Bit cheeky as my due date is May 30th, hope no one minds. Blush

The May group seems quite established. I've been slow to come to back to the Mumsnet fold, did not expect to fall first month trying.

Really excited to hear about all your lovely BFP's and share our pregnancy journeys. Smile

Got my BFP today. Expecting my 2nd. DS was a May '18 baby.

It's so weird wanting to eat different things to normal! I'm on savory rather than sweet which isn't me at all. Wanting meat and crisps! What's everyone having for breakfast? I'd normally have something sweet like jam on toast but not fancying it much at the moment. Trying to eat first thing for the nausea.

justanothergurl · 01/10/2019 08:55

I had sultana bran as usual but didn't finish it. Not keen on food at all right now. Is anyone else worried about a lack of symptoms? I'm only 3+5 so I know it's very early but keep worrying it means something will go wrong.

Anny27 · 01/10/2019 09:02

@justanothergurl i am 5+2 and only really have sore boobs and some cravings. I think most symptoms start week 6 or 7 :)

I did have cramping in weeks 3-5

MamaPeas · 01/10/2019 09:04

I often have poached eggs on toast @Whatnext11 although I'm off them at the moment. I've been having Bircher muesli.

I had pretty much zero symptoms last time @justanothergurl. It was only when I started feeling movement that I felt pregnant.

Thanks everyone. It was only 3.5 years ago I was pregnant with my son but I cant remember anything Blush

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 01/10/2019 09:22

@justanothergurl I’m about 4+1 and no symptoms but I’m not worried. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong, in fact I had way more symptoms in my second pregnancy than my first, and my second ended in miscarriage.

Finding the anxiety difficult to cope with. I don’t want to phone the midwife but should probably just get it over with!

justanothergurl · 01/10/2019 14:02

Hi @Dullblue :) how are you doing?

Dullblue · 01/10/2019 14:14

@mamapeas @justanothergurl

Yes it is my first! Luckily one of my very close friends has an 18 month old, so she is helping with some of my silly questions!

Had some awful sickness this morning, but putting that down to taking my pregnacare vits on an empty stomach 🙈 DOH!!

Have sent a request to the group!

Sunshine300 · 01/10/2019 14:59

@MamaPeas I've just sent a request too.

Wave of exhaustion this afternoon. Took a nap when my little one did today. Happily ignoring housework.

Congrats @Dullblue!

DeviousBrie · 01/10/2019 21:00

5+6 today. I don't have many symptoms, just sore boobs. l may have a slight craving to potatoes 🥔 (including unsalted potato crisps) but trying to continue healthy diet 😁

I won't join FB group until later if I get there, so hopefully some discussion continues in this group as well 🤞

LillianFullStop · 01/10/2019 21:24

Thanks @MamaPeas! I think I might wait until my first scan before the join the FB group Star

Anyone have their booking in appointment yet? Mine is on 31st and I'll be 9+3

Anny27 · 01/10/2019 21:28

@LillianFullStop mine is on 25th oct and i will be 8+5 :)

justanothergurl · 01/10/2019 21:41

When suddenly everyone make their booking in appointments? I'm not sure whether it's too early.

MamaPeas · 01/10/2019 21:52

I've self referred to the hospital and got my scan date. I call the GP today and I'm seeing the doctor next week.

I need to call GP to get referred to midwife. This is actually on my to do list tomorrow.. so will be probably after 8 weeks.

justanothergurl · 01/10/2019 22:46

I have no idea why i wrote suddenly Confused I meant to say when did everyone refer to their midwife.

In our area you dont see a GP, you go directly to the community midwives.

LillianFullStop · 01/10/2019 22:53

@justanothergurl I self referred to my hospital and they called me to make an appointment within a couple of days. I guess it depends on your hospital but mine didn't need a GP referral.

KCoulibaly · 02/10/2019 07:33

Just officially made myself a member of mumsnet! I took 13 tests 5 days ago and Al were positive and clear blue s aid I'm 1-2 weeks but having going doctors 2 days ago I found out I'm 5 weeks. I have now had morning sickness twice but I've gotten a severe pain on my lower abdomen (lasts 15-20 minutes I literally cry and slam the door shut) to the point I went to the out of hours doctors but he said he can hear a lot of bowel movements so I think everything is good if anything it could be natural as my body has to change. I'm 19 and in my last year of college doing social science so hope to finish is off as June the 1st is my due date ❤️ I am so excited yet nervous as my partner will hopefully be around my mums supportive but my dad isn't! Flowers

Anny27 · 02/10/2019 12:58

@KCoulibaly congratulations:) i am sure your dad will come round to your news:)

DeviousBrie · 02/10/2019 14:45

Got my midwife appt booked for 20th Oct when I'm 8+3 or so.
