So in the absence of our lovely founder Hippy, I've set up thread #6 to help us keep up the motivation and PMA.

Congratulations to all our grads, the rest of us may be slacking behind but we'll be there soon!

@Amanda I did join a November babies one but I really didn't like it so I only stayed on for a week and then unfollowed! The one I am on is 'first time pregnancy' - I am not loving it either tbh! I just love my wee cocoon here :)

Sophsta · 20/05/2017 17:17

Amanda I find the January babies one too big. I go on and lurk but can't keep up!

sarahboro1 · 20/05/2017 17:25

Thanks Archies!! I literally have everything crossed still!!! Xx

AmandaP86x · 20/05/2017 20:33

Same @sophsta and some people r ducking mental and just making me worry more haha

I am just crampy it's starting to really freak me out haha but it's not sore I can just feel something lol

Dollydaydream2829 · 20/05/2017 21:09

Congratulations on the scan bella - it's an amazing feeling seeing your baby for the first time! Hopefully you can relax and enjoy the rest of your fairly symptom free first trimester, you lucky duck!

amanda & sophsta - I had to come off the pregnancy boards as I made myself ill with worry over things I hadn't even thought to be worried about just cos other mums to be had brought it up! Also felt there was a bit of competition between everyone- who had their scans first/first appointments/biggest bump etc.... I stuck to my little PMA bubble.

Sorry to hear about your BFN sarah - you're still fairly early and it's amazing what a couple of days can do so you're right to keep your PMA and FX it comes good for you!

Archies & Magpie - I have every positive thought possible coming your way for your positive cycles!!

AmandaP86x · 20/05/2017 22:19

@dolly I am totally not enjoying the other thread.

I have had these dull cramps iv googled and googled and everyone is like it's normal. I might just phone EPU on Monday I can't deal with this anxiety. I don't know if my anxiety is making it worse tbh. 😭

Moo31 · 20/05/2017 22:26

@Amanda I had quite bad period type pains and cramps from weeks 6 to 8 (never really got period pains before or if I did it was very brief). Your placenta is forming and everything is growing and stretching. I did lots of reading up on it too as it's unsettling but read that if it's not severe pain then it's normal. You should see someone though if it would put your mind at ease. Xo

AmandaP86x · 20/05/2017 22:51

Thanks @moo honestly it's terrible I'm getting myself so worked up it's not even normal lol

Moo31 · 20/05/2017 22:59

@Amanda I was exactly the same. Worrying and anxious and nervous about e everything. I think it's normal and especially after your previous loss it's to be expected. People keep saying to me "enjoy it" - it's so hard but they have been here before and likely wish they hadn't worried as much and had enjoyed it more!

Ohb0llocks · 20/05/2017 23:02

@AmandaP86x I was the same so I got an early reassurance scan. I'm still nervous now and I'm almost 15 weeks! I don't think the worry ever goes!

Dollydaydream2829 · 20/05/2017 23:04

Yeah, like moo says, it's unfortunately so very normal for women to worry through the whole pregnancy first trimester. And coupled with your previous loss and because like me, you'll see a lot of the worst pregnancy related problems in your work, it'll be near on impossible for you to completely relax. It's so important to keep positive for now though - you're growing a human! And it's definitely a normal sign to get pains etc. However unnerving it is! Are you going to book an early scan?

AmandaP86x · 21/05/2017 06:29

I kno I keep trying to reassure myself 😂 That's the thing @dolly my work place doesn't help either!!!

I'm not ashamed to say I took a test this morning 😂😭 but the line was much darker than last weeks and much darker than the control line - oddly given me weird reassurance.

Anyway according to my Fitbit iv had 4 hours sleep 😭 I'm heading to work aswell 😭 My mind just won't stop racing!!!

