14 year old boy pain down below

I’m looking for advice really. My boy has groin pain after a bath tonight. He says he was fine before the bath and now has ball (testie) pain now. There doesn’t appear to be anything out of place but obviously not sure. We have asked and he says he hasn’t been kicked or accidentally hit by anything or anyone today at school.

we have contacted 111 awaiting a call back for their nurse or doctor. My mind is racing to wonder if the bath being a normal temperature has something to trigger it? He’s saying it’s just uncomfortable but also reports his calf is sore too? 🙈

we have a hot tub and he’s in and out of that all week with no issue. Any ideas please? TIA

I can't begin to imagine what you are going through. It all happened so quickly. Just goes to show how finely balanced our bodies are. We take health for granted but it's so fragile. I've been keeping up and you are staying strong now but be prepared for the 'down' you will feel after your adrenaline levels drop.

We really do. I feel beyond helpless today. He’s collapsed in the room and they have decided this afternoon to move him to PICU. I’m so scared why can’t he just get better. I’m sorry there’s not much details today I hope and went good news tomorrow 💙

My dd was in ITU recently and I can tell you that the care she received was outstanding. They really do look after them. Hope your son recovers soon.

@Xiaoxiong I did get some sleep and a bath did me the world of good. I guess my motto of a shower wipes the tears away is good.

Today he has been much the same they are worried about his urine or the amount comes out over what is going in. So they have put back in a catheter for a few days to keep an eye and to stop him wetting the bed. This is causing his pain and bleeding. They think he has a urine / kidney infection. They are also worried about his kidneys. Other than that he didn't really get out of the bed today they have started him on a blood thinner injection into his belly and keeping a close eye on him. The good news of today is he hasn't gotten much worse.

I managed to sleep and our daughter 12 is okay we brought her up this evening and she spent a few hours with him he perked up for the first hour she was here so I am happy with that, she is a little happier now she has seen him. I am staying tonight to leave my husband go home our daughter. I am a bit happier now today he has in their eyes "stabilised"
