Congratulations to all who have had their babies, and hold in there for all those who haven't. Still can't quite believe that I'm over a week in to this while having a baby lark given how far down the list I am with my "due" date.

Thanks to those with advice regarding pram yesterday. We put him at the top when we went out (twice!) yesterday & that was so much better, could see him and everything. Still need to work out how the rain cover attaches though given the weather here today, as don't really want the first time we have to do it to be when we are properly out in the rain with him.

I think I might have lost part of my mucus plug today? @assumeitwassomethingclever - I had EWCM the past few days, just thought it was normal? I’ve been having backache similar to period pain the last day or so but trying not to symptom spot too much. Probs got the back pain from hoovering anyway!

@Sictransitgloria I've been having period like pain too. I'm trying not to symptom spot as well but it's so difficult not to! DH thinks I'm still too small and Spritely to be anywhere near "ready to drop" and thinks I'm going to go as over as they'll let me go. Really hoping I'm going to prove him wrong. 😂

I'm symptom spotting like crazy, as far as I'm concerned everything is a sign labour is imminent and then I'm hugely disappointed. Groin pain is so bad I can barely walk so I'm spending so much time just sitting down its ridiculous. Also so, so, so bored of just watching TV.

Sleeping really badly and having scary or bizarre dreams. Last night I dreamt I could see a ghost in DS's room on his monitor, that freaked me right the hell out when I woke up.

@assumeitwassomethingclever It is so hard not to symptom spot! I was supposed to drive from Hampshire to London today to see my family but kinda glad I didn’t now (weather). Feeling quite crappy today. @jenfur I’m sorry you are having a tough time with pelvic pain. I have had groin pain today - really sharp especially if I get up/roll from side to side. Had some discomfort before but nothing like this. Fed up today!

@assumeitwassomethingclever you never know, it seems some people just never get to the stage where they feel that pregnant. I certainly didn't and in the hours before the contractions started (after we had concluded that my mucus plug had def gone) we had a discussion about when I'd start to feel different/too big/tired of the commute etc. I've been speaking to my mum and she said the same about when she was pregnant with us. I was a week early, my brother was almost 2 weeks late. I had period esque pains for a couple of days which I'd concluded was potentially my body getting ready, but nothing major or that I had thought anything of at the time as it was only week 36.

Sorry that you ladies are all really struggling, it sounds awful - not sure how I'd cope sitting around just waiting for something to happen.

@BadBadBeans just saw your other post, so glad the doctors appointment went well and was really a better outcome than your imagined. Enjoy focusing on baby moving forward without the additional worries and breastfeeding concerns that you would have had.

Just woke up from a nap... So glad my mum is here!!!! 18 hours until we are due in for induction and no sign madam is going to make her own appearance.

So after our earlier chat about having big cries I’ve just had an absolute sob fest because my Mom changed her plans about coming over without even consulting me. Got the violin out about being lonely/bored and that my family have been useless throughout this pregnancy. Being a saddo because I’d got the house all looking nice to show my Mom our progress. Text DH and he reminded me we’re still on to see Captain Marvel tonight and I’ve eaten some cake.

@Gronk27 I too have had another sob this afternoon about feeling lonely and then I went for a wee and I think a saw a very small start to a bloody show?? Now I'm over thinking it and deciding that maybe my mind is playing tricks on me

Definitely frustrating being bored/lonely, I text DM to see what she was up to this afternoon and she said seeing friends, I replied 'always with your friends aren't you' feeling rather bad now! Had a pretty good day today though feel like I haven't stopped. Currently chilling on the sofa with DS waiting for DH to get home from work. Feeling uncomfortable and little miss is quietly kicking away. Could really do with a nap now though 😴

I'm having some pains around the top/middle of my bump/back on and off and a lot of movement very very low down. I thought it was possibly the position I was in so I've changed a couple times and it's still happening.. I have no idea what labour pains will feel like so 🤷🏻‍♀️
