Bit cheeky as my due date is May 30th, hope no one minds. Blush

The May group seems quite established. I've been slow to come to back to the Mumsnet fold, did not expect to fall first month trying.

Really excited to hear about all your lovely BFP's and share our pregnancy journeys. Smile

Got my BFP today. Expecting my 2nd. DS was a May '18 baby.

In the same boat with end of May/start of June - i ovulated earlier this month so 2 different dates dependig on conception or last period date.

due date between 31st may - 2nd june :)

MamaPeas · 21/09/2019 07:50

Hey @Anny27, my first is a May 31st baby. Are you expecting your first or have you got DC'a already?

Kittypillar · 21/09/2019 07:59

Snap @MamaPeas - this is baby number 2 for me as well and my first DD is also a May 2018 baby! Smile

Due on 1st of June this time.

Anny27 · 21/09/2019 08:04

@MamaPeas its our first baby 😊

End of may/start of June seems like a good time of year for babies then :p

MamaPeas · 21/09/2019 08:19

Hey @Kittypillar! I love that we have so many May 2018 Mammas!
I mean I might be biased @Anny27 but I think it's a good time of year. Not too hot for most of your pregnancy but warm enough to justify flip flops just as you get to the point where bending down to put on shoes is just not ok any more. 😂
Although no more heatwaves please 😭

You guys having many symptoms? Apparently a pregnancy symptom for me is being ridiculously clumsy. I keep dropping things and nearly cut my thumb off last night. I remember this from last time.

Anny27 · 21/09/2019 14:15

@MamaPeas my boobs are slightly bigger and i have been a bit nauseous! Did you have sickness in your last pregnancy?

MamaPeas · 21/09/2019 14:27

Fortunately not @Anny27, I didn't have many symptoms. Took me ages to feel pregnant. I could do with my boobs getting a bit fuller if not bigger. They've seemed pretty empty the last few months after all the BF in the early days. I still BF but not nearly as often.

@mamapeas i am sure they will fill out in no time :D

Are you telling family and friends or waiting untill 12 weeks?

Whatnext11 · 21/09/2019 20:52

My app says due date 28th May but yes the May group seem very established and I can't remember who everyone is! @anny27 hello from the TTC thread!
I am telling 2 friends who have been aware things have been tough, family and the rest will wait until 12 weeks I think... We'll see!

MamaPeas · 21/09/2019 21:07

Hey @Whatnext11 welcome along! When did you get your BFP?

I'm rubbish at keeping it quiet @Anny27 I told DH today. Will def tell some friends before 12 weeks. Family is a touch more complicated. I would tell my family ASAP, but DH will want to tel his mum at the same time and they haven't spoken in a while.

By the way I've set up a Facebook group if any one is interested.

www.facebook.com/groups/495865860991539/

It's private with the view to making it unsearchable at some point. I've set it up so there are a couple of question to answer, just to try and keep it from getting too big and unmanageable and so we know roughly who people are.

Glad you have made it onto a pregnancy thread too @whatnext11 :)

We told our SIL and brother today (they are also expecting so wanted to chat haha)

But will probably wait till 12 weeks to tell everyone else

@MamaPeas was DH excited? :D

MamaPeas · 21/09/2019 22:24

Yeah really excited @Anny27, he keeps giving me this soppy look now. Hasn't asked when we are due though. 😂😂

Hi 👋 hoping to join you all! Got my BFP yesterday & calculated due date as 1st of June! Baby number 3 for me but still feeling a bit anxious & overwhelmed!

DeviousBrie · 22/09/2019 11:00

Tentatively joining as well - due date is coming up as last days of May. But I don't want to get carried away as I had 2 MC last year and would be 41 in May. So taking one day at a time. Would be child #1.

Enwi · 22/09/2019 13:33

I think it’s a good time of year too- easy to hide the bump in early pregnancy with big jumpers, coats, scarves etc, baby born just in time for Father’s Day (so no present needed Grin), you have the summer with a newborn so easy to dry the endless amounts of washing a newborn brings, don’t have to bring 50 layers with you everywhere, first Christmas they are such fun... list goes on!

Welcome to all new arrivals. One day at a time sounds like a good approach. Today I am pregnant, and today my test line is darker than yesterday Smile

MamaPeas · 22/09/2019 15:39

Congratulations and welcome @Dinomamaof2 & @DeviousBrie

I totally agree with @Enwi one day at a time and lots of love and support.

Hi everyone. Can I tentatively join you? I’m still in shock! Got this today at 10dpo. I’m going to do another few tests (or 20) this week before I even tell DH as according to app I’m not due until Wednesday. Fingers crossed it’s not a chemical as seems so early to get excited

Anny27 · 22/09/2019 21:10

Congrats @justinkase :) great line for 10dpo.

I am really struggling with being super hungry but also not having an appetite :( gonna have to find high calorific food to keep me going

MamaPeas · 22/09/2019 21:17

Ooo that's a lovely line @Justinkase. I know what you mean about being in shock. I'm still not convinced this is happening. I did another yeast today and I keep looking at it to check it's for really! Is this your first, or do you have DC already?

Whatnext11 · 23/09/2019 07:20

Morning everyone, got a nauseous feeling yesterday and thought here it starts! A mint helped, and early lunch!
Finding it hard not to worry about MC, all I'm thinking about atm.

Anny27 · 23/09/2019 07:30

Same @whatnext11 keep going to the toilet to check for any blood. Think its very normal to be worried but still not nice :(

I have been feeling super hungry!
