So in the absence of our lovely founder Hippy, I've set up thread #6 to help us keep up the motivation and PMA.

Congratulations to all our grads, the rest of us may be slacking behind but we'll be there soon!

Hi Phase. I'll update the list today Smile here's hoping that the nausea subsides soon. And enjoy your bagel, that sounds amazing!

I wrote a long post earlier and it wouldn't bloody post and I ended up losing it! Hate when that happens....

Sorry to hear about AF arriving cakes - it's so frustrating! It's lovely to see your keeping your PMA and hopefully it will stick with you to bring some luck in cycle 8.

FX loababy - I hope you get your BFP this cycle! Are you gonna test soon??

Sounds like a really right time ohb - you sound in a far better place this time round with your current partner and hopefully your little one won't miss or want for anything with you both around.

Sounds like you've done everything you can magpie - FX this is it!!

Thanks everyone for the screening advice! It's always interesting to gain others opinions of things. Everyone around me now knows about my pregnancy! It's amazing not having to keep it secret anymore but it's going ridiculously fast now..... coming up for 15 weeks already?!?

Thank you @Dolly.

I will buy one tonight and test first thing tomorrow if still a no show. My anxiety is through the roof not knowing.

ArchiesMamaBird · 18/05/2017 14:06

15 weeks Dolly? Say whaaaaaaaat?!?

OP posts:
Ohb0llocks · 18/05/2017 17:57

Thanks guys ❤

@Dollydaydream2829 can you believe we are almost half way there?

Viewed the house today. I liked it, 3 bed, 2 reception.

However, the bedrooms are tiny! The biggest one is 11x9 feet. I don't think our bed, plus a cot would fit! Any thoughts?

I'm worried because it is the only 3 bed to let in our area in our price range. DP is more relaxed and has a 'let's just wait and see approach'. There was 3 more on but they've all been let before we had chance to view. Others are 600+ which we can't really afford at the minute 😔

And to top it off I've been so hormonal and stressed today I feel like I've done nothing but tell DS off 😔

Another rant I'm sorry!

ArchiesMamaBird · 18/05/2017 19:26

Don't worry about ranting Ohb. That's what we're here for! I think it's so lovely having you girls to share things with and have a rant with, it's so much easier with people that you don't really know I'm real life and you know they won't judge you!

I'd be the same as you I think, DH is super laid back but I'm an organiser and I couldn't be dealing with a 'let's wait and see what happens' approach. Especially when you have a baby on the way soon! 🙈

Ohb0llocks · 18/05/2017 21:25

Thanks @Archies

Just had a proper sob on DP. Don't think it helps that Me and DS have had a stinking cold for about 2-3 weeks now that we can't seem to shift!

loababy · 19/05/2017 06:46

Bfn for me this morning so awaiting af. The release of stress now knowing has literally left me exhausted and Ill! I think I'm going to take a little break from mn/ Google/ anything ttc related and let nature take its cause. Good luck to all you lovely ladies xx

BellaMoon · 19/05/2017 07:20

morning all 😎

i have a day off and i am absolutely delighted! the fatigue is kicking my fat ass big time so once iv dropped DH at his work (he'd be going himself if it wasn't for the broken foot) ill be back to do absolutely sweet FA all day! this is soooo exciting! #saddo #easilypleased #jeremeykyle

sorry to @CakesALot and @loababy . it's difficult to find something comforting to say that we haven't already said. i do believe it makes you once cycle closer to your BFP. i truly hope it's only around the corner for you xx

@Ohb0llocks sending you some love and hugs! it's definitely not the stress you need right now at all. xx

i have my early reassurance scan tomorrow morning. i booked this as soon as i missed AF around easter so it feels like it's taken ages to come round. i'm only 8+4 and don't expect to see much but hoping for heartbeat and a little movement. i still do PG tests about 3 times per week. i think it's still sinking in with me as iv managed to avoid morning sickness so all my other symptoms can be attributed to being overworked. i need this scan to finally start believing, is that makes sense! #feelthejourneysongcomingon

what are your plans for the weekend then ladies? after the scan i'm off to a food festival/street food thingy in glasgow. looking forward to it albeit will have to choose wisely due all the rules of food in pregnancy. won't stop me enjoying the smells of the stuff i can't have! hoping the weather keeps up too, it's been lovely here! xx

Ohb0llocks · 19/05/2017 08:02

Ooh @BellaMoon exciting!

I know; I'm trying not to get stressed/worry and just carry on as normal. Especially with the DS' dad thing. I can't let the bastard keep controlling my life when at the minute he isn't even in it.

MissMagpie · 19/05/2017 10:30

So sorry Loa. You aren't out until she arrives but I completely understand how you are feeling. Hugs.

How exciting Bella. it definitely makes it seem real once you see that little bean!

Ohb, it sounds like you have had a really rough time, but you have been so strong. I hope it all works out ok for you. I can't imagine what you have been through. xxx

Dollydaydream2829 · 19/05/2017 17:47

Awch loa - sorry to hear about the BFN! Keep ahold of the PMA for now though, as magpie says, you're not out until she arrives.

