Do you love being elbow deep in your cervix? Can you tell your cream from your egg? No, we're not talking Cadbury, we're talking vadge juice. Come and join the fingering fillies on our flight of fecundity (see what I did there?).

Victoria, sure it's not a problem. They'll be some good swimmers in there. Have you thought about maybe using preseed if you're worried about them getting there?

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/02/2015 10:45

Oooooooooh mrsAR woo hoo I see it too

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/02/2015 10:46

Oh random qu does anyone know if taking iron supplements might be an issue?

MsAR · 18/02/2015 10:46

Really? Argh!

tessiegirl · 18/02/2015 10:46

MsAR I can def see a line!!! Congratulations!! Grin

Sparkly123 · 18/02/2015 10:56

mummy your chart looks good

Yes Sammy great news temp is up! Pah take that NHS!

Spinning nooooo for symptoms!! I hope not. Glad I reminded you about the test! Smile

Sorry Autumn march bus is a waiting though!

Oh Purdey poor little Nancy !!! And you too! Is she fine?!
Yeh I felt I tried everything. But they were so by the book! I just think a level of 30 ain't really ideal and the ones below not at all.. Do you think there's anything I could try myself? Or wait until we see the next clinic and they will take it seriously??
I don't know how I feel about IVF. I don't really understand why they are offering it if I'm honest? Neither of us are Infertile?..if my other pregnancy is to be believed!! Ha. Our issue is we can't physically get pregnant the old fashioned way at the moment! The hospital is Ninewells in Dundee that we would be going to next... Does anyone know anything about it? I looked at the website last night and it said to be offered treatment you had to have tried for two years??? So I'm now confused as to what she was on about with the six months?? Also.. What's everyone's thoughts on IUI?? Purdey those pregnancy clomid charts look like my normal temps post OV too!

Boris sorry about the dtd.. But today might have been fine timing too you never know! Keep positive lovely Flowers

MissMrsMummy · 18/02/2015 10:56

Yes msar it's there! Congratulations!

I have some new and unusual cramps today and very sore nipples. Does it mean something? No idea how many dpo but maybe 5dpo (not charting)

Sparkly123 · 18/02/2015 10:57

MsAR I see a line too! Grin

mrsb0710 · 18/02/2015 10:57

sparkly I'm glad you were able to.push your point, and have some answers. You are most definitely going to get your bfp :)

DH has 3 days off from tomorrow so we shall continue to dtd.

Have had headaches nearly everyday on this cycle, not sure what that's about.

MsAR looks like a bfp!!

Sparkly123 · 18/02/2015 11:02

Here's my chart for Purdey as requested.

My conclusion from this cycle is. I must take a chill next cycle... Look at my temps! They are so high.. Yet no BFP.. I had a couple new symptoms too.. Yet no BFP. So the confusion/stress by analysing all these things was driving me insane and although everything was pointing to a BFP, AF still showed her face! So.. My plan.. I shall try not to obsess so much this month, last cycle hopefully has installed a lesson in my TTC fuelled brain right?... Watch this space! Ha ha

I'm getting a BFP.

eskimolaura · 18/02/2015 11:06

Morning all!

Sparkly Please don't feel like you're hogging the thread- that post was informative for everyone and I'm sure will help people in a similar situation, as well as letting us know you're ok.

mummy and Sammy Yay for the temp rises! I heard that ibuprofen is a no no when TTC and during pregnancy too. Hope the pain has eased today mummy

dojo Do it! Do it!

Autumn That's rubbish- I'm almost certain that I will be joining you in the next couple of days, but still clinging on to a tiny bit of hope!

Quietly Again, that's rubbish. Hang on in there...

Purdey Your morning sounds traumatic so far. Hope little Nancigan is ok Flowers

Boris At least you DTD this morning, like you say, even if it missed the egg, it will have helped psychologically. Flowers

Victoria I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your query, but I think hand jobs are massively underrated and something that I should do more of for my DH!

MsAR I don't think there's any doubt there- you are pregnant! Congratulations! Grin

To all my cycle buds- knit, Marys, spinning and babs (by the looks of it), AF still hasn't shown but I am cramping like a good 'un! Last night I went to bed around 11 and had some proper sharp shooting pains down in my womb area on the left hand side, so not sure what all that was about. I ran out of white undies yesterday, so had to put them all in the wash and am wearing black ones, so may have missed something, but when I wipe there seems to be an excess of tacky / sticky CM and nothing else... Not sure what's going on. Confused AF not due til Friday, so there's still some hope right???

