Bit cheeky as my due date is May 30th, hope no one minds. Blush

The May group seems quite established. I've been slow to come to back to the Mumsnet fold, did not expect to fall first month trying.

Really excited to hear about all your lovely BFP's and share our pregnancy journeys. Smile

Got my BFP today. Expecting my 2nd. DS was a May '18 baby.

And congrats to new joiners! 💐

kateob2 · 02/10/2019 21:02

I found out last week that I am due baby number 2 on June 10th which makes me just over 4 weeks pregnant. The only symptoms I have are sore boobs and am a bit more tired than usual. I am concerned that I have no nausea or food aversions yet that I had in my last pregnancy. Just wondering what symptoms every one else has? It's so hard not to be anxious and to just enjoy being pregnant.

Anny27 · 02/10/2019 21:07

@kateob2 congratulations:D

I am 5 and a half weeks and i have sore boobs, tiredness and had some cramping last week. No real nausea as of yet!

Whatnext11 · 02/10/2019 22:43

@kateob2 sounds a bit early for symptoms, I wouldn't worry. I started getting period type pain at that sort of point but nothing else til a little later. Some have no symptoms ever. Congratulations!!

kateob2 · 03/10/2019 05:43

Thanks for replies, it's been 3 years since I was pregnant with my little boy and I've completely forgotten when the sickness started, just remember feeling rotten! Never actually got sick though thankfully.

MrsNH1 · 03/10/2019 09:34

Hi ladies! I’d love to join your group! I’m currently 5+3 and feeling quite good. I don’t really have any symptoms, not even sore boobs! I had quite bad cramping week 4 but that seems to have settled now. I suffered a MC back in July so as well as feeling so grateful and excited I’m quite anxious!x

MamaPeas · 03/10/2019 13:59

Welcome along @MrsNH1 and @KCoulibaly.

Sounds like your digestive system is giving you trouble @KCoulibaly, I think the extra progesterone slows everything down which is annoying. I've been struggling with constipation and stomach pain.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mc @MrsNH1, hope this pregnancy goes smoothly.

Hey everyone and congratulations! Smile
Please can I join? I found out today that I’m 4 weeks. Age 30 and first baby! Still in shock!!
Symptoms wise I have sore boobs and what feels like a lump in my throat/acid reflux type thing. Slight nausea too.

I’m in a bit of an odd situation in that DP and I are currently in India and travelling round SE Asia for the next 3 months. So will be interesting now being pg! How is everyone feeling?

LillianFullStop · 04/10/2019 20:16

Welcome @MilsCookie! 3 months in India for first trimester will definitely be interesting! Have you looked into options to get your first trimester appointments privately somewhere there?

5+4 here and super tired and feeling sleepy in the afternoons but unfortunately with an almost 3 year old napping is not an option. Lots of stretching type cramps which is odd I didn't get those much later with my first.

Sorry about your mc @MrsNH1 I can understand it would make you quite anxious Thanks

PepePig · 04/10/2019 23:12

Hope you don't mind if I join! I found out today I'm expecting DC2 Smile. Still in shock/can't quite believe it's happening. Think it'll take a week until it's fully sank in.

Very anxious because I had DD in January (I did want them close together), but I had a hard birth. Definitely don't want to scare anyone off here, but it's just something I'll need to work on. Ringing the GP on Monday to get booked in Smile

MilsCookie · 05/10/2019 03:37

Thank you @LillianFullStop !! Well because we’re travelling, we’re not really going to be in one place for long. Travelling down the coast from Goa to Kerala for 4 weeks and then will be flying to Sydney to see some family (not immediate) for 10 days. I will be 9-10 weeks by then all being well...so I’m going to look into having a scan there. We may end up having to cut the trip short!

MissSparkles81 · 05/10/2019 08:10

Good morning everyone!

Hoping that it is ok to join in! I just got mu bfp this morning. Im 38 and this is my 1st baby.

We have been trying for 7 months so its exciting and scary all at the same time. I used one of the first response 6 days early tests so hoping for a sticky baby!Smile

MamaPeas · 05/10/2019 08:47

Congrats to the new BFP's.

