Ooh, I've been waiting for this one but on hols in Spain and might not port much for the next week and a half so didn't start one.

I got my bfp on sat very early morning before we flew. My period is officially late was due yesterday feeling a bit anxious and knicker checking a lot!

Have you got any symptoms yet? I'm very tired and have very sore boobs but that's it at the mo.

Is a bit frustrating being in Spain and not eating any shelfish or fancy chese. Did have a rather nice virgin mojito yesterday though.

Edd is the same as yours 6/7 December.

pokes nose through door

Hello ladies Smile nervously stepping in after getting a faint BFP on Sunday amsa stronger one today (when AF was due).

Only been ttc a few months - it's ore first - bur am very excited. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much as I know the statistics about how many pregnancies survive the first 12 weeks, so the "December babies" title here feels a bit like tempting fate. That said, it would be lovely to go through these early days with some good company here, with you fine people!

Congrats to you both. I've not really had symptoms, sore/sensitive boobs since Saturday but that's it. Not expecting many symptoms just yet. What about you?

shinysparklythings · 01/04/2015 10:07

sweets I know why you mean about it. We are on hols with the inlaws and felt like we had to tell them as obviously I am not eating a lot of stuff that I normally would and decaf tea etc. They are all really excited for us but I just keep thinking of the mc stats :( however the %risk does drop fairly quickly.

I'm trying to think there is nothing I an do other than try not to get stressed out too much!

elelfrance · 01/04/2015 10:38

Hello everyone :-) delighted to see a december babies thread !! My EOD is December 1st, this is my second (I have an 18 month old daughter).
Not too tired yet, but a bit nauseous in the mornings, which last till about 2pm...

Fingers crossed for everyone !

toadierocks · 01/04/2015 14:11

Hi Shiny Ele and sweets Grin waves

Just getting my first waves of nausea and feeling really 'out of it' and dizzy.....oh the joys to come of the 1st Tri!!

Was tentative to start a thread, as I felt it was temping fate but I had a MC last Nov so I'm trying to stay really really positive about having a sticky bean this time round.

I don't know how to set up a stats speadsheet for all us......anyone have any ideas? I remember Shiny and Sweets from the buses and the mega bus but were you on the TTC buses too Ele ?

Hi all, can I very tentatively add my stats to the list? Got my BFP on Monday, edd is Dec 11th.

This will (hopefully) be DC2 for us, but I had a mmc early last year and it's taken us a year to get pregnant again, so I'm a bit of a nervous wreck already! trying to stay positive like you say toadie, but I don't think I'll allow myself to believe there is actually going to be a baby for a while, so might not post much over the coming weeks.

elelfrance · 01/04/2015 15:10

I lurked on the march ttc bus, but as it was our first month trying, i wasn't that focused on it, and didn't contribute...no idea how those spreadsheet thingys are done i'm afraid

hi metal, welcome ;-) its so early, its scary to think we have another 2 months or so to go before allowing ourselves to relax a bit

shinysparklythings · 01/04/2015 15:25

ladies! As far as stats go shall we just add ours on a post for now then collate them in a bit.

Sorry to hear about mc fx these are sticky beans!

Shinysparklythings, 29, no dc yet but Edd 7/12/15

Sweets27 · 01/04/2015 16:12

Hello ele and metal! Congratulations on the BFPs!

I'm not sure about spreadsheet - I did help mummyofone to keep it updated on the April bus, but no idea how to create it. Let's do stats in our posts for now, while we're still a little band and it's easy to keep track!

Mine:
Sweets27, 29, dc1, EDD 9 Dec 2015

PS sorry about all the typos I've spotted in my first post!

Metalhead · 01/04/2015 17:26

Found you all! I too will be tentatively hanging out on here until things have a) sunk in a bit more and b) are out of the risky zone.

########## ThePug / 29 / EDD for baby #1 8th Dec ######

Got my bfp yesterday on a Superdrug test and took a CB digi this morning that confirmed it and said 2-3 weeks. In proper speak, I think that makes me 4+4 today

Wow elel did you get your bfp on your very first month trying?

Sneaks in and looks around nervously......Smile Hello! EDD 5th Dec, but very anxious as only getting feint bfp lines so far, which don't seem to be getting darker, so fingers crossed..... Trying not to worry and POAS every two seconds, but it's tricky!

Sweets27 · 02/04/2015 07:40

Hello withalittlesparkle and komnu, congratulations! Smile komnu how many dpo are you? I first tested at 11dpo and got very faint BFP, but by yesterday (14dpo) it was nice and strong, so give it a few days!

Anyone else feeling the need to poas regularly to check it's real?! DH and I were chatting last night, it doesn't seem at all real to us yet even though we're tentatively excited. Probably a good thing in case something goes wrong. Maybe once we've had a scan and told family it will hit us Smile

Sweets27 21 dpo and still faint lines :-( but on cheapies, and they don't seem to be getting fainter, and I am pretty nauseous, so tentatively hopeful!

Another one here addicted to poas! I think it's because I got my BFP so early and AF is not due until Saturday. Hopefully once I'm past that point I will be able to stop...

As for symptoms, I've had a really dry mouth and been drinking and peeing lots, and yesterday afternoon tiredness just hit me like a ton of bricks. Still feeling pretty exhausted this morning despite an early night.

Hope your results come back clear sparkle and your DS isn't suffering too much! We were lucky that DD had quite a mild case of it but I know others who've had it really bad.

shinysparklythings · 02/04/2015 08:37

Ooh we are getting a little group together now, welcome along!

If I was in the uk I would be a Poas addict but I'm on Spain and don't have any. I don't think my hubby would understand if I went and bought some.

Now that I'm late I have relaxed a bit, but still breathe a sigh of relief when I go to the loo and there is no blood. Will be happier I think when I get home and have access to doctors and Poas!!ShockShockShock

I have some horrendous Mossi bites and nothing to put on them as the stuff I have with me says not suitable!

Symptoms wise very sore boobs, tiredness, peeing more though that could be as I'm drinking more as it's hot some twinges down below, not the same as period cramps but same area. Really hoping the sickness holds off as really don't want to be on a plane & pukey!

Hope all you ladies are doing well. X

Komnu · 02/04/2015 08:54

Good plan I might try a digital - but a little scared Hmm

ineedsomeinspiration · 02/04/2015 09:19
