BFP in 2012- a thread for winkling-advice and COD-avoidance!

So... here we are!
In a positive move to avoid monthly heartache this is the thread where we'll ttc in 2012.

"will there be winkling?" of course!
"will there be tinkling?" too right! you filthy buggers
"will there be time in the COD?" probably- but it'll only be short lived!
"will there be BFPs?" YES YES YES!

A pledge! do you think I'm taking this too seriously?
I, wishfulthinking, promise to ttc with all my might. I accept that ttc is a long, drawn out process and I shant allow myself to become too obsessed with the process in 2012. (if I remain in-duffed at new year, however, I reserve the right to be right royally pissed off with life and everyone in general!)

Wishfulthinkng1- ttc numero 1- expecting a sticky BFP on July 31st (and at 28 day intervals thereafter!) Days till wedding - 6!

I have given up on this month and am going to prepare for the next 2 months of serious swi!! The stress of it all has been too much these last few weeks so I'm letting this last 10 days before AF pass without any pressure, then am going to focus (like a camera)!

Huzzah, I have just heard that I have an interview next wednesday. So I have heaps to prepare, which means no time to spend worriting about symptoms, their presence or lack thereof! Yay!

Question: when do you get Ewcm in relation to ov? I has lots of it yesterday- does that mean I've already ov-ed? Or should I keep up the shag-fest? Whats the latest I could ov after the appearance of Ewcm?

Wishful - was looking that up on the oracle that is known as google. I think Ewcm indicates the most fertile stage, ov could happen a little bit later, but as soon as starts, start pouncing! Am sure I heard people go on about dtd before ov being successful. I tend to have Ewcm for a few days. Maybe a shag tonight wouldn't go amiss! My dh was loving last week! We swi, with the emphasis on intent! And now the 2ww. Good luck wishful!

Hey wishful hope you got lucky this morning! If it makes u feel better, the need to dtd has resulted in many painful arguments when I have tried to point out were I am in my cycle - its not exactly good for the self confidence! Hence the break... x

oooooh ooooooh me me me, I want a 2012 BFP too.

As of this morning I am out for this cycle. I've had a couple of mc this year and desperatly want to be pg by October 27th (due date of last mc) Not looking good for next cycle as Hubs is away for a boozy weekend with his mates at the crucial time but I am looking at it as a challenge that I will overcome rather than the PITA that it really is

Hi Chuckle. I'm like you. Although I embrace the whole "until the end of the year" sentiment, the date in my mind is 16 Oct. It's my coping strategy. If it's not happened by then, not sure what'll I'll do....

I know what you mean about the 'target' my due date on the mc was January 19th- if I'm not considerably up-duffed by then I'll be gutted. But am sure it'll be sometime before the end of this year. I need to keep reminding myself that we actually have a 50% success rate- we got pg on first cycle and then mc, not pregnant on wtf cycle. So, there's no reason to panic. Yet.

Lazy-ass df was so tired this morning I didn't even -demand sex- try to seduce him. I've still got quite a bit of Ewcm (which is actually a bit annoying- as if it had gone I'd be certain that id ob-ed iykwim? Now I'm not sur if I've of-ed yet or not. Anyway, I'll try my luck tonight and the stop until we're married! If it doesn't happen this month df (who'll then be dh) has promised to rise to the occasion (ho ho) on demand. We're both teachers so have 6 weeks off that we can spend baby making relaxing.

We're on cd17 and we dtd on cd11, 13 and 15. Not much really- just hope it's enough. Im usually pretty regular 28 day cycles so at due July 29th- defo not going to test before then (please discourage me from testing before then!!)