I was going to get an early scan but I keep going no just ride it out etc etc my consultant did say I could phone EPU and get a reassurance scan & I obviously know the girls who work there so would be nice but see vause I had a MMC at 9 weeks like I don't think I would be "reassured" (ever lol) but anytime before that! 😂 My head is mush hahaha

AmandaP86x · 21/05/2017 06:29

Thanks for all your reassuring words though girls ❤️❤️❤️❤️

AmandaP86x · 21/05/2017 08:29

Ok so now I'm having a freak out - what line is the one that detects the HCG? Cause now I'm wondering if it was that line that was lighter 😭

The one closest to where u pee was darker...

BellaMoon · 21/05/2017 09:30

morning ladies. wow yday i managed to clock up a cumulative 14hrs sleep! i wasn't kidding when i said i was missing out on life due to snoozing!

@AmandaP86x the anxiety is, unfortunately, something i didn't account for. i had cramps for the first week and i worried about them. then when they eased up i worried because i didn't have them. i even worried cos i didn't have morning sickness (i was almost wishing it upon myself)! it's been 1 thing after another and although the sleeping is far better than spewing, i honestly never feel rested. even now iv woken up from a marathon sleep and i'm feeling like i could nap at any time. just another thing to worry about!

i was never a worry wort before, i was far too practical and logical to fully worry about anything. that all changed as soon as the pink line appeared! i'm 8+6, have had a reassurance scan and i still did a PG test this morning! think iv done over 30 since the BFP. i don't recognise myself anymore lol #bella #bella #whothefuckisbella

hope everything settles down for you soon chic. if all else fails, come hang about with me and try catch my sleepy sickness 😴

who's next to POAS ladies? i stupidly didn't screenshot the last list #soz

also, just a quick question for any grads - iv now missed two periods. and right around when they would have been due iv had creamy cm. i'm assuming this is fine so haven't googled (as this would have no doubt resulted in some sort of terminal prognosis). anyone else had this? heard of this? #sharingiscaring #TMIsorry

BellaMoon · 21/05/2017 09:31

@AmandaP86x i think different tests have their control and result line in different places. which test are you doing? x

Sophsta · 21/05/2017 09:36

Amanda that line sounds right to me. My advice to you is to step away from the tests! If you're not in pain and you're not bleeding assume everything is OK. I know that is easier said than done. I would also keep back from the January board. I didn't realise how anxious I was until I went on there.

Bella with you on the sleep. I've slept for at least 12 hours in the past 24. I have NEVER been this tired without having pulled an all nighter. Not sure about the cm. Sometimes I have it and sometimes I don't.

Dollydaydream2829 · 21/05/2017 09:47

bella - I've also had major tiredness!! I've never been one to nap during the day but on the shifts where I'm up at 5am after only finishing at 9pm the night before, I have an hour nap and then go on to sleep like a baby all night! I'm loving that my sickness seems to be no more but I'm still struggling with tiredness. Are you the same moo & ohb??

When my periods had been due in my first trimester, I realised that was when I was mostly getting my spotting! I think it was breakthrough bleeding?? I've had creamy CM ( and bloody lots of it ) all the way through, sorry for TMI!

On the topic of TMI... I've only had sex twice with my poor DH in 10 weeks! We never tried again after the last time cos I bled and I panicked and now we both have the fear. Anyone else the same?! I need to get back on the horse otherwise I'm worried it's gonna close up 🙈🙈 #sexysundaychat #sorryguys

Ohb0llocks · 21/05/2017 10:09

Yes @Dollydaydream2829 I could actually sleep forever!

BellaMoon · 21/05/2017 10:12

hi 5 to @Dollydaydream2829 and @Sophsta we are the sleepy sisters !

i'm with you on the sexytime front too @Dollydaydream2829 ! we've had actual sex once in 5 weeks 🙈 was terrified to do it! have had a bit of foreplay here or there but the fear of sex took over us both. just had a chat with DH about this as we both think it's silly but also both scared. is there not supposed to be a horny phase coming up? he actually said he misses SMEP, made me chuckle cos he moaned about it at the time lol x
