Do you love being elbow deep in your cervix? Can you tell your cream from your egg? No, we're not talking Cadbury, we're talking vadge juice. Come and join the fingering fillies on our flight of fecundity (see what I did there?).

My temps up this morning! Woo for ovulation! I don't care what the doctors say, it must mean something!

So Purdey, looks like that gland is an ov related one after all! Xx

mummyofonesofar · 18/02/2015 06:46

Woo for ovulation Sammy!

dojo123 · 18/02/2015 06:49

CD15 and just recorded quite a dip in temp. DH and I had planned on DTDing this morning anyway so it look like that and yesterday afternoons session could be well times FXd.
We're going to again tomorrow morning though do you think we should try this evening?

KnitFastDieWarm · 18/02/2015 06:51

Still no af! Will test tomorrow if nothing by then [willpower emoticon]

spinningirl10 · 18/02/2015 07:27

Morning Grin

Sammy, yay for temp rise.

Sparkly, it sounds as though you got your points across well. I'm pleased you're being referred for iui/ivf and only a 6month wait, that's fab.
And your post has reminded me that I need to phone up for a Fallopian tube scan Smile

Well my temp has dropped today, I have a familiar dull stomach ache and back ache so I shall take some paracetamol and await af Sad

babsbunny · 18/02/2015 07:41

Hi girls.
Sparkley. Glad you got some action, and
thanks for sharing your experience.

Spinning, got that dull ache too. Af due tomorrow. Confused and judging by the amount of crying yesterday, she's hot on my tail.

Yey for ov Sammy.

Knit, keep up the will power.

Judging by stats, bus has done pretty well!

Autumn2014 · 18/02/2015 07:52

I'm out. Buying the clear blue or posting on here that I was late did indeed invoke the law of sod and af turned up this morning.
Thanks for letting me ride this bus!

mrscatmad31 · 18/02/2015 08:12

Hey Smile
I have a week until af/bfp and only symptom I have is increased thirst, clutching at straws, lol!

Quietlyhopeful81 · 18/02/2015 08:15

Awesome update sparkly. It sounds like you were quite clear and concise. I'm not sure I would be brave enough.

My update is... Was due af yesterday/today according to ff last night. No headaches like I usually get pre-af. However, this morning I entered yet another low temp and ff has taken away my !?#*#$%& crosshairs and decided I didn't ovulate, so I have no idea what's going on! Poas anyway, BFN. This sucks.

PurdeyBirdie · 18/02/2015 08:22

Sparkly, you fought tooth and nail to be heard and understood and you clearly could not have done any better. Well done, you (hope that doesn't sound patronising). I am sorry she refused to consider prog supps (what is wrong with these people??) I am thrilled and gobsmacked in equal measure about the imminent IVF. I am convinced you and hubby are not infertile (we know full well you were pregnant last month; I hate how they refuse to acknowledge a pregnancy unless it is their test that has detected it. Clearly they consign all chemical pregnancies to the Land of Fantasists and I think that does a massive disservice to women who have suffered one) but who in their right mind would knock back IVF? How do you and your husband feel about it?

I need to fully catch up. Nancy fell off the sofa an hour ago and I have been distressed to see her in such shock. She's never fallen or rolled off anything in her (admittedly short) life and so we are like headless chickens knowing what we should/shouldn't do.

Sykadelic (Baby?) thank you for your amazing charts. I am rubbish with stats; 13 BFPs since when? Sorry for being thick.

Ooo, Mummy, what a lovely rise!

Sammy! I'm thrilled the gland thingy is a true thing to watch out for! Isn't it great we are learning new little tricks to detecting ov? What did the gland feel like? Where exactly should I find it? Does it feel like a hard pea as the article stated?

Dojo, tonight would be more prudent than tomorrow morning, I am sure.

Babs, I'm sorry there have been tears Sad and, Autumn, gah! to AF.

