Ooh hello! Plonking my bum awkwardly down in the new thread Smile

ldt87 · 18/09/2014 11:16

Checking in! Xx

binkybunny · 18/09/2014 11:19

Can't believe how many of these we've got through.

Huffing and puffing my huge ass down with associated grunting noises Grin

FlipFantasia · 18/09/2014 11:21

Marking my place! Lovely list Smile

MrsBadCrumble74 · 18/09/2014 11:30

Parking my bottom down with a huge ooouffff. I seem to make alot of bizarre noises at the moment Confused. Especially going down the stairs with piercing 'I'm going to pee my pants' sensations…….nice.

flip and slide - so sorry to hear that your babies are having a tough time - things will get so much better and there will be snuggles aplenty. The combination of giving birth/milk coming in/day 3 is a harsh emotional combination. But it will pass.

gunwalloe I am having exactly the same thing re sugar at 38+4. I have not been diagnosed with GD with this pregnancy but have been monitored by the diabetic team all the way through. My sugars went a bit bonkers around week 30 but I kept it below 7.8 with diet. At that point half a slice of bread was pushing it and now I can eat a whole slice of toast and levels are around 6.5.

Been having tightenings, lots of pressure down below for a few days now and wondering when this little chap is going to make an arrival…...

littlewilliam · 18/09/2014 11:33

Can someone add me to the list?? EDD 10th October DC1 (Boy).

Last day at work tomorrow and will be 37weeks..yay x

CellyD · 18/09/2014 11:36

Fedup and Slide sorry you're having a difficult time. It won't be long before you're having lovely cuddles again.

My DD was in a lightbox for 5 days, it was tough expressing and cup feeding but we got through it and it didn't affect how DP and I bonded with her. Hopefully the time spent away from your little ones will zoom by.

Good luck CJ.

Another one here who groans when undertaking basic movements... walking up stairs, sitting down, standing up, bending down etc. It sounds like we are a group of exceptionally sexy ladies at the moment!

Can I add a trip to my local sushi restaurant to your list Goats and an enormous vat of Pinot noir.

Thanks for the new thread Gun. Hope the scan went well Mr and Mrs Dog.

MrsBadCrumble74 · 18/09/2014 11:45

Brain not working - meant fedup

Lily31 · 18/09/2014 11:51

Plonking myself down after a v relaxed morning. Hypno CD (first time I've been awake through it -whoop), bath and an attempt at perineal massage. How does anyone reach? I blame my short arms and long upper body Confused

Hope the scan goes ok mr and mrs dog. What is team green?!

Bumpforme2014 · 18/09/2014 12:14

Plonking my big bum down with a cough today :-( staying here all day though!

weeonion · 18/09/2014 12:24

Hi folks! Another waddling ooooffer here!

FrauEnglischLehrerin · 18/09/2014 12:28

cj how far along are you? Must be frustrating being bumped when you've psyched yourself up for it, but better that than the risk of no scbu bed if needed. Hope you at least get a decent meal today!

tak1ngchances · 18/09/2014 12:30

Did a yoga class this morning and I was terribly limited in my range of movement.
Ended up mainly breathing and doing cat/cows!
Now sitting on my sofa waiting for the energy to do some more batch cooking...

binkybunny · 18/09/2014 12:34

excited what an anti climax! Hope you get your cs soon.

I always thought July and August were the busiest times, wish I'd known Sept and Oct is. Our MLU only has 3 delivery rooms and 3 post birth rooms, Im dreading it being full and getting sent to the hospital as there's lots of bad stories from there, including births in the corridor and being left to deliver pretty much on your own!

Yellow let's hope it's an exciting close call on the vote, maybe that will get your labour going Grin

SummerDreams13 · 18/09/2014 12:43

Bum and bump down, feet up - maternity leave proper in a week thank goodness!!

SweetPeaPods · 18/09/2014 12:54

Hi everyone!
Just marking place on new thread. Wonder how many babies will arrive on this one.

ExcitedCJ · 18/09/2014 12:55

Hi Frau I am 36 + 3 today.
Apparently the extreme panic to get baby out today has now passed & no one has been near me to do any monitoring, give an explanation of what is going to happen. I am really pissed off!

YellowWellies · 18/09/2014 13:03

I'm in suspected latent labour and being sent home to progress. Hope if its a no vote tomo it doesn't sink my lovely oxytocin levels. A yes might propel me into full on labour - whoop! Feeling very positive and chuffed to be sent home, after steroids to get on with it. Contractions between 3-5 mins, more plug but no real pain just a bit niggly. Utterly different from last time. My pain threshold is normally pish!

Apparently sept / oct is all the drunken Christmas and NY party babies!!!! My community MW helpfully warned me the ward would be full of smack addicts and their social workers (thanks!) it isn't!!!

CJ that sucks but best not to be delivering in a mad house if you can avoid it.

FlipFantasia · 18/09/2014 13:12

CJ that sucks! Hope you get an explanation/action plan soon.

madamweasel · 18/09/2014 13:15

When I had DS the postnatal ward was half full of women prisoners from Holloway prison handcuffed to the beds with attendant prison officers littering the ward, 2 per bed. It made for quite a busy time of it. Can't say I didn't feel sad about all the LOs having a tough start.

puppythedog · 18/09/2014 13:18

Scan went well. Schrödenberg is measuring big, at one point the sonographer got all concebtratey and asked if we were seeing anyone else today. Queue worried us. Baby moved and better measurement allayed her worries. All good and placenta is not blocking the exit.

Team green is same as team yellow, just another non sex/gender specific colour. I.e we want to keep it a surprise :-)

Sorry such mixed messages CJ Hmm good luck Yellow and if yes vote we may want to move north of the border! Can we stay with you Wink

cabster · 18/09/2014 13:21

Thanks gun, that list is bee-yo-tiful!

Taking DD to song time at the library in a bit, when I return I shall have some rather basic questions to ask about batch cooking and freezing as I've never done it before apart from chicken stock... (Eyes up tak1ng)

kittyvet · 18/09/2014 13:27

Marking my spot by plopping down on sofa with large bump flopping to left! Feeling all my kicks much lower- wondering if this means baby engaged or if it's turned breech??? I still can only eat meal got for sparrow. Seeing midwife later this afternoon so hoping it's not breech!
No one told me this was the Christmas rush either! Typical! Me and DH tried for a year so will just have to take it as it comes!
CJ thinking of you - sounds pretty rubbish and also thinking of the babies still in hospital. Good luck yellow! Can't believe you and fedup were only due couple of days before me! Making this all very real!
Thanks gunwalloe for the new thread and list!

binkybunny · 18/09/2014 13:44

puppy glad to hear all's ok with you and Mrs.

We can swap if you like, if it's a yes we'll be heading South sharpish so DH still has a job! Feeling very stressed about it all today Sad

SweetPeaPods · 18/09/2014 13:49

My family will also be moving south of border if it's a yes. Mostly because so many will lose their jobs.