Watching episodes of The Little Couple, which I'm quite addicted to at the moment. Their adopted son Will is just GORGEOUS! I wanna eat him up!

MissMrsMummy · 18/02/2015 11:08

sparkly come and join me in the land of no temping and no charting! No more waking up in the night worrying about what your temp will be in the morning! No more early morning alarms! No stressing about short LP (as you won't know how long it was) woohoo Grin

BowiesJumper · 18/02/2015 11:16

I'll definitely ask my Doctor about charts etc next week. I hate mine as it shows I haven't ovulated, stupid chart (I know it's not the chart's fault, and at least I know and can mention it to doc).

How long should I say we've been trying? I won't stretch the truth too much but I want them to take me seriously. If there's an issue, I want it sorted!

KnitFastDieWarm · 18/02/2015 11:21

VOTES PLEASE - Should I poas at lunchtime today? Or hold off until tomorrow?

CD 28, around 9 or 10 dpo (I have a short luteal phase), af not fecking here yet, have never had a cycle longer than 28 days.

mummyofonesofar · 18/02/2015 11:25

KnitFast I would say try to hold off til tomorrow so you can save a stick if AF arrives before you test.
But if I were you, I would poas today and would be going mad by now not knowing. And seeing as I plan on poas on Friday at 7dpo due to it being DP's birthday I am in no place to judge!

KnitFastDieWarm · 18/02/2015 11:29

I kind of want to do it today - but if it's negative I KNOW I'm out for the month Sad I don't know what to do!

I thought I was about to get my period yesterday because I have a very very small amount of brown cm (like, only noticeable if I put a finger up there - sorry TMI) but no other af signs. Usually I get a really upset stomach just before af but there's nothing this month.

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/02/2015 11:33

knit I agree with mummy. I think you should hold off and wait. however I personally would probably test and get upset about it and all cross with myself,

KnitFastDieWarm · 18/02/2015 11:37

RIGHT I am going to hold off heroically! For some reason seeing a neg result upsets me much more than the arrival of AF, even though they mean the same thing...weird I know.

BowiesJumper · 18/02/2015 11:41

Well done knit, you know you're doing the right thing! Fingers crossed for you!

spinningirl10 · 18/02/2015 11:56

Knit, well done for holding off, I also hate the blank stick!

Tmi alert here but I had a wet feeling down below so rushed to the loo expecting af and I have lots of creamy cm, had to wipe it out of my knickers there's so much! I never get that at this stage! Apologies to anyone reading this in their coffee break Smile

victoria401 · 18/02/2015 12:28

Haha! spinning I'm just eating a ham sandwich!

sparkly I reckon you'll have your natural bfp by the time you get referred for iui or ivf. Its 2 years ttc unless you have a diagnosed fertility issue usually. Which I don't think you have really.

My thoughts on iui....? I want it. But hubby's sperm is not up to standard. Its just another way of making sure sperm meets egg at the right moment. But you still need to jab yourself in the tummy with needles and have regular scans as if you were having full ivf. (unless they offer unmediated cycles which you are practically doing anyway, except for the spun down spunk). You only have around 15% chance, same as a normal cycle. The reason why I want it is I want 4 possible chances. 3 iui and 1 ivf, from my nhs area.

WinterBabyof89 · 18/02/2015 12:48

MsAR yay congrats!

knit got to be a good thing that AF symptoms are almost nil.. Fx!

sparkly really interesting reading about your appointment & what came from it. I'm sorry that you felt you weren't listened to about you prog levels.. It wound me up reading about her reaction to the mention of your cp/early mc.. It just comes across as really unsensitive on their part to fail to acknowledge it!
I agree with victoria in that you'll likely get your bfp before you're seen again re: possible intervention methods.. Flowers

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 18/02/2015 13:02

Sparkly, blimey so quick to refer you for IVF. Take the referral even if you do get your natural BFP (which I am sure you will) at least that is ticking along in the background...?

I am off to the docs Friday to talk about a few things mainly my short LP so we shall see what happens there. I am nervous already! I would be happy with blood work to start things off. Have a feeling she is going to tell me the problem is my weight. I am 5ft2 and probably about 14stone?! I don't weigh myself.

Congratulations to the BFP MsAr! Nice line there too! wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy.

Victoria - nope not a problem as such. Maybe he had low reserves?! :)

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 18/02/2015 13:04

Ah Knit! I always get worked up and then take a test and THEN AF shows up. Admire your holding off determination. I would've done at least three by this point. FX for you!
