New thread ladies... not long until the first 12 week scans.... mines a week tomorrow!

Thought I'd just add my scan photos from yesterday. 13 weeks tomorrow. Three photos cost...£10! Is that standard?!

Also, does anyone know what the two different measurements relate to?

@Picklesandpies. No idea about the measurements unfortunately but such a cute couple of scan pictures!

Lovely pic! I believe you get 1 scan pic then it's £5 each. Not sure just something I'm sure I've read

@Picklesandpies I THINK the first measurement is length of baby from crown to rump and the smaller one is the nuchal translucency measurement fit which anything under 3.0 I think is classed as normal. Happy to be corrected by anyone with greater knowledge though!!

Thanks @maxiflump1 but we actually didn't have nuchal translucency measured as we declined the combined test (we had Panorama test and everything came back low risk - didn't want to be confused if we had conflicting test results.) The sonographer said it looked normal and they'd have only measured if it looked really big. Hope we did the right thing...!

My trust is £4 for a photo and we paid for 1 but they gave us 3. We didn’t get any choice in which ones we got which was a shame, one isn’t any good but the other two are ok. There were other points in the scan that I would have preferred the photo to be from.

Thanks @Baby160P - I feel sorry for those who haven't got £10 to spend on photos - they didn't ask whether that was ok before giving them to us!

@Fredthespider me too - actually didn't think ours were the best considering what we saw on the scan (hands, feet etc) but I suppose it's primarily a medical scan and they aren't thinking about the best angles (as much as I'd love them to spend longer getting a good one!)

@Picklesandpies I hope you don't mind me saying but I'm pretty sure you're having a girl from those scan pics!! I like to think I'm a bit of a pro at the nub theory 😂 lovely scan btw, glad everything went well x

Gosh @IndiX - I don't know how the nub theory works at all but that's interesting! Would be delighted with either but with two dds already it would certainly be easier with clothes etc!

We had our scan yesterday and am 13 weeks today with a due date of 5th Feb!
Told all our family and friends are so exited.
Just to tell work but my manager is changing so I’m really nervous not that they can do much about it

@Picklesandpies I may be completely wrong so don't hold me to it 😂 when I was pregnant with my dd I got a bit obsessed with gender theories haha!

@Picklesandpies ours is 1 for £5 or 3 for £10. Gotta get 3 so the grandparents can have one XD

I’m absolutely ravenous today! Cannot stop eating.

Ive got my dating scan tomorrow... I am stressed!! Should be 11+3 tomorrow all being well..

It’s at 9am so nice and early. I feel sick anyway, but I think I think I’m worse with nerves 😬

@powkin think I have reached that stage! I feel so hungry and get quite intense hunger pains which makes a change from being off my food for weeks! I ate a lot today and yesterday although probably only “a lot” by my pregnant standards and not by by normal standards 🤔

Heard baby’s heartbeat on my Doppler for the first time tonight 😊 so exciting!

@craftymum01 how exciting! How much was your Doppler? Where did you get it from? I’m a bit scared about getting one and becoming obsessed with it... but I’d still love to have one! X
