I'm in denial that I'm this close. I don't want to test. There are none in the house. I'm waiting it out the old fashioned way. Boobs are defo sore and I don't normally get that with af but otherwise I do feel like she's on her way. We'll see!

Cakes that sounds promising! Any new symptom can be an indication of pregnancy (unless you're me, in which case I get completely different symptoms every month and still no BFP 🙄)

Currently experiencing the worst af cramps and symptoms ever...whilst of course holding out for a miracle!!

Thanks so much for all the love I'm actually still in shock. Not going to lie I'm a bit petrified 😭 Just cause of what happened last time but I'm remaining positive. Going to take it easy.

DP was so funny - we came back from hol & I said ok I'm going round to chemist to get some tests - ran upstairs to toilet and he was in bedroom so I'm unwrapping and about to POAS and he was trying to come in 😂😂 I was like get out!!! He pure waited outside the door bless - I opened it and I'm like so what so u think and he's like by the big smile on your face I take it it's good news haha!!! He was over the moon too. Both just so apprehensive!

Ha ha @moo I know 😨 I would never ever held out as long if I was home.

This cycle I totally relaxed remember I was pure not well in my bed for a week and off work (iv heard loads of stories about people getting upduffed after being not well actually) ALSO I was overdosing probably on cough medicine - iv read on another thread that people take it to help thin their CM - and honestly I remember the night I know I ovulated cause I honestly felt like I had peed myself 😐😧 so I don't know if it was to do with that or not!!

Amanda I also love that it happened for you on the cycle that you weren't really trying, definitely proves the point that it will happen when it's meant to, and as long as we keep DTD then that's all we can do to help it along really!

@cakes & @ Archies I know like I do believe something's must help but with the knowledge of how easy some folk fall pregnant "missing one pill" "having sex once" I always just believe when it's ur time it's ur time.

What are your thoughts on downs screening ladies? You'll have already either had it or not moo and ohb....
I ended up opting for it after we discussed it, but at the end of the day, it really didn't matter to us. Had the results today and came back low risk anyway but I felt it created an unnecessary worry for us in the two week wait.... why the fuck is everything long and torturous, a TWW?! Lol!

Dolly we had the downs test with DS, but we were young and a bit scared and took everything offered to us!! I think I'd have it again next time around, but like you said, it honestly wouldn't change anything if it did come back as high risk. When you've got that precious baby in your arms, I don't think anything could make you love them any less/differently, no matter what 😊

Don't know if my shortlived BFP is/was counted in the stats and that's the one missing? Soon to be replaced by a sticky bean worth holding on to....

Also talking about PG symptoms I remember someone who got a BFP recently said about their pee smelling lol - this totally happened to me! I actually done a pee and DP was bursting pure barged in and he's like ur pee stinks ( ha sorry TMI )

@Dolly I haven't been offered it? No one has mentioned it? I would need to discuss with oh but as you both said it wouldn't change anything anyway so is it worth 2 weeks of worry? As if this time isn't worrying enough! I'm seeing community midwife in 2 weeks so I'll maybe mention to her then (unless that's too late - does it need to be done by a certain time?)
