Bit cheeky as my due date is May 30th, hope no one minds. Blush

The May group seems quite established. I've been slow to come to back to the Mumsnet fold, did not expect to fall first month trying.

Really excited to hear about all your lovely BFP's and share our pregnancy journeys. Smile

Got my BFP today. Expecting my 2nd. DS was a May '18 baby.

Thanks @Anny27, been reading lots of the other boards and it's just making me worry more. Also feel really weepy this morning!
Like you, eating more snacks - but that may just be an excuse!

MamaPeas · 23/09/2019 08:32

I'm the same @Anny27 & @Whatnext11, took me a while to relax last time.

Whatnext11 · 23/09/2019 08:35

Thanks @mamapeas, at what point did you feel more relaxed? Want to be happy and excited but worried atm.

MamaPeas · 23/09/2019 08:41

I didn't have any symptoms which I found tricky. I mean I'd rather not feel rubbish all the time but it was hard to feel pregnant. Finally feeling movements really helped. I felt like I worried for ages but having a support network of people to talk it through with really helped. I found Mumsnet and the subsequent Facebook group we started really helpful as people were going through the same thing.

Hi, ladies I'm also due in June but because I'm diabetic it will be somewhere around May I hopefully would give birth in.

I also do a lot of knicker checking because of the diabetes making me high risk and having lots of discharge. No other symptoms. Just extra pregnancy discharge. I have 2 dc and I have had it with them, so I know it is normal. But I still dislike it.

MamaPeas · 23/09/2019 16:26

Hi @Notnowokay welcome and congrats. Sorry to hear about the diabetes do you get extra checks etc because of it? How old are your other two DC's?

@mamaPeas the diabetes thing is fine, we get lot of extra care & more scans. Pregnancy makes diabetes go crazy so I'm very grateful for the nhs. My children are 6 & 3. My youngest was a rainbow baby and I learnt a lot of coping strategies from his pregnancy. I listened to lot of mindfulness videos on YouTube to help me sleep through my worst nights.

I'm nowhere near that at this moment of time. I'm just busy being busy with life. I work part time at the weekend and the week days is busy with taking kids to school and after school clubs and the youngest to 3hr nursery a day. I'm reaching my walking targets thanks to the children. I gained weight during the summer so I should lose some now. We spent a lot of time baking and decorating over the summer hoilday. Which expanded my body a bit. Lol. The kids were ok as I took them regularly to the park where they ran and played whilst I sat on a bench watching them play together. Is that a sign of lazy parenting or was I encouraging independence from an early age? Who knows? I'm hoping the latter.

Hi! Please can I join you all?

I got my first ever BFP on 18/09 at 9DPO / 3+2 (according to Natural Cycles) ...the app says I'm due 2nd June although others say 29th May (my birthday!)

I've been feeling so tired and my boobs feel tender and heavy. I think they've doubled in size already! I've also had some cramping/pulling that seems to be getting more noticeable. Not sure if I should be concerned about this? I asked a friend and she suggested I look on Mumsnet... and so here I am! X

Anny27 · 24/09/2019 06:31

@chloeandco welcome :) i think cramping in early pregnancy is normal as your uterus it growing (thats what i have read anyway!)

I am also getting some cramps. My apps say due between 31st may - 2nd june :)

Whatnext11 · 24/09/2019 07:23

@chloeandco also getting cramps like period pain - though I used to get one day like this then one awful painful day. This is just like 'day before' cramps. So weird, it made me rule out pregnancy as I thought AF was coming. I also read it's making room!

MamaPeas · 24/09/2019 08:23

Hey @chloeandco congrats on your BFP! Is this your first?

I have had cramping and pulling I didn't experience the first time but seems fairly standard fro what others have said.

Hi, can I join please?
Currently 11DPO but been getting positives since 8DPO! Due 5/06 Smile
Wasn't sure whether to get involved or not as this is straight after a MC at 7 weeks. Hoping this one sticks 🤞🏼

Anny27 · 24/09/2019 15:10

Welcome @mumofonee :) fingers crossed that this is your month :)

You must have implanted fairly early as well. I am currenty 4+2 (16dpo)

MamaPeas · 24/09/2019 16:17

So sorry about your mc @MumOfOnee, glad you've joined us. I think there are others in a similar position. I'm glad we can all support each other.

Hi all due 1st June too. Have one ds who is 18 months and 2 miscarriages before him so feeling nervous!

MamaPeas · 24/09/2019 20:16

Hi @Tigger83, Congrats on the BFP. Sorry about your mc's, feeling nervous is completely understandable. Any symptoms yet?

OP posts:
Whatnext11 · 24/09/2019 21:03

@notnowok baking, decorating and the park sounds an ideal summer. The kids I know would love that.
@tigger83 glad you have joined us, so sorry to hear about your MCs too, must be tough with a little one around as you sort of have to keep going I imagine.
@mumofonee really hope this one is a sticky one for you.

LillianFullStop · 24/09/2019 22:37

Hello everyone! Just got my BFP today and due date is 1-June! DD1 is almost 3.

My first PG was a missed miscarriage at 11w so quite cautious and trying not to get too excited yet...

Tigger83 · 25/09/2019 07:07

Just underlying queasiness all day and weird dreams. I'm also getting the stretching pains, sore boobs and being knackered!

MamaPeas · 25/09/2019 07:55

Ooo weird dreams @Tigger83, that explains them! Weird dreams that lead to insomnia 🤦🏼‍♀️

Congrats @LillianFullStop, sorry to hear about your previous mc.

OP posts:
Whatnext11 · 25/09/2019 08:21

Weird dreams here too!
Welcome @Lillianfullstop sorry to hear about your previous MC, can't imagine how tough that will have been. Glad you have your BFP, hope it sticks

LillianFullStop · 25/09/2019 16:11

Thank you @MamaPeas and @Whatnext11 !

I am thinking of booking an early scan for reassurance @ 7-8 weeks

Anny27 · 25/09/2019 17:07

@LillianFullStop i am thinking of booking an early scan however would like to avoid an internal scan if possible as i've previously suffered with pain when it comes to exams like that! I am thinkin at 8 weeks they may be able to see what they need to see with an external ultrasound

Coffeemum1 · 25/09/2019 20:32