Quietly, please will you post your chart? I'm intrigued. Sparkly, may I see your chart that ended in AF yesterday? Would you mind?

Nomio, I wish you were having your prog tested on Clomid! Your temps are so low. I'm going to search FF for pregnancy charts with low post-ov temps to bolster my your confidence...Smile

OP posts:
PurdeyBirdie · 18/02/2015 08:46

Nomio, these are all charts where the lady is on Clomid and is pregnant Smile Admittedly, however, there weren't many charts where this drug produced low post-ov temps.

...check out the first chart - sex every single day for 34 days!

OP posts:
mummyofonesofar · 18/02/2015 08:58

34 days of shagging!! I couldn't do that even if I was told that is the only way to get pregnant. The second chart gives me some hope on timings. DTD 3 days before ov which matches mine, though we dtd on ov day too just in case. Thanks Purds, I know 5dpo shows a pretty boring chart but I love putting my temps in every day especially now they aren't rocky mountains and so excited to see it going up even though I know it means nothing Smile

Right so I bought some cheapy tests online 10mui/ml HCG, how many dpo can I test? Had to give myself a good talking to this morning when I got them out of the cupboard then told myself off and put them back.

Thanks for the stats mystery lady!

Tossed and turned all right with a toy story hot water bottle on my poor back and caved this morning and taken paracetomol and ibuprofen just so I could get out of bed. That is ok isn't it?

spinningirl10 · 18/02/2015 08:59

Purdey, it is so scary when they take a tumble. I remember Dd rolling off my bed onto a wooden floor! It was such a shock and once I'd calmed her down I was so upset. Hope Nancy's ok, lots of cuddles will help I'm sure.

Eagerly awaiting Sammys update for groin checking Grin

PurdeyBirdie · 18/02/2015 09:33

Mummy, I've been on Solpadeine Max every four hours for the past four days Hmm

KnitFastDieWarm · 18/02/2015 09:37

Poor little Nancy! (have i ever mentioned before how much I like the name Nancy? It's such a lovely name for a little girl Smile)

If it's any comfort, my mother bashed my head into a wall (by mistake, I hasten to add!) when I was 6 months old. And I'm a pinnacle of undamaged adulthood, me Grin

Oh, and my DH rolled off a top bunk when he was a few months old. He had never rolled over before, and chose that precise moment to learn...

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/02/2015 09:43

Sorry to all those who feel AF is on her way.
Patience to all of you on the tww and waiting to test :)
sparkly well done you for fighting your corner. Thanks for the detailed update its really helpful to know what gets discussed. Really hope you get your precious bfp soon.

Who has sex that many days in a row? Mad people.

As for me, well Dtd failed last night. The pressure and exhaustion got to DH again. We managed to dtd this morning, less to catch the egg and more to restore egos. Think I'll be out for March as well and work are sending me overseas next month at just the wrong time so my own precious bfp is looking horribly distant.
In other news I realised I get a big spot each time I OV, round my mouth. It's like mother natures own form of contraception. How to gross DH out.

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/02/2015 09:45

purdey be careful with the solphadine. Can you replace it with a less addictive drug?

juneybean · 18/02/2015 09:52

Ooh where are you at in cycle mummy I prefer to avoid ibuprofen...

mummyofonesofar · 18/02/2015 10:08

Just googled it and see ibuprofen is a complete no-no! Will avoid from now, I am 5dpo Juney, thanks.

victoria401 · 18/02/2015 10:26

Can I ask something really weird? The other day I gave hubby a hand job (im on af so not wasted!) And when he came it just kind of dribbled from the top not fountained out like in porn films. Is this normal? A possible problem?!

MsAR · 18/02/2015 10:40

Ok, I cracked and ran out to get a test. Have poas. Can see a very faint line but feeling too scared to hope.

Morning everyone!

bowies it's not reliable or accurate apparently! It even states in the NICE guidelines that it should not be used to guide your fertility. So yeh- eye roll to both!

sykadelic thanks for stats!!!
