Hi Daisy, thought I would come and join you...

I didn't get baby blues with DS2 but with DS1 I remember crying into my dinner telling DH nothing was wrong (and it wasn't)

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 18:40

Just finished my dinner and it was yummy! Maybe it was better than dp didn't cook it coz it wouldn't have tasted so good!!

Daisybump · 25/04/2007 18:43

I didn't really have baby blues as the sleep deprivation wiped out all emotions , but I did have a wobbly at about six weeks when I had tried to do lots of jobs around the house, hadn't finished a single one, the house was a wreck and I just sat there howling whilst DS just looked at me!...my poor sis had to come over and sort things out

Tut tut to the Sh*t in the title.

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 18:46

I just remember not being able to bf and being really tired and crying A LOT!! Once you get the hang of bfing and have a bit of rest your hormones calm down a bit!

derlor · 25/04/2007 18:46

don't you just love hormones?!?!?!?!?!

Daisybump · 25/04/2007 18:47

Bath and bedtime for the sprog-monster now that DH has abandoned me for an all nighter at work.....going to drive to school in the morning even though it's a 5 minute walk away...

Anyone else have a major blip at about 4 months? I found all the tiredness caught up with me then.

Daisybump · 25/04/2007 18:48

Oh, should we not use sweary words then?...will we really be in for it now?

annobal · 25/04/2007 18:48

Thanks Daisy, so is your little monkey.

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 18:49

I had quite a few minor blips! I'm really not very good at sleep deprivation!

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 18:49

Shit, we are bad aren't we?!

annobal · 25/04/2007 18:51

Shit, yeah

Daisybump · 25/04/2007 18:52

I do remeber getting really upset on day five as I'd run out of clean vests...and sending DH (then XP) out to buy more....

Word of advice for first timers....Never underestimate the number of vests you'll get through until you get the hang of nappy changing....I think I may have mentioned that before..it obviously scarred me emotionally!!

OP posts:
Daisybump · 25/04/2007 18:53

shit...I've forgotten to give DS his bath

OP posts:
annobal · 25/04/2007 18:54

I don't remember it being as bad 2nd time around. Could just be pg memory loss

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 25/04/2007 18:55

Shit..... Just found you again!

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 18:57

Yuk, shitty up back vests!! Tip for first timers....chuck them in the bin!! Unless you wash them straight away the poo marks don't come out!

Check this out! Had me PMSL!

annobal · 25/04/2007 18:57

Agree Holly. Same goes for pants when potty training

annobal · 25/04/2007 18:58
