Missed period.

Hi everyone. New hear so please bare with.

So my last period was 22nd August and I have a cycle of 32/33 days. According to my app I should have ovulated on the 10th Sept. I should have come on on Monday 24th but no sign at all. I took a FRER test on Monday and BFN and also on Tuesday with FMU and the same result. I'm having dull cramping and feeling heavy but it isn't continuously just every now and again through the day. Also feeling really tired. Other than that I have no other symptoms and today would make me 16dpo. Has anyone ever got a BFN and gone onto having your BFP at this late stage? I'm clinging onto a little bit of hope until AF arrives but I'm just unsure what's going on 🤷‍♀️

Sounds like we are all still in the same boat...

I'm now on cycle day 45, same day as I found out I was pregnant previously. Lots of twinges and cramps. No AF. Tested tonight on a clear blue and an immediate BFN. No doubt at all.

So I just can't be pregnant.
That's fine, just annoying. Wish I had DTD more post the fertile week!!

Was going to go to doctor but go on holiday next Friday and to be honest don't see how I'll fit it in with work etc. So going to keep going, if by some crazy chance I still haven't had AF by the time I return from hols on 24 Oct it's straight to the Doctor with me!!!

Sorry you are all still in the same mysterious place. At least none of us are alone in this. Wishing everyone some updates soon x

I'm brown spotting today so I guess AF is on her merry way 🙄 UNLESS...... I've ovulated late hence late AF and this is in fact implantation bleed 🤷‍♀️ I highly doubt it but a girl can dream eh 😉😁🤞

Hi all, I'm still waiting for af to kick in. I'm same dates as @zazu thought monday was the day, had brown when wiping in the morning. Then bright red yesterday during one loo trip in the morning, then nothing since!!! Would just let me to know what's going on. I'm getting fed up, was actually relieved on Monday when I thought all this confusion was over.
Can't believe there's so many of us in same position, it's weird!! Xx

Well AF isn't in a hurry to actually flow. Starting spotting yesterday and today but nothing on my pads is that normal? I couldn't be pregnant could I? I have pretty regular periods start off with the brown spotting and within about 12 hours it's the normal flow but this has been going on since about 4 o clock yesterday!

I deffo think this is AF. Brown spotting now has slight spots of red and I have that heavy feeling down there that I normally get with AF. 43 day cycle, I had a good run I guess 🙄🤷‍♀️. On to the next one 👍

Hi ladies, I'm still following this thread and holding out hope for those whose AF hasn't arrived yet.

Last Tuesday (day 40) I had some slight bleeding which I assumed was AF. Only very slight and for the one day. Then got my BFP on Sunday (day 45). Xx

@iris81 it is weird, I think we hear so much about the typical cycle with AF having perfect timing etc etc but actually I don't think what we're going through is that abnormal at all x

I had nothing over night at all and nothing so far and I've been up for a few hours. Im gonna hazard a guess and say AF has stopped now? I'll wait a few hours and see, but a two day period means my cycles really have messed up x

@cupcakesandglitter A two day cycle is really bizarre! How weird.

I'm doing great, thank you. I had a panic on Monday when my cheap test wouldn't pick up a positive - tried twice. One didn't give a result and one gave negative. So on Tuesday I did another CB and it showed at 1-2 weeks again so I must just be very early and it won't show on lower sensitivity tests.

The only real symptom right now is extreme tiredness. I'm struggling to get through work but feel like a bit of a fraud because it's like something the size of a grain of rice making me tired haha. No sickness or anything yet which is a blessing!

First midwife appointment is 30th October. They're doing it at 6-7 weeks as my period was now 7 weeks ago and whilst CB is mostly accurate, they said they'll do it a week earlier just in case xx

Hello lovely ladies, can I join in the wondering?! I'm 38 and have two DC age 6 and 4. We're not TTC but AF has gone AWOL! Last AF was 19th August and I'm usually a regular 28 day cycle! I've had 4 BFN on home tests and a BFN on a blood test at the docs last week. I've gained nearly half a stone in weight in the last month and feel extremely bloated, v sore boobs, cramping on and off, insomnia and so tired and irritable. Just fed up of the waiting and uncertainty! We would be happy with a DC3 (although we've cleared out all of the baby stuff!!) but at the moment I would just like to know what's going on. Doc said they wouldn't start any investigations for another couple of weeks if AF still absent...

PS just worked out I'm CD 47 today...I had a bit of pink when I wiped on either CD 34 or 37 (I hadn't been paying much attention to my cycle at this point so just thought 'oh that's odd' but didn't make a mental note of it properly at the time!)

This spotting is very very light and doesn't even require a pad. It's just there when I wipe. This is strange for me as after a day of spotting it's full force. Hoping to get away with a very light AF this cycle. I'm rooting for some good news from at least one of you ladies. We all can't be having dodgy cycles 🤣

@cupcakesandglitter @zazu I've got nothing today, it should def have started now after what I had on Monday and Tuesday.
I am 9 days overdue af. Last test Monday morning bfn. Don't know what to do now, carry on as normal and wait? Go get another test even though I've spent a fortune on them already? Argh!!!

@iris81 when we were TTC for our DC I used to order a pack of internet cheapy tests so I could test as often as I liked without feeling I was spending a fortune and then use a digi to confirm if I got a positive result (one that gave the no. of weeks on it). We only DTD once since my last AF (which may have coincided with Ov but we used protection so it would be unlikely to have resulted in anything but it only takes one sneaky one to get through somehow lol!! I may order to more cheapies though as it's so unusual for my cycle to do this!

AF has 100% finished for me I think so one more cycle and then I'm going to the GP. So pissed off today - my body has been so regular, and as soon as I start TTC it messes up for no reason 🤬

@iris81 (sorry in advance for the backstory) so I had the implant out in August last year, and my cycles didn't settle until March this year. They've been around 30 days UNTIL last cycle (our first TTC) where AF arrived on CD24 😂 it was out of the blue, and the most painful one I've ever had. I spoke to the GP and he didn't really say much but I thought maybe it might be an odd cycle.... until this cycle 😭
