BFP in 2012- a thread for winkling-advice and COD-avoidance!

So... here we are!
In a positive move to avoid monthly heartache this is the thread where we'll ttc in 2012.

"will there be winkling?" of course!
"will there be tinkling?" too right! you filthy buggers
"will there be time in the COD?" probably- but it'll only be short lived!
"will there be BFPs?" YES YES YES!

A pledge! do you think I'm taking this too seriously?
I, wishfulthinking, promise to ttc with all my might. I accept that ttc is a long, drawn out process and I shant allow myself to become too obsessed with the process in 2012. (if I remain in-duffed at new year, however, I reserve the right to be right royally pissed off with life and everyone in general!)

Who's with me?

Wishfulthinkng1- ttc numero 1- expecting a sticky BFP on July 31st (and at 28 day intervals thereafter!) Days till wedding - 6!

I shall be up duffed by the end of the year and actually remember the work Christmas party!

I have missed the boat to be a 33 year old mum, but 34 will be fine

So exciting your wedding is so close, wishful, 13 weeks yesterday to mine, so romping towards us at high speed. I don't know how I'll cope that close to ours! :-)

I am on the august thread but 20 mins before this thread was started I had just posted that I am convincing myself that if I'm pregnant by this time next year I'll be happy providing I'm about to drop and not 3 weeks gone

nicola 13 weeks will fly by! We've got the first bit of July sunshine out at the mo, so fx it can hold on for another week!

Ooh, good thread! I will get my BFP in 2012 as I want to get it before I am 31, whoop whoop!

Gives me time to be in my job a bit longer, do more in our new house and buy more shoes:)

Currently on CD37 of 34 day cycle with BFN's, boo to that.

Ofcourse I'm joining!!! Great idea wishful the arrival of af on a thread and the prospect of making new friends is even worse this way we are here for the juration, good and bad times!!!
Plus all the other months seem to have really high bfps at the start then crash and burn, this way I'll be testing near the start hurar Grin

Woohoo- just been to loo and there's some serious ewcm! It's amazing- like nothing I've ever seen- must be epo. Am out with a friend in a minute but DF has been reliably informed that tonight we are SO GETTING IT ON!! Xxxx

I am here until I get me the BFP in 2012, and then after until we all have one!! This is our year, it has to be!

This longer-term but not too long approach to ttc sounds like just the ticket, particularly for those of us who haven't got up-duffed on first attempt.
My original plan was to have a baby in 2012 but that's sooo 2011!! Wink
It's all about the 2013 babies! And how much nicer to have mat leave over the late spring / summer months when it's lovely and sunny, err Confused

Marking spot. Currently on 2ww, after much dtd. Been working on the whole Ewcm approach. It's now all stopped, so a brief rest before the next bout. AF due 26th.

I might have made it up but I think I had OV pain earlier too, which, if you take into account the ewcm makes this evenings events a well-timed-shag!!

My normal sunday night blues has been replaced with excitement as I have two short weeks now for a weekend away. And it's test week!

Oooooh.. Two testers this week. Don't want to get too excited particarly in the 'we're playing a long game' moral of the thread- but I've got a good feeling about it!

Yeah, don't get your hopes up on my test. I have felt nothing particularly unusual and am not thinking its my month. Nicola on the other hand... there's all sorts of stuff going on with her! haha.

We are going to mid-wales for our anniversary. 10 years. Wow. Went quick!

Yeah...my body is playing all sorts of tricks on me. Clearly enjoying all of the natural hormones I'm allowing to emerge, post-pill!

If I'm not pregnant, I hope this isn't going to happen every month, as the cramps today were full on, mid-flow style. Ouch!

But for now I'll POAS every other day and see what happens!

Hi thought I would pop over to this thread too, being as July was not successful for me and I need to keep trying, hold my chin up and hang on to that bit of hope.

On cd 3 and on 2nd month of clomid treatment. TTC #1 BFP due 10th Aug.
