girlwiththeyellowhats do we have any news yet?

Fifth thread already, how did that happen?! I?ve booked our panto tickets now so am feeling very festive Grin . Tips I learnt from the last thread number 24837 - wrap a huge cardboard box in christmas gift wrap to put all the rubbish on christmas day in rather than a bin bag so you don?t get a black plastic sack in all of the photos

Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Charlie pop up book arrived today and it is awesome Smile

I have already given it to kids as it wasn't for Christmas and they love it but tbh I'd rather keep it just for me!!!

Reastie · 09/09/2013 16:02

What age is the pop up charlie book aimed at would you say? I have a 9 YO to buy for - I'm assuming she'll be too old?

OP posts:
BeaWheesht · 09/09/2013 16:07

Well, I'm 32 so.....

Mipe · 09/09/2013 16:17

It is probably aimed at 6 or 7 year olds but it is so lovely that I am sure your daughter will love it anyway (I do)! :)

Reastie · 09/09/2013 16:20

Oh, I should have said, it's not my 9YO, it's a niece (hence why I have no idea if she would like it or not). My DD is 2. Maybe I should get it for her for next year please someone hide my credit card before DH does

OP posts:
WaitMonkey · 09/09/2013 16:30

Ewe, I'd wait until the new book arrives, so you know you've got the right one. Then as they haven't told you to donate it to charity, I would either give it to someone as a gift, donate to charity or save it as a raffle prize in the school Christmas fair. As you've already emailed them, they will probably get in touch tomorrow.

Mipe · 09/09/2013 16:34

How about a fairy door gift set? My daughter loves hers and the fairies sometimes leave a little present for her in the night :). They have nice little Christmas sets as well, all about £4.99.

HenriettaPye · 09/09/2013 17:24

I'm so annoyed as before I placed the order, I emailed them, quoting the reference number and asked if she could confirm if I would receive 6 or 1 if I ordered, she replied saying that they are a pack of 6 so I would receive 6.

MooseyMoo Thanks for the pm. Still pondering about posting on their facebook page. Will see what Dh thinks when he gets in. Anyone know if my FB friends will see my post? It's a present for one of them.

BeaWheesht · 09/09/2013 17:37

Oh my goodness I am definitely getting dd a fairy door, I think ds is probably a bit old for one now at almost 7 :(

zipzap · 09/09/2013 17:38

play.com have got some three packs of men's tshirts for £13, £15 up to £25. The individual tshirts seem to be on the site for about a tenner each so at £13 or £15 they could be a real bargain if you know 3 teenage boys or men that could do with tshirts and they all happen to wear the same size...

Designs are either joke ones, zombie ones, retro gamer set or evolution of man/robot, rubix cube melting etc ones for the cheaper sets. The cheapest set seems to be deal of the week so doubt it will hang around long. no idea how long the other ones that are at £15 will last at that price or if they will be reduced much more.

Price includes postage and you might be able to get cashback for play on some sites too.
