Grrrr - over 15 items tesco subbed which I’ve had to return

Guess I’m going to the shops after all. How has everyone else done?

I was told that my delivery hub isn't on 'the new system' yet which is why I don't get the email receipt. Bit weird as am sure it comes from one of the really big ones!

Absolutely massive Ocado order delivered this evening. 85 items. Nothing missing, just a different sized bottle of apple juice. Very happy with that.

Had my tesco delivered. A small ham was subbed for a pack of sliced ham which wasn't a problem but all fine other than that

Anyway, sent DH to Aldi to grab the few missing bits (pigs in blankets, cream, parsnips, cheese), much quicker than having to do the whole shop so overall glad I did the online order.

This was the first time I had an email receipt from Tesco.

We had no subs but they were out of Turkey bisto.

Ocado did OK. Arrived 20 minutes late, but they'd prewarned me of that. A few things unobtainable, but nothing earthshattering. A few substitutions, but mostly sensible. They sent salt & vinegar crips multipacks to replace cream cheese and chives. I love s&v, but nobody else here does, so with unbelievable self-restraint I handed them back.

Not too bad at all. Hope everybody else is now sorted and moving on to actually cooking the damned stuff, or even eating it! Merry Christmas.

I've got my turkey and a beef pot roast in the oven. We eat the turkey cold, and the pot roast is always better the next day.
