Do you love being elbow deep in your cervix? Can you tell your cream from your egg? No, we're not talking Cadbury, we're talking vadge juice. Come and join the fingering fillies on our flight of fecundity (see what I did there?).

mummy It was the pen that swayed me Wink

I still have enough sticks from buying the dual hormone stick to last me another month and then some, but it did cost £50 for 20 sticks, so I think it sounds like a bargain.

BowiesJumper · 18/02/2015 16:09

OH MY GOD I JUST REMEMBERED I HAD A BIT OF CHOCOLATE IN MY DESK YOU GUYS.

This is a good afternoon.

Nomio230 · 18/02/2015 16:12

Woohoo, a truly great day bowie!

KnitFastDieWarm · 18/02/2015 16:14

Good one Bowie searched own desk to no avail

My finger is currently hovering over my repeat amazon order of conceive plus and ov strips - I don't want to buy them until AF actually shows up!

pulpi · 18/02/2015 16:14

mummy You inspired me to go check the all reliable interwebs and according to the wiki, "spematogenesis takes 74 days. Including transport on the ducal system, it takes 3 months". So, mid-April before those swimmers are ready. In the meantime, there's no harm in trying!

KnitFastDieWarm · 18/02/2015 16:15

goes off in search of biscuit, inspired by Bowie's chocolate stash Grin

spinningirl10 · 18/02/2015 16:26

Oh sorry Victoria! Hope I didn't put you off your ham sandwich Smile

Purdey, how is Nancy? Thinking of you and sending a hug xx

PurdeyBirdie · 18/02/2015 17:00

eskimolaura · 18/02/2015 17:02

Oh Purdey Flowers Flowers It's not your fault. Collarbones can be broken really easily. My brother broke his and didn't even go to hospital for about a month - he didn't realise it was broken. Flowers

BowiesJumper · 18/02/2015 17:05

Aww bless her. Babies are always falling or leaping off stuff though don't blame yourself!

loopylou1984 · 18/02/2015 17:30

Rrr Purdey - accidents happen. Not your fault. What's the treatment for it?

Re the swollen gland, it's a little smaller than a pea id say, but quite firm and tender. Weird thing is I noticed one years ago as a teenager and went to the doctors and no one ever said 'maybe it's from ovulation'

Xx

loopylou1984 · 18/02/2015 17:31

Who had the BFPs?! Off to the website to find the pictures...

spinningirl10 · 18/02/2015 17:38

Oh Purdey, I'm sorry to hear about Nancy. What do they do to treat it? Please don't be too hard on yourself, accidents happen and they'll be plenty more to comeThanks

mummyofonesofar · 18/02/2015 17:47

Bless her! Don't beat yourself up, these things happen. My niece fractured her arm. She was complaining that it hurt and SIL said to see how she goes. Next day still complaining - told her to "man up and go to school" I offered to take her to minor injuries to check and yup a fracture and a cast. So yup, these things happen.

loopylou1984 · 18/02/2015 17:50

Knit and MsAR I can see both your lines!!! Xx

mummyofonesofar · 18/02/2015 17:59

But obviously don't mean to trivialise the traumatic experience it must have been Flowers

spinningirl10 · 18/02/2015 18:00

Knit and MrsAR, I can see your lines.

Congratulations Grin

BabyBumpHopeful · 18/02/2015 18:14

Purdey don't blame yourself. I've hurt myself more times than I can count. I've sliced my chin open (twice), and my forehead (twice), ran through a window (17 stitches in my arms/hand), plus numerous broken fingers and toes (can you tell I was a tom boy??).

I also broke my collar bone once while doing a handstand.

My mum would be a perpetual state of guilt if she blamed herself for how many times we've injured ourselves. It certainly wasn't intentional.

juneybean · 18/02/2015 18:22

Ohh purdey sorry to hear about Nancy! If it makes you feel better I've injured a fair few children and I get paid for it! No one is infallible.

BowiesJumper · 18/02/2015 18:27

You get paid to injure children? Shock

juneybean · 18/02/2015 18:30

Haha well not quite! I get paid to look after them, injuries happen sometimes...

MarysPrayer · 18/02/2015 18:42

Purdey please be kind to yourself. I once left a stair gate open and a newly crawling dd fell down the stairs. Well, half way down to be precise. How she managed to come to stop on a straight staircase I will never know. I am sure that someone must have been looking over her on that day. It could have been so much worse. I was so upset and ashamed. To this day dh knows nothing about it. Blush
Oh and she has also rolled off the bed too so don't feel guilty (but you will anyway, because parenting is about feeling guilty isn't it?) Smile Flowers

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 18/02/2015 18:46

Ah purds accidents happen and that's exactly what it was! She will be fine Thanks

Marmite27 · 18/02/2015 18:52

Poor Nancy, but collar bones are designed to break. They take the stress so something more important doesn't.

Don't be too hard on yourself Purds x

mrsb0710 · 18/02/2015 19:15

Flowers for purdey and Nancy. My brothers once dislocated both my wrists whilst swinging me between them. I think mum was more pissed at them then worried about me!

juney was listening to ABBA whilst cleaning house today. Made me think of your little spermies! They should have found that darned egg by now.

DH didn't get the job he interviewed for. I'm sure I can put him in a good mood later on Grin
