If you're happy with your presents, what we're you given?

The biggest gift has been to have my parents to stay and for everyone to be healthy.

However presents are nice too... I was given a spa break from DH at the hotel where we got married. My dad was given theatre tickets and my mum a special piece of pottery. DH had some lovely new cookware. DS had games, books and gadgets. DD is fully kitted out in sportswear.

All in all, very happy and pleased.

I'm single but my DS and Dil went overboard with the gifts this year, diptique perfume, makeup and skin care products, and a kitten
The kitten is not a gift I should add. They knew I desperately wanted another cat so they found me one and she is arriving in January. I'm so happy.

These. Pjs with our cats as kittens faces on. Not the type of nightwear I'd normally choose, but I love them, and him even more for it, can't believe he even thought of doing it bless him.

Dh asked me for a list and from it, he bought me a cantilevered sewing box and some small scissors from William Whiteley & Sons.

I love my presents!

My DH gave me a Roberts radio in mustard yellow, and a voucher to have a manga drawing I've had for years properly framed.

He's currently in the kitchen cooking Christmas dinner while I drink bolly with freshly squeezed satsuma juice.

A beautiful cashmere scarf from my lovely SIL, vouchers for our favourite restaurant from the DC, a cushion with me and the dog on it from DH ( I love it) and some very nice smellies from my best friend. Very spoiled this year and feeling that my loved ones know me well ❤

My 7 year old got me a Morphy Richards on the go coffee maker. 🤣 with 2 travel mugs!!

My mother said he fell in love with it in the shop and exclaimed "this is just what mummy needs, because she's a busy woman, busy people like coffee"

I adore him, and will think of him as I fill my coffee cup every morning, my little poppet. 🤣

A dinnerware set I had coveted since the summer, but couldn’t justify buying it when there was nothing really wrong with the stuff we are using (DD told DH to buy it!) and a pair of silver hoop earrings.

Boxing Day pyjamas from DD (because I’d said if I had nice pj’s I’d spend all day in them tomorrow)

A Bose smart speaker 500 with Alexa, which I requested, and sone Laura mercier Ambre and vanille smellies from my daughter, perfume, body soufflé, shower gel.

I got my husband an Apple Watch and my daughter some jones the bookmaker Chelsea boots, a hush sweatshirt and hoodie,, some cashmere soxjam a ted baker hand bag, a Denby crockery set, a wine glasses set, sone Denby mugs and a le creuset cafetière.

Everyone happy and our daughter had to set the tech up for us.,😂

Chuffed to bits with everything

Sheepskin slippers, leather handbag, books, good chocolate, thermal socks, scented candles, decent wine. Everything is perfect.

I got ABBA voyage tickets!

Lovely books, a necklace from a local maker I like, my favourite gin (from DH) and an exact replacement for my favourite mug that I broke a few months ago (from DD - according to DH she trawled the net to find it!) Feeling very lucky indeed.

I am delighted with mine, two cookbooks I've coveted for a while which I'm pleased with,and a set of wine glasses and salt pepper shakers that my daughter (10) choose from a charity shop. I LOVE them.

Lots of things to go in the bath. A palette of sparkly eyeshadows in red and black and all colours between.
A book of Tudor recipes.
A pair of moonstone drop earrings and an amber drop necklace.
4m of yellow and turquoise floral print cotton lawn which will be made into a 1930s summer dress.

Only had presents from my chap so far (seeing the rest of my family in a few days). He's a brilliant present buyer - I got three pairs of shoes (he knows my taste so well), perfume, make up, fancy chocolate, and a small piece of furniture I needed but hadn't got around to buying. I'm very, very lucky 😍

A couple of Lego sets, a champagne stopper, and some fancy hot sauce. All on my wish list. I’m very pleased.

We are all happy this year. I didn't really want much but I got an adorable new kitten charm for my bracelet (crazy cat lady), my favourite gin which I hardly ever buy as it's quite expensive and a birds of prey experience day where I get to fly owls (crazy owl lady)

DD's (12&17) were both really happy with their presents, Xbox games for the eldest and a new bass guitar for the youngest plus extras and a fleecy blanket/hoodie that they put on immediately and refusing to take off 😂

Still got wider family Christmas to come next week and I can't wait to give them their gifts!
