Thanks @Felith for the title!

It was a toughie to pick the thread title this time!
Thanks to @RainbowZebraWarrior for the title Xmas Grin For those interested, our fate is best before June of next year and the offer was regarding Guylian choices at B&M.

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!

@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps

A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:

  • It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
  • No affiliate links
  • No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
  • Be nice or leave

The current referral thread for sharing referral codes https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/4940918-4940918-bargain-referrals-thread-6 . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.

To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)

So starhellostar would look like this.

hello

Obviously use the * not the word star

Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

Thanks for the new thread!

Thank you to the posters who told us about the Solace Jewellrey. One of my mystery packages came today, 9 pairs of earrings for £20 and they’re beautiful! I got two of the same (ordered 2 silver3 packs and 1 rose
gold) but that’s fine by me as it’s to split between me, my daughter and 2 neices.
Got another 6 pairs coming soon as well as I bought the kids and gold packs first off before the other kind poster disclosed the extra discount so can’t wait for them to turn up.

Just edited to add, one pair I got was £25 alone on the website so very happy!

Elpheba · 10/10/2024 19:59

Don’t forget to go to smiggle if you’re passing one in real life. With the sale on, their “5 for £5” is a real bargain- I got loads of key rings that would usually be £6.50 each (if you were insane enough to pay full price!)

Sideorderofchips · 10/10/2024 20:02

I got 3 for £20 on iwoot today. All 3 items were over £20 normally so a good deal!

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 10/10/2024 20:03

@Reastie Thanks for the new thread.

Just another quick request on the Gabby's Dollshouse Rainbow house- in case anyone has seen it for less than £56?

Thanks for those who recommended Solace. Got lovely North Star necklaces for the DDs main advent calendar present in the sale plus a mystery earring bundle.

LePetitMaman · 10/10/2024 21:03

Following on from bath bombs earlier, B&M a small and expensive disappointing selection. Home bargains, super selection!

sherbertdibdab · 10/10/2024 21:17

Have I missed the Solace discounts or are they hidden?

Lots of half price football team gifts here
and some NFL stuff too - I got my son a sports snood with his team’s logo, seemed like a good stocking filler! I would like to know this too. I’ve looked back and can’t seem to find the original post.

For those asking about slipper I swear by the Just Sheepskin Duchess slippers. Used to get them in TK Maxx regularly for under £30. I seen them all year so on the hunt for a deal if anyone comes across any. They are so comfy and warm, and the hard sole is perfect for a bit more support.

hby9628 · 10/10/2024 22:26

lol I've just searched through to find the solace discounts! the one posted by the pp is the best but if the code below doesn't work there was also
FIRST & FIRSTORDER

I got mine today & very happy with them. Off to check the value on their website!

sherbertdibdab · 10/10/2024 22:32

Thank you @Moreteaandchocolate

LittleMousewithcloggson · 10/10/2024 22:50

i tried to used someone’s referral for laithwaites but it’s not taking anything off champagne. Is this normal? I couldn’t see it written anywhere as an exclusion.

Nc789123 · 10/10/2024 23:01

Sorry, im late to the party. What was the guylain offer please

Confusedmeanderings · 11/10/2024 00:49

Thanks for the new thread.

IlovePond · 11/10/2024 01:54

@Nc789123 - some people spotted Guylain in their local B&M for 79p. I dashed to my - not so - nearest branch and the boxes were £5.99! It was a blink and you missed it deal in some stores only 😿

Moreteaandchocolate · 10/10/2024 22:23

Mystery bundle £10 for 3 pairs

Solace Jewellery - the code 3FORYOU makes those bundles 3 for the price of 2.

FIRST25 worked for me, took 25% off, so one bundle delivered for less than £10 if that helps!
