girlwiththeyellowhats do we have any news yet?

Fifth thread already, how did that happen?! I?ve booked our panto tickets now so am feeling very festive Grin . Tips I learnt from the last thread number 24837 - wrap a huge cardboard box in christmas gift wrap to put all the rubbish on christmas day in rather than a bin bag so you don?t get a black plastic sack in all of the photos

Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Hello! Sending you labour vibes girls

Love those magpie mugs...darn it doing mugs last year!

If anyone sees any Emma Bridgewater can they let me know please?

cake and brew for all

pantshavenames · 02/09/2013 21:56

God I feel quite schizophrenic, on the one hand looking resolutely away from talk of Christmas Eve hot choc and baileys ( but easily imaging some kind of wunder Christmas )and on the other hand celebrating the end of the summer holidays.
I need to be careful tho', I lose my job on Christmas Eve (really) so I may obsess with making this Christmas too perfect as a distraction.
Thanks to reastie as always for the summation.

GeekInThePink · 02/09/2013 21:56

I mean [cake ] and Brew obviously! Blush

GeekInThePink · 02/09/2013 21:56

I give up Cake

joymaker · 02/09/2013 21:57

Reastie Cake Thanks

Leilandri thanks for the link to those advent candles on the Ace website, either of them would have fitted the bill nicely, the postage to me though would be an eye watering £5.99 unfortunately

GeekInThePink · 02/09/2013 21:57

Thanks reastie

Bluetinkerbell · 02/09/2013 22:00

I returned my Vertbaudet items. Didn't like the pink t-shirt for DD. The sportsbag was ugly. I did get the toolbox in another order, which I paid nothing for at all, as they sent it on its own and canceled the item I ordered.

Leilandri · 02/09/2013 22:03

joymaker Ace is the same as Studio, I believe. I recieve the Ace catalogue, my Dmum recieves the Studio one and they are identical. Apparently code 032 works with studio for free delivery? Worth a search ... I recieved my candle today (chose the tall white one) and it is lovely. Going in my 1st December hamper that accompanies our Elfs arrival Grin

joymaker · 02/09/2013 22:03

joymaker · 02/09/2013 22:07

Leilandri thanks for the tip Wink

iloveholidays · 02/09/2013 22:13

Great, thanks Poppy. I know DD1 will love them, it's just we have so many books I'd been putting it off Grin

kiwidreamer · 02/09/2013 22:15

Loving ths years bargain threads, Thanks Reastie! Ive reserved a £9.99 designafriend doll for DD's Xmas, thanks to person who posted in last gasps of previous thread :)

I tried my luck with Vertbaudet too, god that sports bag was vile and I ended up with 3 from 2 orders when they said they wouldn't send a second bag and would replace with a CARS beach towel, I phoned back today as got bag with second order no towel and got crappy bollocks from their CS saying towel now out of stock so would more than likely have crap sports bag number 3 on its way booooooo will return at max expense to Vertbaudet!!

WaitMonkey · 02/09/2013 22:18

ilove I don't understand how they have gotten away with treating people so differently. I won't be using them again. Sad

itsonlysubterfuge · 02/09/2013 22:19

Thanks for thread number 5!

WithConfidence · 02/09/2013 22:20

Sorry kiwi but the three sportsbags has made me laugh.

DTisMYdoctor · 02/09/2013 22:24

I've just seen someone post on another thread that the playmobil pyramid is £39.99 at toys r us - good price for this I think.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 02/09/2013 22:35

Yay, another thread, thank you reastie

Stillhopingstillhere · 02/09/2013 22:35

Smyths toys have the imaginext T. rex for £25 instead of £40. Amazon cheapest is £35 including postage so it's quite a bit cheaper.

Freemilk · 02/09/2013 22:41

Was in B&M today got a Lego ninjago set from over 7 pounds to 3.99 it was small but not a super common one since my dc didn't have it already sorry can't tell you which it is in the boot!
They also had a little disney doll (the one with the dress you clip on) for 2.99 Cinderella, Snow White Ariel, etc
asda had the new Disney mermaid DVD for £10 (not sure if that is good or not)

Freemilk · 02/09/2013 22:42

Oh and when I looked last night you could get the Christmas finger puppets for 1.51 on eBay.

Freemilk · 02/09/2013 22:43

Still resisting the magpie mugs but only just!
