Missed period.

Hi everyone. New hear so please bare with.

So my last period was 22nd August and I have a cycle of 32/33 days. According to my app I should have ovulated on the 10th Sept. I should have come on on Monday 24th but no sign at all. I took a FRER test on Monday and BFN and also on Tuesday with FMU and the same result. I'm having dull cramping and feeling heavy but it isn't continuously just every now and again through the day. Also feeling really tired. Other than that I have no other symptoms and today would make me 16dpo. Has anyone ever got a BFN and gone onto having your BFP at this late stage? I'm clinging onto a little bit of hope until AF arrives but I'm just unsure what's going on 🤷‍♀️

So small update from me - just went to the loo and was gonna do an OPK and had a small spot of super light brown spot on my pad. Dry too and I've not been to the loo in a few hours so it's not from just now. DH checked my cervix and it was clear. Wiped and had a very very small brown/pink watery spot on the tissue. I fear AF may be coming (although I never usually get this beforehand) 😩

@TokenGinger the line has to be the same as the control AT LEAST, so the same darkness thickness etc. I test twice a day, around 2pm and then 9pm or so - I don't drink a huge amount of water as I find it dilutes my wee a bit too much. Twice a day at least with the cheap ones - mine tend to get a little bit darker day by day until I ovulate - hope that helps x

First morning urine

Oh interesting I didn't know you shouldn't use first morning urine for ovulation tests!

I haven't had much success with them so I think I'll buy a cheaper bunch off eBay and use them later in the day in that case.

Tokenginger, we are almost in the same position as I am on day 42 and ovulated about 20 days ago (I believe). I have light cramps pretty consistently but numerous negative pregnancy tests.

I'm going to try to get a doctors appointment for mid week if I can.

I have been pregnant once before (unfortunately miscarried) and tested positive at day 44 but hadn't tested prior so not sure if a positive test is genuinely possible now after a few negatives.

Morning Ladies, does anyone have anymore updates. Still no AF for me and now on day 42. I've decided I'm not going to do anymore tests for a few days as I think the constant BFN is so disappointing.

@cupcakesandglitter I've not seen a gp as we said we've wait until next year to properly try although we do always have unprotected sex i don't do OPKs or follow everything to much as I didn't want to put much pressure on us for now. If AF doesn't show I think I should though 😔

@iris81 if AF doesn't show this week I will go the GP and see what the chances are this potentially being linked to menopause or what the chances are of me having early menopause. As I'm getting older I think I'd be happy with one child just not sure how I'd feel if I couldn't have any.

Fingers crossed we all get those BFP soon!!!

So sorry for the late replies, been super occupied.

So to update everyone still no AF 🤷‍♀️
I'm on cycle day 38 and 6 days late today. No sign at all. Tests still showing BFN as of Friday. Haven't tested since and gonna wait for I'm wasting too much money 🙈. I'm still having slight cramping and strange pin prick type sensations in my stomach below my belly button. Creamy CM and a bit watery. Just got over a cold and a few days of bad headaches and feeling pretty much run down. I'd rather AF just turned up so at least I can move on a start again 🙄

@agteacht sorry for your loss ❤️ the fact that you had a BFP so late does give me a little bit of hope though 😩 in saying that, like @zazu @Melissa1983 I'm going to stop testing as well. I don't have the money to keep funding this POAS business 😂 and every BFN is really hurting me... this is torture

I think you are all right, all this POAS and BFN is getting me nowhere! Just poorer!
I'm going to try to work out when I might ovulate next based on when AF should have come... and just go from there. I've a lot on at work at the moment so might make a doctors appointment for a weeks time. Today is day 43. Fingers crossed for some movement for us all!

@agteacht I'm going to do the same! Hopefully next cycle will be normal 😩 if you don't get a positive OPK or anything then I'd definitely try and book yourself an appointment just to be sure x

So today, I went to get a Clear Blue for peace of mind after getting a negative on a £ shop test yesterday.

I'm CD38 now and still getting that weird yellow/pale brown discharge. 100% certain it's not an infection, no idea what's going on still 😩 I don't have any other symptoms either now so I highly doubt I'm pregnant x

Yep, today is day 45. I tested yesterday and was negative and today a positive! So exciting xx

I've started spotting watery brown stuff... think this is AF telling me she'll be here tomorrow 😔
