Anyone else?

I have quite long cycles but using OPKs, I have a rough idea of when I ovulated and have just got the faintest of lines. So 30 April or 1 May for me! Eek.

I'm exactly the same, very faint positive a few days ago and if all goes well will be due around 30th April or 1st of May. I haven't missed a period yet, I have another test in the cupboard and I'm trying very hard to wait until af was due

LulaRose · 19/08/2018 14:24

Hello! I found out super early, at 8dpo and have been testing every day since and I'm very nervous because I had a chemical last month, but luckily it looks like all is progressing as it should. Due date would be 30th April 😊

Congratulations @Mejse and @LulaRose. I bought some ClearBlue pregnancy tests that tell you how many weeks since ovulation to try and point, and so far they match up to my opks. Will tell again next week and the week after.

@ByThePond thanks congratulations to you too :)

@LulaRose sorry about your chemical last month, it must be reassuring to see such good line progression this time round.

Do either of you have other children? This will be my second

blh23 · 19/08/2018 15:04

Hey guys,

Can I join? Just found out yesterday quite early 9dpo - date roughly around 4th May?

Hope everyone is feeling okay ❤️

LulaRose · 19/08/2018 15:52

@Bythepond Congratulations to you too :) I might also stop testing daily and go for the CB weekly ones!

@mejse This will also be my second. DS is 12 months old. How old is your first?

@blh23 Congratulations! How are you feeling?

I'm feeling very anxious - more so this time around than with DS. Physically I'm still feeling ok, besides occasional waves of nausea and being veeeery tired (but that could also be due to having a 1yo)!

blh23 · 19/08/2018 15:57

@LulaRose - really good thanks other than feeling bit sicky. How're you feeling? xo

Mejse · 19/08/2018 16:08

Congrats @blh23 :)

@LulaRose I have a Ds who is 19months. I also have a Dss, he is 10 and lives with us full time now. Being pregnant and chasing a 1 year old around is going to be hard work!

I was feeling so nauseous yesterday but it looks like I may have just caught the bug that Ds had at the start of the week because today I feel better

LulaRose · 20/08/2018 15:58

How is everyone doing today?

Something shifted in me, and a wave of calmness came over me and I'm not so panicked anymore. I have to trust that things will probably work out for the best.

Did a CB digi and got the 2-3 weeks (I'm only 4w today) so I'm really happy with that. Testing one more time next week to hopefully get the 3+ reading, and then I'm done! 😂

Went ahead and booked an early scan for my birthday (my 30th eeek!), when I'll be 6w6d and I'm really looking forward to it.

blh23 · 20/08/2018 16:15

Hey @LulaRose

Glad you're feeling much calmer! I'm so tempted to book an early scan! I go to Florida when I'll be 10 weeks'ish so I'd love to know things are grand before then!

Mejse · 20/08/2018 17:17

Glad to hear you are feeling calmer @LulaRose.

I gave in and tested again today and the line is much darker, my dh can actually see it on this one haha. I'm starting to let myself believe that I really am pregnant now. I spoke to my mum today and found it really hard not to say anything.

I might need to have a look at how much early scans cost where I am, 12 weeks seems like so long away!

sakuramiyagi · 20/08/2018 22:11

We got a surprise BFP today. DH is cool as a cucumber and I am a bag of nerves. I still can't believe it.

Does the fear pass? I'm hoping so as deep down I am super happy.

UntilTheVeryEnd · 20/08/2018 22:44

Hello to all you lovely ladies! Can I please join you?

I had my coil removed nearly 5 week ago and got my BFP on Friday... I never had a period just a very tiny tiny withdrawal bleed that lasted like 3 hours. Thinking I’ll be due on or around 30th April/1st May Smile

This is DC3 for me, I already have DD (aged 4) and DS (aged 18 month) ... fun times ahead for us all!

Congratulations to all on their BFP xx

blh23 · 21/08/2018 07:53

@UntilTheVeryEnd congratulations lovely! Hope you're feeling okay 😊 x

Turtle05 · 21/08/2018 12:47

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining you?

Am on a long holiday and have had a positive test - EDD 25th April so about 4 weeks and 5 days.

Husband and I are both very excited but probably more nervous at the moment!

Boobs feel massive and I'm getting pretty bad cramping - hoping this is normal? X

ByThePond · 21/08/2018 16:05

Congratulations everyone. How are you all feeling?

I don’t really have any symptoms although I am hoping that is because I am too busy focusing on a horrible cold that I am suffering from. I definitely feel really tired but that is all.

Hello folks!

I'm taking the plunge and jumping aboard this thread even though I only just got a (faint!) BFP this afternoon at 12dpo. I'd felt nauseous all morning, so it's good to know it's not food poisoning Grin

Going to do one of those digital Clearblue ones this evening just to make sure I'm not making things up...

My last pregnancy ended in a MMC 4 cycles ago, so am trying to not to get my hopes up too much - but it's impossible.

Anyway, hello to you all!

kiltedsheep · 21/08/2018 17:38

@Turtle05 I'm with you on the cramping. It feels pretty alarming, but Dr Google says it's quite normal? Here's hoping, anyway

BoomKapow · 21/08/2018 19:00

Hello! I’d like to join in too please. I’m feeling a bit anxious because my last pregnancy also ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks. kiltedsheep it’s so hard not to get too excited isn’t it! Great t a BFP yesterday and think I’m due about 1st May.

MimiSunshine · 21/08/2018 20:58

Hi can I join?
+ve test last Friday and according to dates etc looks like I’m due 28 April but DD was 10 days over so I’m thinking this one is likely to be early May instead.

I was pretty sure I was pregnant so tested on the first day of my expected period (I’m only just over 4wks now) but with DD I didn’t find out until I was nearly 7wks and then symptoms kicked in a week later.

This time I’m finding the waiting game hard, I’m almost wishing the nausea on just get some reassurance

blh23 · 21/08/2018 21:58

Anyone else wanting to keep testing to make sure it's still a positive? Going to be such a loooong wait 😩😩

Hope everyone is feeling okay! xo

kiltedsheep · 21/08/2018 22:16

Congratulations all! Let's hope our beans are sticky.

@blh23 Literally just finished POAS. For the third time today. And it's still a BFP (2-3 weeks apparently). So I think I'll stop testing now, otherwise our bank balance (and my sanity) will suffer.

blh23 · 21/08/2018 22:31

@kiltedsheep I don't even want to look at bank balance right now 😂

Turtle05 · 22/08/2018 05:38

I really hope you're right! I'm freaking myself out that it means there's something wrong.

And yes congrats everyone! Exciting / nerve-wracking times ahead!

MimiSunshine · 22/08/2018 08:11

I’m very tempted to keep POAS. I wasn’t like this at all in my first pregnancy.
POAS once and then was like “right, shit, right, okay”.

Not that we weren’t happy, it was just very quick from stopping contraceptives which the decision forbthat had been only a short time before and I was somewhat in denial.

This time around we’ve discussed timings for trying since last year. It’s once again happened very very quick for us (so far very very lucky) but I feel Like I’m analysing every twinge etc

I have to keep reminding myself that last time I was in blissful ignore at this stage for a few more weeks and everything was fine
