If you're happy with your presents, what we're you given?

The biggest gift has been to have my parents to stay and for everyone to be healthy.

However presents are nice too... I was given a spa break from DH at the hotel where we got married. My dad was given theatre tickets and my mum a special piece of pottery. DH had some lovely new cookware. DS had games, books and gadgets. DD is fully kitted out in sportswear.

All in all, very happy and pleased.

This Christmas has been awesome.

I got:

• first Christmas with the dog I've adopted
• 14th + 15th Christmas with my two cats!
• two amazing houseplants from my best mate
• to spend the whole day chilling with said best mate in our PJs
• to spend yesterday with my awesome sister, niece + nephew + our dogs
• money to buy yet more plants, to create an indoor jungle especially for my male cat :D
• money to buy an Ikigai book!

A diamond ring birdfeeder. Love it!

I got a leopard print bedding set and matching cushion; gin and a pasta making machine. Could not be happier !

Oh and some pictures beautifully framed and a voucher for my favourite tattoo artist.

A Hammerhead Shark necklace from a local jeweler. I love it - toddler DS calls me mummy shark 🦈.

Other than that I got a giant foam roller and some of my favorite chocs and a few beauty bits (spendy shampoo and conditioner).

A 3000 piece jigsaw, pictures of DD's wedding in a frame, extra long thin barrels for my airwrap.

Best present was DS1 being my sous chef and the 4 of us sat down for a lovely family dinner and a fun game afterwards.

A gorgeous antique gullioche brooch from dh.some new fountain pen inks, and the whole bundle of kids here for the day.

I received a green corduroy bag, a 90s board game and jurassic world evolution 2... Tbf they were all on my list so I'm more than happy 😂

Lovely snuggly slipper socks from my DS. I actually think these might be my favourite present.

Copy of A Christmas Carol from DD, because I mentioned to her I fancied re-reading it.

New air pods and a gold necklace from DH.

Pretty earrings and a pair of coloured wine glasses from DM.

Bottle of whisky from the in-laws.

All in all I'm feeling very lucky and spoilt.

Books, books, more books and a candle. Perfect?

Slippers, nice wine glass, pjs, purse, high Street voucher, some money.
Last month, Dh bought me a barbour coat and tablet as early presents. We're not in a position to buy new things like that at the moment so he got them secondhand. I love that he did this because it took patience, time and effort to find ones I would like.
I'm over the moon with my gifts.

When we got home from dinner DH sorted drinks while I put my PJ’s on. When we said cheers I noticed something at the bottom of my glass. It’s the most beautiful emerald and diamond ring that I’ve looked at for years, very simple but I love it.