Good luck for tomorrow bella - the first time you see your little bean is the most indescribable feeling! Be sure to post a pic ❤❤

I have a weekend of working ahead of me! I'm defo over the worst of my sickness though which is an amaaaazing feeling so not even a working weekend can bring me down!! Haha!

sarahboro1 · 19/05/2017 20:15

Testing testing 1, 2, 3!!!

sarahboro1 · 19/05/2017 20:22

Oooo I'm back ha ha!!! I wrote huge posts 3 times last night and they wouldn't send so I gave up!!!

Cakes I'm so sorry she arrived ☹️ Lots of pma for you this week ready to give it some welly in fw!!! 👍🏻💐

Loa I'm sorry you got a bfn, nothing like a snowy white. But fx for you that you are still to get your bfp!!! 🤞🏼🍀

9dpo here and the cramps are here too ☹️ I know it's not necessarily a bad thing but in my experience tummy ache only means one thing. We dtd cd 11, 13 and 15 this cycle and I got opk positive cd13 so I was really hopeful. Xx

Ohb0llocks · 19/05/2017 21:04

Thank you all so much! Think I just needed to sound off about it and now each time it pops into my head I'm going to ignore it and push it out and start doing something else!

Moo31 · 19/05/2017 22:14

Hi all! I just got me a shiny new phone! Spent half the night setting it up, trying to remember all my passwords! so much hassle!

@bella good luck for your scan, it's so nervewracking but when you see that wee heart beating away eeek! :) I took a few tests a week until my 12 week scan

@ohb everything will work out for you, have faith xo

@dolly hey my bfp buddy 11 weeks today since our bfps Shock crazy!

@sarah welcome back! Your not out til she shows so fx for you!

Hope everyone is well :) happy fri-yay! :)

ArchiesMamaBird · 19/05/2017 23:33

Hi Ladies Smile

Sarah try and keep up what PMA, I know it's hard when you get the normal AF symptoms, but they could also be pregnancy symptoms. So FX!

Loa so sorry for the BFN. Take some time out if you need to, we'll still be here when you're ready to come back (hopefully with some very exciting news for us!)

Bella it sounds like you're going to have a lovely weekend! Good luck for your scan tomorrow, let us know how it goes. So excited for you 🙊

I got my peak static smiley this morning, so think I'm due to OV tomorrow. We DTD last night and tonight, I don't think we'll be able to tomorrow because it's my moms hen do and I'm staying over at hers. But hopefully we've caught little Peggy 🤞🏼

Hi gals

Hope ur all well.

I have pure insomnia it's terrible 😭😭 think I am 5+4ish the now. I keep getting crampy feelings but iv searched and searched and so many people say it's common I'm trying to relax but I think I need diazepam not even kidding😂😭

Sorry to those who got bfn/af - @loa I got a BFN on the Wednesday and then the BFP on the Monday girls r right ur not out the woods until AF arrives.

Joined a kind of antenatal thread thing but it's just adding to my anxiety - so many people on it & some r a bit mental 😂😭 I just like this wee girl gang ha ha.

So tempted to POAS or take a CB Digital but I'm trying to just to trust fate, take it easy, take my vitamins and stop worrying haha!

Twice this week iv got in the car & my mums fav song is on - I feel it's her telling me everything is going to be ok - well I hope it is I'm taking it as a wee sign ❤️

ArchiesMamaBird · 20/05/2017 07:23

Amanda that's lovely about your mom's song 😊 and bless you, I think it completely normal to worry, especially after what you went through last time. I had cramps up until my 2nd trimester with DS. And that was the only symptom that I had, so I was like Bella and adamant that I was going to go for my scan and be told that o was never actually pregnant 🙈 but it remember it so well, I'd go running to the loo a few times a day convinced that I'd wipe and see blood. But no, apparently it's just your uterus stretching and moving around I think? Flowers for you xx

sarahboro1 · 20/05/2017 08:49

Thanks for the pma ladies, only got til Wednesday to wait for her to show so I'll just keep busy and everything crossed!! Xx

Amanda I wish we could make it easier for you!! I don't even venture elsewhere on the conception section on here anymore, I just log into you lovely ladies!!! Try and relax I know that's easy for us to say but you're over the first hurdle you're pregnant!!!! Just take it one day at a time. Xx

sarahboro1 · 20/05/2017 09:01

10dpo fmu bfn!!! Argh!!!! It's like morse code this!!!! 😂😤

Moo31 · 20/05/2017 09:55

@Amanda that's a lovely sign from your mum 😊 which antenatal thread did you join? I'm on one but I dip in and out of it and only post about once a week. It's just not the same as our #girlgang is it?!

MissMagpie · 20/05/2017 10:01

So sorry for the BFN Sarah. 🙁

Archies, fellow cycle 11 buddy, I am 2dpo today so we are shadowing each other again. This is our month. I know it is! PMA! PMA!

BellaMoon · 20/05/2017 10:41
