March 2018

I have just got a (faint) BFP which, going by ovulation, would give me an EDD of March 2nd.

I recently had two early MC so I'm definitely not getting excited yet - but equally trying to stay positive and believe this one might just stick, hence starting this thread!

This would be my second DC, I have a DD who is 26 months.

Anyone else?!

Not me (I'm October) but congratulations. 2 early miscarriages really sucks: I hope this one works out for you.

Hiya! There's me! If this one works out I would be due 26 Feb or so but I have had two early losses (one at 6 weeks in Feb and one at 8 weeks in 2012) as well as my daughter who is 3 so I am very cautious at the moment. How are you feeling? Congratulations! Xx

Gracie20 · 22/06/2017 22:22

Ps I know it's not March but close enough?!?

DancingUnicorn · 23/06/2017 07:23

Hi..... faint bfp on Wednesday (followed by a day and a half of spotting! Scary stuff). But, if all goes well edd 4th March.

Had a mmc in March/April. Found at 12 week scan. So I'm quite a lot more aware this time around that this might not go to plan. But I'm trying really hard to be excited and assume the best!

DancingUnicorn · 23/06/2017 07:24

This will be my first, if all goes well!

Gracie20 · 23/06/2017 07:57

Hello! Sounds like we've all been through the mill a bit. I had a little bit of spotting on Monday too which was a bit scary. But people keep telling me it can be normal! Good luck to to all x

Yes, I understand it can be normal. Definitely not what I needed to put my anxiety at ease!

DancingUnicorn · 23/06/2017 08:42

Fx for us all indeed!

MegsMog · 23/06/2017 09:25

SeatOf thank you - so lovely of you! X

Hello dancing and gracie - sorry to see you've both had miscarriages too.

I'm feeling a bit queasy but my lines are still super faint so not reading much into it. I saw my lovely acupuncturist yesterday so I feel like I've done all I can! Just FX now.

DancingUnicorn · 23/06/2017 10:23

I also feel pretty queasy megs. And shattered. Could do with going back to bed!

Gracie20 · 23/06/2017 13:32

I don't feel but I do feel very very tired. Finding looking after my 3yo quite taxing! I had a reasonable line on a normal Clearblue but then I
did a digi on Tuesday and it said 1-2 when it should have said 2-3 really I think so not feeling great about that. I also have a work Leaving do this evening and I am known for normally loving a glass of 🍷...

Gracie20 · 23/06/2017 13:32

That should read I don't feel sick

DancingUnicorn · 24/06/2017 08:02

Retested this morning. Much, much darker line. Just hoping the spotting properly buggers off now! How are your lines doing megs?

Gracie the weeks markers on the digitalis are known for being unreliable, so try not to let it worry you too much.

Gracie20 · 24/06/2017 08:50

Thank you dancing! Good news on your lines on the tests. That sounds really positive!

MegsMog · 24/06/2017 09:57

I think this pregnancy is going the same was as the last two - lines not getting any stronger and still very weak. Sad

Feeling quite miserable and starting to research miscarriage clinics...

Dancing that's wonderful news!

Oh megs. I'm so sorry lovely. That's so shit.

The Tommy's website has the three leading rmc listed along with what you need to do to get a referral.

Thinking of you. ❤️💐

Loupee · 24/06/2017 11:10

Hello,

Just had a positive clear blue digi and a quick google tells me my EDD is 1st March!

This will be baby number 2, DS is nearly 5.

My Mumsnet group from DS was amazing and we are all still in touch now.

Sorry to hear that Megs, hoping for a different outcome for you.

Gracie20 · 24/06/2017 11:39

Megs I'm very sorry to hear this. Will your gp refer you to a miscarriage clinic? Mine said he would if this one doesn't work out. Welcome Loupee and congrats on baby no2! Xx

twinklingelephant · 24/06/2017 23:02

I've just found out I'm due March 3rd with no2. DS was 4 in May. Crossing my fingers for a sticky bean!
Like Loupee my 2013 MN group is still going strong albeit over on Facebook!
Sorry to those of you who have struggled with mc, I hope this time round brings better news xx

DancingUnicorn · 24/06/2017 23:15

Hi twinkling! Congratulations!

Yes, I'm desperate for this one to be successful. Really wish my spotting would stop, early pregnancy is stressful enough without things happening!!

Flatwhite31 · 25/06/2017 06:34

Hi ladies! Mind if I join this thread? I'm a 31 year old primary school teacher and this is my first pregnancy, conceived on cycle 4. My story has all been a bit confusing - 28 day cycle, very positive (unexpectedly early) OPK on CD 11, think I possibly ovulated on CD 12/13, and got first (faint) BFP on Wed using an FRER, a whole week before AF was due! Repeated FRER the next day, and the line was stronger. Did clear blue digital on Friday which confirmed a BFP (1-2 weeks), and did a bog standard line test this early this morning (can't sleep at the moment!) which showed a strong line. Lots of tests, I know, but given that I'm not even late yet, I just wanted to be sure!
My only symptoms at the moment are craving curry (lol!) and ridiculously sore boobs. Feeling the usual anxieties hoping that everything will progress ok.
Megs, sorry to hear your news. Hoping for a positive outcome for you.

Loupee · 25/06/2017 07:42
