So in the absence of our lovely founder Hippy, I've set up thread #6 to help us keep up the motivation and PMA.

Congratulations to all our grads, the rest of us may be slacking behind but we'll be there soon!

ThAnks archies 😘
I'm pleased you've made peace with your situation and you're sooo right, it's not a race at all and we will all get there.
I'm sorry to hear your getting af signs already. I've got the worse cramps right now ... like it's not bad enough having af ... its so annoying that she makes her presence so well known. Just taken some paracetamol so it's starting to ease up. Does anyone else get painful twinge type cramps on cd1? I'm just wondering why they're so painful 😖 Is this normal?

Hippy sorry I read your message the other day and my phone died as I was replying and totally forgot to come back on a finish it.

Sorry your suffering with bad cramps 😘 it totally varies for me. Some months I have cramping the week before AF, then hardly anything when she's here. And then other months I can have nothing in the lead up but then the most horrendous pains when she finally arrives. Which is why I hate the tww, I convince myself I'm preggers every month because of the varying symptoms 🙈

Thanks for coming back to me archies it's much appreciated.
I spoke with my acupuncturist and he reckons it's because I've been building up more blood which is a good thing but because I'm a cold type my bloods doesn't circulate as well so the cramps are brought on by the fact that a large volume of blood is trying to get out all at once which kind of makes sense. I'm actually delighted because my periods have been getting a lot heavier and a little bit longer which is great.

Anyway enough about me ... I'm on boring cd5.

How's everyone else doing ?

Oh that's interesting Hippy, and definitely a good thing 😊 I'm 10dpo I think and nothing much to report except for a bit of cramping which is usual at this point in my cycle

Thanks Hippy, bloody twins 🙈😂 I feel like I'm out already this month, had the most horrendous cramps last night (I knew I shouldn't have given up the acupuncture!) and my temperature has been a bit lower the last 2 days x

I would definitely keep up the acupuncture archies if you can although I am mindful it can be expensive and I do understand how annoying it is shelling out on the never never .... my supplements bill this year has been ridiculous and I am getting annoyed with taking lots of pills everyday!

I'm thinking we need to relaunch with a new thread and get some more newbies on here .... what does everyone think?

Too good to be true for me. Had a booking appointment with midwife yesterday. 24hrs later and the bleeding has started.

Oh Chips, no.

Have you gone to A&E? How many weeks are you? You should.

I hope with all my heart it isn't what you fear.

Chipsahoy · 01/10/2017 21:08

I'm almost nine weeks. I spoke to midwife who said they'd not scan me at weekend but I could go to urgent care if it's a lot to.manage. Otherwise to see Gp tomorrow to arrange a scan some time this week. She was reassuring, but I don't like false hope. I'd rather expect the worse, you know?

I'm resting, scared to move, silly really as moving won't change it.

How are you doing magpie? I'm sorry if it brings up painful memories for you. Flowers

So sorry to hear that chips, it's terrifying with bleeds during pregnancy. I hope it's nothing - it may very well be nothing! - but I understand that you want to be prepared for whatever comes. Please insist on a scan tomorrow, you can't possibly be expected to wait for many days. Thinking of you.

Hi all,

I don't know if you remember me, as I only posted a few times on one of the previous threads, but just to say PMA will out in the end...I finally got my BFP (which has stuck around for these past 4 days!) last week and I'm hopeful this may finally be it!

It was cycle 12 of ttc dc2, I had one CP in May and possibly another last month, so didn't really trust the BFP for the first couple of days. We'd just started the ball rolling for fertility investigations, I had my day 21 bloods taken last Monday and DH was gearing up to do a sa this week 🙈. So keep the faith, it WILL happen. Good luck guys. Attached the test at 10dpo and yesterday's digi.

Congratulations curlie. That's lovely news.

Well saw the Gp and earliest they can scan me is Thursday morning. No bleeding today, but I do have brown spotting. It's a waiting game now, I guess.

notparticularlypatient · 02/10/2017 22:01

Chips, I can't believe you have to wait that long for a scan when you've been bleeding. But it's a very good thing that it has settled. I had something similar at 6 and 8 weeks with DD, never found out what it was and in the end all was fine. But the not knowing is clearly the worst. Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed for you and mini-chips.

Curlie thanks for sharing your good news, it really does help to know that it may happen even when it all looks a bit hopeless!

Chipsahoy · 03/10/2017 10:32

Thanks. I decided I cant wait that long so booked a private scan which I'm having today.
Fingers crossed.

Sorry I have been AWOL. So busy atm and was waiting for AF (my first post MC) to vacate the building.

Chips I am so relieved for you. It was def a good sign that the bleeding tailed off and you did right going for a private scan. My EPAC wouldn't scan me when I went to A&E because my dating scan was two weeks away. As if anyone in that situation could wait two weeks?!

How are you feeling now?

Has everyone gone awol on this thread?!

Just checking in to say I am back on the wagon in my 2ww. Not getting hopes up or down or anything - just pleased I got a static smiley and my body is getting back on track after my MC.

Love to all.

Hi magpie - really pleased to hear that your back on track.

I sent you a private message - did you not get it?

With it being just a few of us left - we’ve set up a private Facebook group - you’re more than welcome to join us? If you want to - pm me and I’ll add you in.

If you prefer to stick to the thread - I’m sure we will all check in ... but just not as often as we used too.
