girlwiththeyellowhats do we have any news yet?

Fifth thread already, how did that happen?! I?ve booked our panto tickets now so am feeling very festive Grin . Tips I learnt from the last thread number 24837 - wrap a huge cardboard box in christmas gift wrap to put all the rubbish on christmas day in rather than a bin bag so you don?t get a black plastic sack in all of the photos

Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Oreocrumbs · 05/09/2013 08:12

Nails Inc often do a luck draw type thing where you get 7 full size bottles for about £20. They always include 2 current trend colours, and the rest I presume to be last seasons colours.

They are a bit hit and miss, I got some not long ago and there are 5 bottles out of the 7 I will never wear. Royal blue, bright green, glow in the dark orange and such like. I'm afraid I'm more of a porchester square girl!!

But if your lot are bit more adventurous than me it's a cheap way to get them.

Mama1980 · 05/09/2013 08:27

I also have 30% off VIP codes from gap, I have 4. If you'd like pm me Smile

ASOS have some River Island purses reduced - couple of them are £10 (from £20), then you get 10% off on all sale items until Monday with WOW10 at the checkout. These are nice for teen girls with a voucher in I think as they really only want that or cash Grin

It's addictive! Not sure how much or what I've got coming, so will wait until it is all here and see what I can do with it.

I might do a stocking for me and DP rather than an advent calendar. I'm hoping molton brown will do an offer like last year and I will amass a nice little pile of trial size bottles again.

Anyhoo, back to spending money!

Crayola twistables sketch and draw set £7.49 Argos, + free del.

IJustNeedANap · 05/09/2013 09:16

Thanks for the helicopter link Oreo, I'm wondering if it could be a present for DP he likes gadgety things and he's a bloody nightmare to buy for so it might interest him for a little while any thoughts?

sniffywhiff · 05/09/2013 09:17

Are those less-than-a-pound Amazon jewellery 'offers' not dodgy? I always assume they are just to get your card details and email address - maybe I'm just suspicious though!

IJustNeedANap · 05/09/2013 09:19

Sniffy my card is linked up to amazon and unfortunately all I have to do is click a button and I've never had a problem with my card details before being on there

IJustNeedANap · 05/09/2013 09:19

Oh and another thing the helicopter Oreo linked to is best price on camelcamel

Sorry for all the posts Blush

iloveholidays · 05/09/2013 09:22

oreo I thought about doing a stocking although DP and I decided last year to just stick to the kids for stockings as thought we better be consistent as to whether father Christmas did one for us or not. maybe I'll just package it differently to a stocking and put it until the tree to come down to. I've got so many ideas going through my head, seriously need to start making some decisions!!! :)

I've probably got a load of samples in my draws I'll never use so don't really want to add to it. Grin

Oreocrumbs · 05/09/2013 09:25

It depends how gadgety they are IJust! The engineers and scientists in my lot will just fiddle with it, dismantle it and then put it away.

But the others seems to revert into children, and it gives them something to do over the Christmas holidays when they are bored!

sniffy I think the amazon cheap jewellery is fine, I've bought it before and had no problems. The main thing that is dodgy is the RRP they claim! It's cheap jewellery, but its nice cheap jewellery for the price.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 05/09/2013 10:13

Just been into tesco. Fireman Sam activity wheels £1.85 from £7.50 and football sets reduced to £2.50. Also play doh sweet shop candy cyclone reduced to £5.50

98percentchocolate · 05/09/2013 10:24

Pound land was selling nails inc varnishes a few weeks ago to whoever was asking.

Amazon sellers can only sell on there if they have a certain percentage satisfied rating. If it dips below that (and its a very high number) then they aren't allowed to sell anymore so don't worry about the card details thing. They've been selling those so long that I don't think they'd still be on there if it wasn't genuine.

Mrswilliams87 · 05/09/2013 10:47

For all those making yummy vodka this year have we established where is the cheapest place to buy the 40% vodka from?? Im think of trying aldi or liddel x TIA

98percentchocolate · 05/09/2013 10:48

Thanks for the helicopter link Oreo, dp will love it! He was looking at them the other day in asda and I was convinced he was going to buy one there and then!
