Place marking.

Very exciting @maxiflump1 !! Mines not till August but I have my booking-in tomorrow (finally at 9+4!!)

Does anyone know if we have a Facebook group yet? I'd love to join when I'm further along.

FrowningFlamingo · 19/07/2018 13:38

Can't believe we are on thread four. The December 2018 lot are only on thread three!

lookingforadvice just like with the early scans, I think people on these groups are much more likely than others to have these kind of tests.
We will be having it because we can easily afford it, it's more accurate and I have had some experience of family having unexpected life limiting illnesses diagnosed at birth of their babies. They are mostly relatives married in and distant enough not to increase my risk but seeing what they went through makes me more cautious I think. If we couldn't afford it I would happily stick with the nhs testing though. I am 30 and no risk factors that I know of.

Yakadee · 19/07/2018 13:50

Mine's on Monday! Can't wait xxx

powkin · 19/07/2018 13:51

Having a terrible dry wretching day and had to rush to the toilet at work with diarrhoea :( Sorry for TMI. I used to have a bit of IBS, especially with heat, but the hormones seem to be making it much worse. So embarrassing and colleague keeps asking if I’m OK and I hate being vague about it but I’m also worried about telling her for some reason. I think she’ll be a bit gutted that I’m pregnant.

Booking appointment is tomorrow so going to have a good old moan then I think!

Camsie30 · 19/07/2018 13:51

Thread 4 already?!

hayley013 · 19/07/2018 14:08

Tumon · 19/07/2018 14:16

Thread 4 already!
My midwife appointment is after my scan. Just three days but I’m guessing this isn’t the norm? Scan I’ll be 12 weeks and mw app 12+3
Anyone else have same situ?

Since2016 · 19/07/2018 14:19

Deep joy - dry retching (why is it SO LOUD) and then vom in work loo - which is in middle of open plan office and only 2 cubicles.

@Tumon had this last time. Doesn't make any difference ime.

Alicejj8x · 19/07/2018 14:36

Been like a zombie today. This exhaustion is something I've never ever until being preg experienced before

Koalatom1 · 19/07/2018 14:40

I can’t keep up 😂
Right must refind this link now x

Leonora94 · 19/07/2018 14:43

thismeansnothing · 19/07/2018 14:47

Got my booking in appointment tommorow (8+3) hopefully they'll do me an EPU referral too. If not having a private scan at the weekend

MrsY87 · 19/07/2018 14:49

Place marking

Just had an hr and a half nap whilst DS napped...bliss! Now I need to walk the dogs before nursery pick up & I just don't have the energy at all, they'll have to settle with quick walk.

We had the harmony test done with DS because we were seeing a private consultant after I'd had a few mcs and he recommended it. Was glad we had it done as an issue showed up on our 20w scan and as we'd had the harmony done we could immediately rule out those chromosome issues. I think we'll probably have it done again this time for peace of mind, I'm 31 with no other risk factors but seems worth it.

My mw called to say our booking appointment has now been split into 2, one early pregnancy appointment at the gp with the community mw & then the booking appointment is at the hospital. The scan is then at a different time so 3 appointments rather than 2...first one is next Monday!

Celebelly · 19/07/2018 14:57

Can't believe we are on fourth thread already!

Tumon · 19/07/2018 15:04

Good to know @since2016

I had harmony done last time. Just for piece of mind. Will probably do it again this time for same reason! Think it was about £300?

CakeLady123 · 19/07/2018 15:22

@Camsie30 I'm glad I'm not the only one in the 40 club! 💪

Baby160P · 19/07/2018 15:31

Marking my place here too xx

powkin · 19/07/2018 15:52

@thismeansnothing - My booking app is tomorrow and I’ll be 8+4 so almost due date twins! Hope it goes well.

thismeansnothing · 19/07/2018 15:57

Yup. Hopefully will be a elcs so will be on time this time. DD was edd 19/02/2012 didn't have her till 07/03 😱😱😱

jeanzbeanz · 19/07/2018 16:02

I'm noticing some definite changes on my waistline - rather than just feeling bloated, below my belly button feels quite hard and definitely thicker! (not a good description but not sure how else to put it 😅)

Been feeling much better today - have done almost all my laundry and generally felt a bit more normal - hoping this is here to stay! 11+3 today.

DragonFlew · 19/07/2018 16:47

I think we talk too much haha!

hayley013 · 19/07/2018 16:48

Question: I've felt like utter crap today, literally didn't pull myself together until 2pm and kept coming over really hot to the point of breaking out in a sweat all over, now when I go to the toilet and have a wee it stings so bad, think I'm ok to leave it until tomorrow to go to the doctors to check for water infection? The burning is pretty constant now I've went to the toilet xx

hayleyfx · 19/07/2018 16:49

My 12 week scan is on Tuesday! I’m so nervous 😬 sickness seemed to be improving last week but I’m back to being unable to keep food down. Just ate two slices of toast (all I’ve eaten today) and it came back up within a minute - also toast is horrible to throw up! 🤢

powkin · 19/07/2018 16:53

@hayley013 sounds like a Urinary Tract Infection. I’m suffering with one at the moment. Best to get it seen ASAP so it doesn’t travel further up. Make sure you remind them you are pregnant so they give you the right antibiotics!
