Wait until I'm late. Which will be this time tomorrow. But I have no tests in and cant think when I'll pass a shop tomorrow. Feeling very much like she'll make her late night appearance tonight though. Having a glass of wine to chill me cos I'm finding it very stressful this time, I've normally tested and put myself out of my misery by now!!!

@cakes honestly see the two times I have been pregnant I have had niggles on my ovary in the TWW I remember it so well. I still feel niggly and crampy 😭 I have everything crossed for u!!!! Enjoy the wine xxxxx

@Dollydaydream2829 I had the downs testing, they did it alongside the testing for Edwards and pataus.

A high risk downs result would change absolutely nothing for us however I would like to know, just so we can be prepared and read up as much as possible.

Thanks for the reassurance ladies. I've been pregnant twice before and honestly cannot remember what this bit felt like. Defo had cramps though. Aargh!! Time for sleep and to see what comes along! Lots of love you gorgeous girls xxx

Thanks Archies, the in laws were made up, there were tears and they said its the best news theyve had in a long time. Was so nervous when they arrived, i just couldn't speak normally till DH managed to get it out, i was like stop talking about my blood hanging baskets! I dont know what i planted in them anymore.

I know what you mean Amanda i feel extra pressure now as I really don't want to have to dash their hopes now, they wudve guessed anyway, they already said they had some suspicions just cos I declined one drink before I even knew i was pregnant #imustdrinklikeafish Anyway try and stay positive, it must've been so hard last time but it doesn't mean it will happen again, I just try to keep reminding myself that the odds are in our favour and staying positive is the best thing I can do for me and lefty

ohb, i agree with you about the testing, I think its the type of thing you would want to prepare for! I might have the Harmony/NIPT test privately at around 10 weeks its much more accurate, plus you get to find out the sex #squee!
btw where does everyone stand on the find out or surprise options for babys gender? #idontlikesurprises

Sarah Id say I felt quite good overall before, my cramping was less than normal and no tender boobs or bloating. FX!!!

Ah that's lovely @Roseandbee! So sweet that they were so excited. How could they not be?! And yes, those early days are so nerve wracking. My pregnancy after my mmc was a bit of a blur for the first 12 weeks. I had an early scan because of some bleeding but I don't think I felt safe until the 12 week. And even then was convinced something would be wrong at the 20 week! But the odds really are in your favour for everything to be well and the support is there if you need it. I found out the sex with DD, don't like surprises either!!

And I'm sorry to disappoint ladies. Af arrived bang on time. Feeling very deflated. She definitely crept up on me this time! Kind of glad I've got a mountain of work waiting for me in the office!

I'm so sorry Cakes, I really thought that you were going to be our first BFP on this thread today. for you today xx

I didn't find out the gender with my DS. I wanted a surprise. Was convinced I was having a girl. Then I got so big and he was so late I thought it must be a boy! When he popped out and I held him up to see the gender it was the most exciting thing ever!

So I have had no flashing smileys this month - straight from low to peak. That's only happened once before. Wonder if I had a chemical the month before that one too? Anyway there are doreens in the bank from yday and I have already topped up the supply today! Tmrw and Sat should cover me for this month. FX.

So excited for you Rose. Try to keep the PMA up and flush out the worries. Easier said than done I know.

Great work missmagpie! FX. I do wonder about undetected chemicals or very very early miscarriage too, as I think once your egg is fertilised its still 50/50 wether it will implant. so maybe some months where we have had strange symptoms that was the case.

We are going to view a 3 bed tomorrow. Very excited. It's lovely from the pictures.

Just sat by DS now as he's falling asleep. He has suggested a power rangers bed cover, and a dinosaur bedroom. Wish my life was that simple!

DS doesn't see his dad. Hasn't for almost 2 years. He gets in touch every few months (just to give me shit really). Police have been involved and I have seen an IDVA (he was violent in our relationship and emotionally abusive still to this date). I'll not go into it too much but there's threads on here about it. Solicitors wrote out to him last year saying no contact, and we've heard nothing back. I'm just dreading that court letter. I feel like I can't be happy, like I'm on borrowed time like it's a big black cloud.

Sorry for the depressing rant. Just felt like I needed to get it out.

Sorry that you have to go through that Ohb, he sounds like an utter dick! How old is your DS? Is he old enough to know that his Dad isn't around and isn't very nice?

He's 3, he doesn't remember him. My DP has been around most his life, he's all he really knows.

Well it definitely sounds like he's better off without him Cakes. And you sound like a lovely Mommy who just wants the best for her DS. How exciting that he will have a little brother or sister soon

So I've avoided af today so far! I'm trying to ride a balance of not even getting my hopes up and being optimistic at the same time. I've had the worst af symptoms since Friday mind you and I'm super bloated so I've felt like it could be any minute over the last few days!

Just realised I put Cakes instead of Ohb below 🙈 I blame lack of sleep thanks to a poorly DS 😩 here's hoping for a better nights sleep tonight

You're both right! I think I'm giving it the headspace when I shouldn't be. I'm just worried that when he finds out about the pregnancy, it will prompt him to go to court. Then again his brain doesn't work like mine.

Suppose I shouldn't worry too much based on a what if. It's hard when it's your child you're worried for though isn't it.
