery stuff on the paper so I think it's AF for me x

Cupcakes, I don't know but I think the OPK is a great sign and if I were you I would test again tomorrow x

@agteacht I think I'm gonna see if AF arrives tomorrow, and then if not I'll test on Tuesday morning xx

I'm not sure if this will help but I get this quite often, I've gone 8 weeks over, I know I'm not pregnant because he had the snip, so I went to the dr as I thought it was menopause, but then everything kicks in and I'm back to 29 day cycles for a few months. If you are wanting to pregnant this won't be that helpful, but it's common in over 40's I was told.

So my last period was the 23rd of August was due to come in again on the 26th/27th September however haven't come on...I occasionally have a few days of spotting BEFORE period but never late, now I'm 3-4 days late.

For the past few days I've been having a dull uncomfortable ache in my lower abdomen, I did have a few days or sore breasts too and also bad headaches on and off and I've been CONSTANTLY hungry.

Can anyone shed any light on this or has similar symptoms and been pregnant?

Wondering whether it's worth getting a test or waiting it out a few more days and saving money.

The symptoms I have had are:

The week before last (which according to CB digital) would be first week of conception, I was exhausted beyond belief. I felt constantly tired. I also came out with a coldsore which only ever happens when I'm really run down.

That same week, I was also ravenous. Could eat anything and everything.

I've come out with really bad, painful spots on my neck/jawline which is unusual for me.

I've had constipation and trapped wind which is apparently a sign of pregnancy.

I came down with a cold which is also very unlike me.

I had what felt like period pains for one day then spotting just once when I wiped myself.

I think I'm finally at the stage now where I'm relaxing a bit more and just letting my body do its thing - flo has updated and is saying my period is likely to start in 15 days? 😂 This morning I've had a bit of darker brown stuff on my pad, but no red as of yet. Just going to take every day as it comes 🤷🏻‍♀️ x

This morning I did this, I don't know if there's a faint line or not, also had some brown blood when wiping? Hopefully today at will decide whether to come full force or not? 🤷‍♀️

@iris81 I can't see a line, but I'm awful when it comes to them 😂 I don't think phones pick up what they look like in real life anyway! Fx AF doesn't come! Xx

Congratulations @TokenGinger such great news.

My symptoms have been the same but just taken a test and BFN. Now 9 days late so very unlikely I'm pregnant so don't feel so bad for those G&T's I've had on holiday.

I was on day 44 and still had a negative test, positive on day 45 so there is still hope x
