Are Evri trying to ruin Christmas

Slightly OTT (and lighthearted) but I wish online retailers would stop using this company. I have seven orders with various companies and all the deliveries are delayed. Some over two weeks late so likely I’m going to have my order cancelled.

Why why why are they still in business? Where do the missing packages go?

yep. Just into John Lewis now.
my suitcase that I need for next week disappeared into the Evri black hole over a week ago

I have never had a problem with EVRI. I would say XDP are the most appalling even worse than DPD.

Usually evri are really good here. Not at the moment. I’m waiting on winter boots for DD who has freezing feet poor kid. Evri reported to the retailer that they have delivered and have emailed me twice saying they tried to deliver past 9pm (they didn’t, we were up and in the room next to the door both times).
I’m off to the shops to buy the boots today.

wish they would just be clear about when/if they are actually going up deliver!

It must be a bit of a lottery as I've had nothing but excellent service from Evri. (probably just tempted fate by saying that, still got a couple of parcels to come!)

Evri parcels are getting nicked round here because they keep leaving them in bins and thieves have cottoned on.

They are awful. New name, same shocking service. I’m waiting on two parcels, both ordered on the 25/11. One was supposed to have been delivered on Wednesday and is now tracking as delayed, the other is untraceable. I don’t know why so many companies use them, they’re useless!

Evri also fine for me but it is the luck of the draw I think. Just ordered some Levi jeans on Weds and they arrived via DPD this morning. Waiting for something I ordered from Not On The High Street that was dispatched a week ago and no sign of it as yet. No idea which service they’ve used.

My Evri delivery guy is great! He announces 'arssle!' when I answer the door. I think he is saying parcel but laugh at the thought that he gets a little joy from saying arsehole to people every delivery he makes Xmas Grin

Evri was in the news the other day, 100s and 100s of parcels had been opened and dumped in woods.

I have a parcel with them it's been stuck at processing since Monday. Worse delivery company ever.

DPD have always been solid. Royal Mail awful, but not on Evri standard.

Nothing in the bins - I think I’m pleased about that?

My local Evri courier is brilliant. One of the more reliable delivery companies here!

Ours used to be shit, the woman on our round now is great. I think it really is luck of the draw.

EVRI is brilliant here - they’ve delivered everything on time, to my specified safe place.

My heart always sinks when I see something is being delivered by DPD.

Judging by my local Facebook, they are dotted around town on random doorstep. This enables the game of "identify the doorstep".

I've had 9 parcels the last 2 weeks delivered by Evri and all have been delivered on time so it does seem to depend on where you are and the delivery person

My Evri parcel has also been "delayed". It's been promised before Christmas but I won't hold my breath. I'm gutted. It's my Christmas present but it's the only thing I was expecting and I was quite looking forward to it.

We must be really lucky as both our Evri and DPD drivers are fabulous. They both post on the local FB sites if they have car problems or are ill for example.

I guess it comes down to the individual drivers and whether there is consistency.

Since Royal Mail has gone to the wall reliability-wise some vendors have switched to Evri and unfortunately they haven't properly prepared for the Christmas rush plus the RM overspill. In London it's an absolute mess. I wouldn't order anything online right now.

We posted a Christmas present to Holland last year. It got to its hub and then they couldn't find it. Wanted evidence of content blah blah. Eventually got a refund. It was eventually delivered in May. I've been messed about by them several times. Not delivering when they say they will or just not delivering and you dont know what's happening.
I'd never use Evri again.

Our driver is great but often they don’t make it out of the sorting place. I’ve had a few things go missing recently.

My EVRI driver is brilliant and even gave me her mobile number. Never had any problems with them.
Royal mail on the other hand...

Our Evri service is brilliant. The guy is really cheerful, always leaves parcels safely round the back if we (rarely) are out. Same with ourRoyal Mail postie. DPD have been rubbish though.

Same here, my Yodel parcel at the weekend was over 2 hours late, then they submitted they couldn't find my house, when still 4 stops away. Load of crap, they where so late it was clocking off time and they gave up. Perhaps if they hadn't spent 20 minutes per delivery earlier in the day!

now has no available delivery date.