Can you let your GP back home know @MilsCookie so you can get booked in as soon as you get back? What amazing stories you are going to have to tell little one when they grow up. Found out in India, first scan in Australia. I love it.

Congratulations @MissSparkles81 I'm 38 too and expecting my second.

I'm so sorry you had a hard birth @PepePig, have been able to go in to the hospital and talk it through at all?

MrsNH1 · 05/10/2019 10:44

Hi 37! And this is my first also! :)

MilsCookie · 05/10/2019 11:36

Thanks @MamaPeas! Congratulations to you too on your second! Yeah I should have some cool stories to tell them! Smile I probably should phone my GP, but the problem is they are based in London and when we move back we don’t intend to get jobs/live in London again! So I have no idea where I’ll be!! This is why it’s such bad timing 😬 but I feel so happy and lucky that it’s happened so easily that I don’t want to complain!

Percephone · 05/10/2019 13:25

Hello! Can I tentatively join please? Just got a faint positive this afternoon. I'm also 38 and it will be no 3 for me!

PepePig · 05/10/2019 15:01

@MamaPeas

Thanks Smile. I haven't but I think at my booking appointment I'll mention my anxiety to my midwife and see what options are available to me. I have a lot of decisions to make (VBAC or elective c section etc) but I'm trying not to stress until after the 12 week scan.

It's such an exciting time Grin. How are you finding things?

DulcetMoans · 06/10/2019 10:30

Can I sneak in? BFP yesterday, due today. Child number two but this has happened much quicker. Had issues the first time so will be a bumpy few weeks!

I'll read back throughout the day and see who we have in here!

MissSparkles81 · 06/10/2019 18:46

Thank you all for the lovely welcome Smile

DulcetMoans · 06/10/2019 19:05

How is everyone feeling this weekend then?

Have people worked out proper due dates yet?

MilsCookie · 06/10/2019 19:58

Hello all! @DulcetMoans I am feeling full of cold! Probably completely unrelated but it’s making me feel exhausted! Also have sore boobs, on and off cramps and mild nausea. How are you feeling?

Due date wise I’m not exactly sure when I ovulated but I think it was around 18th September... so going by that as date of conception which means 10th June is the due date!! What about everyone else? Smile

PepePig · 06/10/2019 20:01

@DulcetMoans

SICK. So very sick. Vomited earlier which was delightful and thought I was in for round two about an hour ago, but managed to keep my dinner down. I have a feeling I'm in for a rough twelve weeks (although I'm very lucky I have 12 weeks of maternity left so I should be able to ride out the sickness at home, yes!)

No idea on due dates because my periods have been all over the show since February. I'll have to wait until the 12 week scan until I know. I've roughly guessed it'll be around the second of June, but that's a wild ball park number.

Whatnext11 · 07/10/2019 07:42

Anyone got advice about morning sickness? Been feeling nauseous did a few weeks, but now moved on to being sick. Tried to eat this morning, threw up. Had a shower, tried a little bit if ginger tea, threw up again. My question is after I've been sick, what then - do I wait a bit before trying to eat or drink? Feeling generally awful, so calling in sick today, but can't do that every day!

DulcetMoans · 07/10/2019 08:23

@whatnext - that doesn't sound fun. Is it just in the morning you are sick or whenever? I know I had a friend who kept some digestives next to the bed to nibble one before she even moved which helped in the mornings. And drink lots of water.

@pepepig - how will you know when it's time for the 12 week scan?! Haha. I wonder how they work it out if cycles are unclear.

@milscookie - sounds like a full house of symptoms there mostly. Hope you're being looked after.

Not much symptoms here really. tired but that's standard and cramps a bit but could have mistaken them for period cramps if I hadn't done the test.

Think we are looking at 14th June. Been looking at when I might be able to leave work already! 😅

Anny27 · 07/10/2019 08:59

@DulcetMoans my edd is 31st may! How about you?

@whatnext11 sorry you have been sick :( i havent had nausea yet so not got advice sorry lovely
