I am not defending him in any way but I do think the whole perception is different for men, when we find out we are pregnant, that?s it, we are already Mums because all the changing is happening to us right from the beginning but for them, it?s almost like it?s not real until they can see it. Hey Barristermum sorry you had a wobble it?s a horrible feeling. Good luck for the scan I?m sure you?ll see all you should for 8+5 I shouldn?t think there will be stirrups! All my scans have been v dignified, even the internal ones. PMSL about your sleep walk!

Welcome and congratulations ledodgy! so glad all is going well. I love your thoughts for the future I want to feel brave enough to think about this baby beyond birth but I am struggling at the mo. I had a MC in March and had virtually imagined that baby grown up and the loss of what could have been was horrific. I am trying though, it is good for me I know
PCM ? sorry I missed your time of need hon It?s natural to worry, but when it gets too much, look around you at all those people milling around everyday, all pregnancies that went well What?s working for me is thinking in terms of dates rather than weeks, by 1 Sept my beanie should be safe (risk passes at 20 weeks for me) doesn?t seem as far away as 12 weeks! So sorry about the bleed, I know how scary it is no matter how you try to rationalise, sending huge hugs. Fabulous news that all went well at your scan great that they were able to tell you what the bleeding was from too. It?s nice to have a reason I didn?t get another scan as I had a scan the morning of the day it happened. Called this morning to see if they?ll do one before my holiday next Sat to put me at ease but they won?t MW was actually a bit short with me this morning she did apologise later as said she thought I was someone else who wasn?t high risk and just wanted reassurance ? I thought that was one of the purposes of the EPU?!

Hey BeckyAu ? that is a nice dilemma but pretty lousy timing for you! I LOVE spas Flying is fine but most of the stuff at the Spa you can do is a bit limited; the sauna, the Jacuzzi, massages, essential oils etc are out as you know. There will probably be a lovely pool though and the relaxing will do you lots of good how about phoning a Spa here and seeing what they would and wouldn?t recommend you do? lovely friends you have! BTW laughed at your comment to PCM about taking her shoulders out of her ears, mine are agony and that is exactly where my shoulders have been all week! God, I need a massage!
