Anyone else just got their BFP? After 15 months of trying I have finally got mine, I am so excited but terrified of the long nine months ahead. Will definitely be going for an early scan in December for some reassurance!

Hi OP

Congrats on your BFP Thanks
I got my BFP again on Monday after having an early miscarriage on 4th October. So hoping that this pregnancy goes well but trying not to get too excited until I've seen a heartbeat. Little unsure of my dates since I conceived again before having 1st AF so going to hold off going to EPAU for an early scan for another few weeks to save myself any unnecessary worry.

Hope your pregnancy goes well Smile

Hi Ladies, I too got my BFP yesterday, did a second test this morning to be sure. We too had a MC, this was a year ago as we decided t have some time out to process everything. Think we’ll too book in for an early scan. How are you ladies feeling?

ninemonthwait · 11/11/2019 13:55

Congrats on your BFPs ladies and so sorry to hear about your MC.

I am showing no signs of pregnancy yet! If it wasn't for the endless positive tests I have I wouldnt believe it!

How are you both? X

Hi!
I'm not really 'late' July EDD 16th July :)

Symptoms are very on and off but i already look very pregnant 😬😂 i showed extremely early with my daughter so I'm not surprised. Unfortunately i think it's too do with a medical condition of mine where i lack collagen so when my uterus begins to expand it had no resistance 🙈 so poof it's there
I know when i had my early scans (private then one due to bleed and 12 weeks) they were all shocked how far up my uterus was so early 🙈

Hello, not late but due 9th July! Has anyone had a blood test done? What where the HCG levels?

@farmmumtomillie Hi, your condition.. is it EDS hypermobility by any chance? I have this. X

Hi everyone, tentatively joining - got BFP at 13dpo this morning after 8 months of trying for #1 - keeping my fingers crossed that it sticks in place... If all goes well then due date is 22nd July. Trying not to get too excited as it's such early days, but I am absolutely thrilled to see two lines for the first time!

farmmumtomillie · 12/11/2019 12:32

Hi @Hayley94 i have Hypermobility yes! I'm not 'severe' enough for the new classification for EDS 🤷‍♀️ do you have it too? And do you show early?

HCG bloods at 3+6 or 96. Have you had yours done?

Hayley94 · 12/11/2019 12:58

@farmmumtomillie me and my 7 year old both have EDS. I was massive with him. Always had the "you sure your not having twins?" 😂

Had bloods at 4+5 which was 475 x

Hi everyone, I'm so new to all of this! Just joined the site today as I'm bursting to tell someone I got my BFP yesterday! My husband and I only agreed to start trying this month, around 2 weeks later i get this news. I'm in such shock. I know I'm one of the lucky ones as lots try for such a long time but I'm so overwhelmed, scared and excited all at the same time! I calculated I'm due around 15th July. Anyone having symptoms yet? I had cramping and slight spotting yesterday which i think is implantation, fingers crossed. That and sore boobs!

Hi ladies can I join in too 😀
Congratulations to us all!! I got my BFP two days ago and confirmed today on a digital test. I tested early though so I am only 4 weeks today and according to my app it all goes well my due date is 21st July. Certainly hasn’t sunk in yet and I am feeling very anxious and don’t really know what to do as this is my first. Have you guys notified doctors etc yet?
Let’s hope for a healthy 9 months for all

Hello.... I think my due date is around the 8th of july. Had the odd sickness episodes and my hormones have been beyond crazy!! This is our 2nd baby and getting the pouch already... I don't know why but I'm really anxious this time around? It's like because I already have my little boy I know what I could lose? Is that normal or am i being really silly? Xx

I notified my doctors to find out that I had to refer myself to midwife. Have done that today and my booking appointment is 4th dec which seems sooo far away!! Congratulations!! I too caught really quickly both times and we were shocked lol x

Not referred to doctors yet as only 4 weeks on the dot and want to wait a little til I'm sure it won't be chemical.

Symptoms-wise - back pain. Back pain back pain fucking back pain. I'm sure it's not that bad, or rather, I'm sure it'll get worse, but my hips and lower back start aching once I've been in any position for a few minutes. Really hoping my body gets used to softer ligaments quickly! Congrats to all - really hope everything goes well for everyone Smile

Hi all, I got my first ever BFP last week on 6th Nov after my second round of IVF with ICSI. Did a second test at the weekend as the first was quite faint, I was hugely relieved that the line had got a lot darker.
Think my due date works out at 13th July. Still quite nervous as it's such early days. As I've had fertility treatment I get an early scan at 8 weeks which is Dec 2nd, seems too far away still!
Main symptom so far is wanting to eat carbs all the time and a bit of constipation (sorry TMI!) but that's partly because I'm taking extra progesterone.
Hope everyone is okay :-)

@MrsPotts85 congrats on it working out so quickly, that must be a relief for you.

@betsy26051 I don't have any other children as this is my first pregnancy but I think it's not surprising to be going through all sorts of emotions right now, especially as our hormones are all over the place.
I need to send a referral through to the midwife, was going to do it later this week.

Hi! I’m new! I got my BFP on the 26th Oct, think I’m due around early July and this is my first pregnancy. I alternate between wanting to yak and wanting to eat everything throughout the day 😩

Hello and congratulations everyone!! I also found out that I'm pregnant and due on 17th July. I'm very anxious and trying to relax but it's difficult. I had a miscarriage this year too so trying not to get too excited! Symptoms wise - Lower back pain, had a day or two of spotting around when my period was due, sore boobs and quite hungry!

Congrats everyone on the BFPs! It's such a nervous wait trying not to plan ahead! I have an early scan on the 5th December as was just starting with Letrozole so hopefully that can put my mind at rest a bit. We are hoping to share the news with family on Christmas day - anyone else?

Yes, us too! It will kill me to wait this long to tell the mums especially but this is the first Christmas that we are all spending the day together (ie both sets of parents in the same house), this was planned before we found out the news so we figured it would be perfect. I'm so excited for christmas now!

Hi everyone, tentatively joining with EDD around 22nd July. DS was 2 weeks late though so probably looking at an August baby x

@MrsPotts85 it is so hard keeping quiet isn't it but with Christmas around the corner it will make it special. Do you know how you are going to announce? Is this your first?

Hi all, I got mine today. Been ttc for 2 years so it’s a shock at last. Due 8th July but can’t get a midwife app until 17th December. I’m tired, no other symptoms. Congratulations all x

Congratulations to all those that have joined in the last few days. How are you all feeling? I'm paranoid about every symptom, wish I could relax a bit but I think the fertility treatment has been a series of rollercoasters so my emotions jump around a bit!
Getting some mild abdominal pain today, doubt it's anything serious but it's distracting me somewhat!
Went to the gym and did some gentle exercise last night but feel like my pubic bone/pelvis hurts a bit on walking today, maybe pulled something, but again just keep worrying about it! Otherwise I am just getting a lot of tiredness.
Hope everyone else is okay :-)

My EDD is the 23rd. It'll be my 3rd (I'm 39, with very big age gaps).

DS2 was two weeks late too and I'd anticipate a late one this time around too.

I have started to feel low level nausea pretty much all day, and I'm super sensitive to smell and temperature changes. I've also started to feel really tired today and noticed that exercise feels harder than it did last week. Cycling to and from work felt a total slog and the Pilates class I did today was harder than usual. I keep yawning all the time.
