Hello! Peeking in cautiously!
Ridiculously early days here, my period isn’t due til Halloween! I got an extremely faint positive yesterday, and a still faint but definitely there positive today. Haven’t told dh yet! Edd 10th of July I think.
It will be dc 3 for me too (outnumbered!). I have a dd7 and ds 2 Smile

edinburghlass1991 · 26/10/2018 07:48

I hope we will be joined soon by others. My boobs are killing me today it’s a good sign I guess

Hi guys can I tentatively join. I got a positive yesterday after over 3 years of trying and a miscarriage, we were due to start IVF on this coming cycle 😬 no symptoms at the min

Belmo · 26/10/2018 10:11

Congratulations Starryeyed, that’s amazing!!
I am actually feeling really sick; I had no early symptoms at all with my last two pregnancies though so maybe I’ve just got a bug!

Frazzlerock · 26/10/2018 11:34

Hi everyone.
I'm due roughly 30th June/early July but freaking out as my last two pregnancies ended in MMC and MC. I'm only 5 weeks tomorrow, we found out last Saturday

Fingers crossed for everyone here

edinburghlass1991 · 26/10/2018 11:50

Congrats starryeyed that’s fab news. You must be in complete shock!

Hi my last pregnancy ended in missed miscarriage as well. I’d be getting a scan at 7 weeks

Hi can I join? Due 1st July. Already have one DC age 2. Been having lots of digestive issues as an early symptom and peeing on a stick every day since BFP to check it's still there lol

Frazzlerock · 26/10/2018 13:53

Sorry to hear that @edinburghlass1991 I'm hoping for a scan at 6-7 weeks, just waiting for my appointment letter to come through.

I'm not having that many symptom yet, just insane thirst/dry mouth and constantly in the loo. Boobs get a shooting pain (more discomfort than pain) every now and again and I'm quite tired by the afternoon.

Have you told anyone? I've told my mum, my team at work as they know I have been so desperate for my rainbow baby and I couldn't possibly keep it quiet, especially with all the loo trips! Plus I need to take it really easy so need to WFH more.

I've also told a couple of friends, also because they know I've wanted this for 2.5 years since we lost our little ones.

As you can see, I'm not very good at keeping secrets!

Starryeyed1001 · 26/10/2018 14:47

In massive shock! Didn’t know whether to laugh or cry! Congrats to everyone here so far and sorry for the losses you have experienced x

Frazzlerock · 26/10/2018 14:54

Same to you @Starryeyed1001

Did you do anything different?

I cut down hugely on dairy, gluten and sugar (I have PCOS) plus I took inositol daily. Maybe a coincidence! But I like to think it helped. I also used OvuSense which I've decided is a miracle device Grin as I only used it for one cycle.

Either way, I am over the moon and deliriously happy but hugely apprehensive at the same time.

Congratulations to everyone here! I hope more than anything in the world that we all make it to the end

crakpot1 · 26/10/2018 15:24

Hi ladies, can I join in? I just got my BFP today! EDD 6th July so very early :) I have a DS who is 4, feeling tired and have a bit of lower back pain and boobs are killing me! Lol

Campurp · 26/10/2018 15:29

Hiya, I headed to the walk in clinic on Monday as I thought I had a UTI and found out I'm expecting my 1st! DH and I are so excited but I'm testing everyday as AF is due on 29/10 and I want to make sure all is well.
According to my calculations due date is 9th July, but I think it's really a week or so later.
I've had sore boobs, dizziness, headaches and fatigue for the past few weeks but mild cramps for the last 3-4 days on and off which I've heard is normal, but worries me.
Wishing you all healthy pregnancies Smile

Starryeyed1001 · 26/10/2018 16:35

@frazzlerock I didn’t do anything different at all, I had completely given up at this point, I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes! Expected due date is 4th July. Feeling so apprehensive especially after last time. Have spoken to the clinic (NHS) and basically if we are not successful this time we have to start all over again so fingers crossed x

TwinkleDay · 26/10/2018 16:49

Hi everyone congratulations on your BFPs I am new to all this and have been looking for some buddies to hopefully keep in touch on this journey and haven’t already got a trail 400 comments or more long.

I am 5 weeks and I haven’t told anyone yet except my OH I have got an appointment with my gp next Friday but after talking to a few people some people have only got an appointment straight off with the midwife? How are you ladies getting on with the first step and who are you booked in with?

XxX

Laburna · 26/10/2018 17:41

Hiya, I'm joining the gang due around the 1st/2nd I think. We've had a lot of M/C's and are in the middle of investigations with a consultant. Will be getting an early scan if it sticks. 🤞🤞

Can not stop poas at the moment! 😔

Starryeyed1001 · 26/10/2018 18:28

Haven’t booked in yet but when I do it will just be with the midwives x

Frazzlerock · 26/10/2018 18:37

I've been to the GP so I'm just waiting for my early scan due to MCs.

I've had an emergency section, an elective for a breach birth, plus two losses so I expect I'll be going in for another c-section.
Kind of sad that I'll never experience full childbirth and it really bothered me when I found out that DS2 was breach. But now I've had two MCs I don't care. I just want a healthy live baby. Take them out of my ear if it will keep them alive!

Frazzlerock · 26/10/2018 18:38

I meant to say, in that case I'll be consultant led.

My dream of a water birth has long passed

edinburghlass1991 · 26/10/2018 20:40

I got a call from the epc with a scan date for the 26 th nov I’d be 8ish weeks by then they also made me a midwife appointment for the 22nd nov and 12 week scan on the 21ist of dec

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 26/10/2018 21:23

Oh god, not until you're 8 weeks!?

Laburna · 26/10/2018 21:34

8 weeks is a long way off, but if your dates are out then you'll still be able to see something, if you go at 7 weeks or 6 weeks and your dates are out there may be nothing to see and then you may spend a week or two stressing about nothing....🤷🏻‍♀️

Belmo · 26/10/2018 22:03

I haven’t told anyone yet! I’ll just book in with the midwife I think, but I’ll wait til my period is officially late at least. I have lost count of the number of sticks I’ve peed on today!! I need them taking off me.
Sorry to hear of people’s losses. I had a massive bleed at seven weeks with ds so am a bit anxious to get past that point, can’t imagine how anxious previous mc’s must make you - I hope we all have a boring few weeks until scam time!

Belmo · 26/10/2018 22:03

I’m excited there’s a few of us now!

Frazzlerock · 26/10/2018 22:20

I don't think I could wait until 8 weeks. My anxieties are through the roof and I'm only 5 weeks tomorrow.
I thought they'd scan at 6 weeks for women who've had MCs. This week has been the longest week, I can't imagine waiting a further 3 weeks 😓 I'll lose my mind
